1 MI_2063: Removal and Installation Pressure Control Valve
General information
This manual describes the removal and installation of the pressure control valve
based on unit size XL. The work steps can also be used for other unit sizes with
pressure.
The illustrations in this manual are examples only and may differ from the unit.
Safety instructions
CAUTION
Sharp edges on the housing
Risk of cuts on the housing when working in the unit.
Wear protective gloves.
NOTICE
The pan lid must be closed for both removal and installation.
nClose the pan lid before you disconnect the power supply.

Removing the maintenance cover
aThe unit is disconnected from the power.

aThe pan lid is closed.
1. Remove the two screws on the top of the maintenance cover.
2. Lift the lid (1) and pull it backwards (2).

>> The maintenance cover has been removed.
Removing the pressure control valve
1. Remove the metal securing bracket from the connection.

2. Open the hose clamp with a pair of pliers.
3. Push the hose clamp back on the hose and pull the hose off.

4. Open the screw on the metal bracket with a hexalobular screwdriver.

5. Unhook the metal bracket from the support slot and turn it aside.

6. Pull the pressure control valve out of the plastic tube.
7. Remove the pressure control valve and loosen the plug connection.

8. Remove the earth cable with a hexalobular screwdriver.
>> The pressure control valve has been removed.
Installing the pressure control valve
1. Proceed in reverse order to the step Removing the pressure control valve .
Closing the maintenance cover
1. Close the maintenance cover. Make sure that all metal clips point inwards
when you close the maintenance cover.
2. Tighten the 2 screws.
>> The maintenance cover is closed.
