The Multi-Colored Rotating Light comes with
colorful lenses that shine beams of light
around the room as the light rotates. It is
great for creating lighting effects at a dance,
or a party, or in your living room.
Your light is ETL listed to UL standards.
INSTALLATION
You can mount the rotating light on a desk-
top or on the ceiling. Before you mount the
light, select a location that is:
• Out of the way of normal activities, but
within arm’s reach, so you can operate it
easily.
• Sturdy enough to withstand the light’s
weight.
• Close enough to an AC outlet to use the
attached 6-foot (1.83-meter) power cord.
Desk Mounting
You can place the rotating light on any level
surface such as a desktop.
Ceiling Mounting
You need a ceiling hook and mounting hard-
ware (not supplied) that will anchor securely
into your ceiling structure and will support
about 2.5 pounds.
Consult your local hardware store for the ap-
propriate type of mounting hardware to use
for your ceiling type.
Once the hook is secure, lift the recessed
wire bracket on the bottom of the light’s base
then slip it over the ceiling hook. Be sure to
route the AC power cord away from the unit
and other objects.
OPERATION
1. Plug the AC power cord into a standard
AC outlet. The power cord has a polar-
ized plug that is designed to fit into the
AC outlet only one way. If the plug does
not easily fit into the outlet, do not force
it. Simply turn it over and try again.
2. To turn the rotating light on or off, push
the power switch located on the base of
the light. The ball lights and starts to
rotate.
Unplug the light from the AC outlet when not
in use.
CARE
Keep the light dry; if it gets wet, wipe it dry
immediately. Use and store the light only in

normal temperature environments. Handle the
light carefully; do not drop it. Keep the light
away from dust and dirt, and wipe it with a
damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking
new.
Modifying or tampering with the light’s internal
components can cause a malfunction and in-
validate its warranty. If your light is not per-
forming as it should, take it to your local
RadioShack store for assistance.
Replacing the Bulb
Warnings:
• Use only a 120V/50W halogen light bulb
of the required size. Using a bulb that
does not meet specs might damage the
rotating light.
• Before replacing the bulb, unplug the
rotating light. Be sure the bulb has cooled
down.
1. Use a pointed object such as a screw-
driver to press the tabs located at the bot-
tom of the plastic bulb cover and remove
the cover from the base.
2. Remove the bulb by pulling it straight out
from the white holder and replace it with a
120 V/50W bulb.
3. Replace the cover.
