Electrical Safety
• The unit should only be connected to a properly grounded mains
power supply with voltage that matches that specied.
• To prevent overload, do not share the same power supply socket
with too many other electronic components.
• Do not place the power cord where it could be stepped on or tripped
over.
• Do not place heavy items on the power cord, they could damage the
wire.
• Do not allow water or moisture to enter the unit or power adapter.
• Do not use in wet, moist areas such as bathrooms, steamy kitchens
or near swimming pools.
• Pull the plug out immediately and seek professional help if the plug or power cord is
damaged, liquid is spilled onto the unit, if it is accidentally exposed to moisture or the
unit is not working normally.

• Keep the product away from ammable gases and liquids,
candles and open ames.
• Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, stoves,
or other apparatus that produce heat.
• Do not attempt to repair or replace any part of this equip-
ment unless it is specically recommended in the user guide.
All other services should be referred to a qualied technician.
• Make sure the power cord is plugged rmly and completely
into the outlet.
• Hold the main plug, not the wires, when removing from a
socket.
• During a thunderstorm switch o the unit and unplug from
the socket.
• Do not handle the unit with wet hands.
• Only clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or pe-
troleum based uids.
• Do not place heavy objects on the unit.
• Do not shake, knock or move the product while in operation,
you may damage the internal circuits.

Key Parts and Components
• Switch o while cooking
Oils released while cooking may reduce the lifespan of the sterilizing
module. After cooking, the room should be ventilated to remove oils.
Viruskiller can then be used to remove the remaining smell.
• Ensure airow is not restricted
Do not position Viruskiller so that airow to and from the unit is
restricted by large items such as furniture, electronic items or cur-
tains.
• Maintain proper ventilation
Viruskiller is designed to purify and sterilize your indoor air, and will
do this very eectively if used correctly. Good indoor air quality also
requires proper ventilation. We recommend opening windows or
doors, or operating A/C units, for at least 30 minutes a day.
• Position at least 3 metres from the bed
To avoid excessive cooling caused from sleeping in direct airow,
we recommend positioning VirusKiller at least 3 metres away from
the bed.
• Maintain regular servicing and maintenance
• The appliance is not to be used by children or persons with reduced physical, senso-
ry or mental capabilities. This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised
at all times.
• Never look directly at a burning ultra-violet light – this may permanently damage
your eyes. Switch o and unplug before performing maintenance.

Manual Operation Mode
When the power button is pressed, the unit
emits a beep sounds and begins to operate.
If the product does not operate, ensure the
socket is plugged securely into a live, prop-
erly grounded outlet of the correct voltage.
To increase fan speed:

Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning the Pre-Filter
Replacing the HEPA lter
The fragrance pod
Replacing the side carbon lters
The plastic pre-lter is reusable. To clean
it follow this procedure:
1. Open front cover. (1)
2. Remove pre-lter case from unit (2)
and separate from HEPA lter (3)
3. Clean the pre-lter with plain water
4. Allow to dry completely out of direct
sunlight
5. Replace
When the display shows ‘FILT’ at 2 minute
intervals, it is time to replace the HEPA l-
ter (2000 hours). After replacing the HEPA
lter (3), press and hold the UP switch (4)
for at least 14 seconds to reset the HEPA
timer to zero.
The fragrance pod can be used to distribute a pleasant aroma throughout the room.
Open the white lid on the fragrance pod and place a Radic8 fragrance lter pad into the pod.
After switching o the power, open side
lter door (5) and replace carbon lter (6),
then close the door.
The HEPA and carbon lters are not reus-
able and should be replaced.
Depending on the levels of pollution the
lifetime of the HEPA may be longer or
shorter than the recommended 2000
hours use time.
Please contact your local customer service
center or distributor to purchase replace-
ment HEPA and carbon lters.
We recommend you check the pre-lter regularly and clean it as often as necessary, depending on
the levels of pollution.

Error Messages
When to Replace the
Sterilizing Module Circuit overheat error
The lifespan of the Sterilizing Module
is 8000 hours. When the unit has been
operated for 8000 hours, the operation
time (displayed by pressing MODE) will
be a minus gure, as shown below.
The Sterilizing Module should be re-
placed when recommended, otherwise
the sterilizing power and the lifespan of
the unit will be reduced.
The below error message is displayed when
the circuit is overheated. Switch o the unit
and contact the customer service center.
Caution:
• The Fragrance Pod is designed for use with dried natural owers, herbs and whole
spices, or fragrance liquids / essential oils. Herbs, spices or owers should always
be contained within a pouch or bag, and oils must be transferred onto a felt pad.
• If using oils, it is important not to over saturate the felt pad. 2 ml is the maximum
recommended amount. Exceeding this amount may cause oil to drip down into the
unit and damage it.
Door Open
If the door is open the unit will not switch on.
It will emit 3 rapid descending beeps. Check
the magnet connections in the door are prop-
erly aligned with those on the body.
Troubleshooting
Before you call for service, review this list. It may save you time and expense. This list includes
common occurrences that are not the result of defect in workmanship or materials.
Problem – Product will not turn on.
Possible Cause: Is power cord correctly connected to outlet?
Solution: Put power plug into AC outlet and DC jack again.
Possible Cause: Check remote controller?
Solution: Change / reinstall batteries correctly according to the polarity.
Possible Cause: Check if the voltage of DC adaptor is too low?
Solution: This product should be plugged into a properly grounded outlet with the correct
voltage (as shown on the back of the unit)
Problem – Weak wind volume or noise from the product.
Possible Cause: Check if dust has accumulated in the lter?
Solution: Filters should be replaced or cleaned at the appropriate time.

Problem – The air purifying function is not eective.
Possible Cause: Check if indoor air is seriously contaminated.
Solution: Ventilate properly, minimum 30 minutes.
Possible Cause: Check if the pre-lter is heavily contaminated.
Solution: Clean the pre-lter
Possible Cause: Check if the HEPA lter is heavily contaminated.
Solution: Replace the HEPA lter
Possible Cause: Check the room size compared to the product specications.
Solution: Select the appropriate model of VirusKiller to suit the space to be covered
Possible Cause: Check if airow is restricted.
Solution: Make sure there is sucient clearance around the product and that the air inlet and
outlet are not blocked by furniture, curtains, etc
Problem – Strange smell is emitted from the air outlet.
Possible cause: Is this a ‘new product’ smell?
Solution: It may be an antimicrobial smell emitted by the sterilizing module or lters and will
disappear over a short period of operation (1-2 weeks). It is completely harmless to humans
and animals.
Possible cause: Has the unit been used during or shortly after cooking?
Solution: Some food odors can permeate into the lter or the sterilizing module. Use only after
sucient ventilation.
Possible cause: Has the unit been used where there are heavy emissions of smoke or odors?
Solution: In areas emitting smoke or odors, the performance of the sterilizing module may be
aected. Use only after ventilation.
Possible cause: Is the washable pre-lter completely dry?
Solution: This may be from the pre-lter if replaced before dry. Remove, wash again, and allow
to dry completely before further operation.
In this manual, you will nd a card containing details of your limited warranty and contact
details for your local customer services center, to whom all enquiries and warranty claims
should be directed.
All warranties are rendered void and the cost of repair will be payable by the user in the
case of:
• Damages caused by putting foreign objects (such as water, soft drink, coee, fragrance
oils or toy etc.) in or on the unit.
• Damages caused by transportation or handling.
• Damages caused by use of products such as benzene or thinner.
• Damages caused by incorrect power supply or output voltage.
• Breakdown or loss of parts caused by unauthorized disassembling or modication.
• Repair or replacement undertaken by unauthorized persons.
• Damages caused by non-adherence to the instructions provided in this user guide, and
as given by the local customer service center.
• Damages caused by careless or improper use.

• No utilizar mientras cocine
Los aceites liberados durante la cocción pueden reducir la vida útil del
módulo de esterilización. Después de cocinar, la habitación debe estar
ventilada para eliminar los aceites. Viruskiller se puede utilizar para
eliminar el olor restante.

No coloque Viruskiller de modo que el ujo de aire hacia y desde la uni-
dad esté restringido por elementos grandes como muebles, artículos

cas, sensoriales o mentales. Este electrodoméstico no es un juguete. Los niños
deben ser supervisados.

Limpieza y Mantenimiento
Limpiar el Pre Filtro
Reemplazar el ltro HEPA
La cápsula de fragancia
Cambiar los Filtros
de Carbono Laterales
El pre ltro de plástico es reusable. Para
limpiarlo siga este procedimiento:
1. Abra la cubierta frontal (1).
2. Retire la caja del pre ltro de la unidad
(2) y sepárelo del ltro HEPA (3).
3. Limpie el pre ltro con agua pura.
4. Deje que se seque completamente
fuera de la luz solar.
5. Reemplace
Cuando la pantalla muestre ‘FILT’ en
intervalos de 2 minutos, es momento de
reemplazar el ltro HEPA (2000 horas).
Después de reemplazar el ltro HEPA (3),
presione y mantenga pulsado el interrup-
tor UP (4) por al menos 14 segundos para
resetear el temporizador de HEPA a cero.
La cápsula de fragancia puede ser utilizada para distribuir un aroma agradable por la
habitación.
Abra la tapa blanca en la cápsula de fragancia y coloque una almohadilla de ltro de fragancia
Radic8 en la cápsula.
Después de apagarlo, abra la puerta
lateral del ltro (5) y reemplaza el ltro de
carbono (6), luego cierra la puerta.
Los ltros HEPA y de carbono no son
reutilizables y deben ser reemplazados
Dependiendo de los niveles de contami-
nación la vida útil del HEPA puede ser más
larga o más corta que lo recomendado
de2000 horas de uso.
Por favor contacte con su centro local de
atención al cliente o distribuidor para en-
cargar un reemplazamiento de los ltros
de carbono y HEPA.
Te recomendamos que revises el pre ltro regularmente y lo limpies tan a menudo como sea nece-
sario, dependiendo de los niveles de contaminación.

Mensaje de error
Cuándo reemplazar el
Módulo de Esterilización. Error de sobrecalentamiendo
del circuito
El tiempo de vida útil del Módulo de
Esterilización es de 8000 horas. Cuando
la unidad ha sido operada durante 8000
horas, el tiempo de operación (mostrado
al presionar MODE) será un menos (-),
como se muestra a continuación.
El módulo de Esterilización debe ser
reemplazado cuando es recomendado,
de otra manera el poder esterilizante y
la vida útil de la unidad serán reducidos
El mensaje de error a continuacion se
mostrará cuando el circuito se haya so-
brecalentado. Apague la unidad y contacte
con el centro de atención al cliente
Puerta abierta
Si la puerta está abierta la unidad no se
encenderá. Emitirá tres pitidos rápidos de-
scendentes. Compruebe que las conexiones
magnéticas en la puerta están bien alineadas
con las del objeto.
Solución de Problemas
Precaución:
• La cápsula de fragancia está diseñado para usar con ores naturales secas, hierbas
y especias. Estos siempre deben estar dentro de una bolsa como la que se propor-
ciona.
• No utilice aceites u otros liquidos en la cápsula fragancia. Estos pueden caerse en la
unidad y dañarla.
Antes de llamar al servicio, revise esta lista. Esta puede ahorrarle algo de tiempo y gastos. Esta
lista incluye ocurrencias comunes que no son el resultado de un defecto en la mano de obra
o materiales.
Problema – El producto no se enciende.
Posible causa: ¿Está el cable de alimentación conectado correctamente a la toma de corrien-
te??
Solución: Vuelva a enchufar la toma de corriente y la toma de CC

Cambie / reinstale las baterías correctamente de acuerdo con la polaridad.

Este producto debe enchufarse a un tomacorriente correctamente conectado a tierra con el
voltaje correcto (como se muestra en la parte posterior de la unidad).
Problema – Volumen de viento débil o sonido inusual del producto.
Posible causa: Verique si se ha acumulado polvo en el ltro?

En este manual encontrará una tarjeta que contenga los detalles de su garantía limitada y
detalles de contacto para su centro local de atención al cliente, al cual deben dirigirse todas
las consultas y reclamos de garantía.

usuario, y según el centro de atención al cliente local.
8. Daños causados por el uso descuidado o inapropiado.
9. Daños causados por operar el producto en un entorno corrosivo o húmedo.

Posible causa: ¿Es este un olor de “producto nuevo”?
Solución: Este puede ser un olor antimicrobiano emitido por el módulo de esterilización o los
ltros y desaparecerá después de estar operativo durante un corto periodo de tiempo (1-2
semanas). Es completamente inofensivo para animales y humanos.
Posible causa: ¿Ha sido la unidad utilizada durante o poco después de cocinar?
Solución: Los olores de la comida pueden penetrar en el ltro o en el módulo de esterilización.
Posible causa: ¿Está el pre ltro lavable completamente seco?
Solución: Este puede venir del pre ltro si se reemplaza antes de que se seque. Retírelo, lávelo
de nuevo, y deje que se seque completamente antes de volver a operarlo.
Posible causa: ¿Se ha utilizado la unidad donde hay fuertes emisiones de humo u olores?
Solución: En áreas que emiten humo u olores, el rendimiento del módulo de esterilización
puede verse afectado. Use después de la ventilación.
