1Prepare the door and check dimensions
Measure to confirm that the hole in the door

Use a flathead screwdriver to remove
Rectangular face from latch and install
drive-in collar.
Install strike on the door frame
Check the alignment to make sure when the
deadbolt is extended, it is going into the bolt
hole and not hitting the deadbolt strike or
door frame.

3Install exterior assembly
AIMPORTANT:
Before installation, make sure the latch is fully retracted (in the unlocked position) . B Route the cable below the latch and
insert the cylinder tailpiece horizontally through the slot in the latch.

4Install interior assembly
Connect the cable and ensure tight cable connection.
BRotate the turnpiece in vertical position and
the tailpiece in horizontal position.
Make sure the latch is still fully retracted
(in the unlocked position).

5 Reset the lock to teach the lock the orientation of the door
While the door is OPEN and UNLOCK,
load 3 AA batteries into the interior assembly.
For best results, use new, non-rechargeable Alkaline
batteries only. Do not mix old and new batteries.
APress and hold the Reset button on the interior assembly
using a pen or a paper clip.
Do not release the reset button until you completed the
next step.
BLoad the 4th battery and keep holding the reset button
for 10 seconds, until you hear the sound of “beep”.
After the beeping sound, the latch bolt will extend
automatically.
This indicates that the lock has learn the orientation of
the door and the lock is restored to factory setting.

Test operation using backup key and thumbpiece
for smooth rotation.
If turnpiece doesn’t rotate, repeat step 4C, making
sure the turnpiece in vertical position, and touque
blade in horizontal position.

IMPORTANT: Always run this step after installation.
The motor will not operate before completing the step.
IMPORTANT: Do not load batteries until lock is completely installed.
Remove the battery cover.
Locate the slot at the bottom and use your fingernail or a
flat head screwdriver to pry the cover up and pull it off.

Secure the interior assembly
with the supplied screws.

Master Code
Required for programming and feature settings.
Property owner/ manager should keep this information
confidential. The default master code is 12345678.
This code needs to be changed before programming.
Auto Lock
Automatically locks the deadbolt 30 seconds after
unlocking. This feature is off by default. You can set
the Auto Lock time delay between 10 and 99 seconds.
Wrong Entry Limit
After 10 unsuccessful attempts at entering a valid PIN
code, the unit will shut down for 3 minuets.
Silent Mode
The beep sounds when pressing keypad can be muted.
But you will still hear low battery and system alerts.
One Time User Code
This code can only be used once and is automatically
deleted when used.
Vacation Mode
Enabling vacation mode will restrict all user codes
until master code is entered on keypad. If the lock is
unlocked by thumb turn, the lock will sound an alarm.
Low Battery Indicator
If you hear 10 beeps corresponding with 10 red flashing
red lights, that's an indication that the batteries need to
be replaced soon.
Please replace with 4 new AA alkaline batteries and do
not mix old and new batteries.
All settings are retained in the memory when the
batteries are removed and replaced.
Unlock with Fake code
User can prevent pin code exposure from strangers by
entering random digits before or after pin code.

Factory Default Settings
The turnpiece cannot rotate or operate the lock.
Remove and re-install the lock, making sure that the turnpiece is in vertical position.
The lock cannot be locked or unlocked by the keypad.
Make sure that the codes are not disabled. If needed, restore the lock’s default settings.
The keypad doesn’t respond when touched ( no lights are visible and no beeping is heard) .
Make sure the cables are properly connected, and make sure the batteries are new and installed correctly.
After the installation of the batteries, there is no response when you press any button and no beeps are heard.
Check the cable connection and the polarity of the batteries. Also make sure the batteries are not dead.
I forgot my Master Codes.
Perform a reset in order to erase all passcodes. Once the reset is complete, all passcodes will be erased and the Master code
will return to the default value ( 12345678) .

1. Keep the door open and unlocked.
2.Press and hold the Reset button, at the same time take out one battery and then place it back.
3. Keep holding the Reset button for 3 seconds, until you hear the sound of beep.
Restore To Factory Default Settings
This procedure will delete all User Codes associated with the lock.
