1. Tonearm assembly
a) Unpack box contents (Figure 1)
Please read the User Manual before
starting to assemble tonearm. Not
following assembly instructions may
permanently damage the tonearm.

b) Take out the tonearm base [2] (Figure
2).

c) Remove the top packaging layer. Put
tonearm base [2] into a hole of package
top layer.
d) Take out all the accessories [3], the top
bearing [4a], the template [9] and a
counterweight [5].
e) Take out the tonearm body [6] tonearm
armtube [7] and frame [8] (Figure 3).

f) Insert armtube [7] into a frame [4]
Needles of the bearings [7a] and [7b]
must be embed in sapphire V cup
(Figure 4).

g) Set an armtube with frame [4] on a
bottom bearing [4b] in tonearm body
[6]. Needle of the bearing [4b] must be
embed in sapphire V cup (Figure 5).

h) Screw out the top bearing [4a] (Figure
3, 6) from bearing protection [4c]. Take
the hex (allen) key [3a] (Figure 6) from
accessories [3] (Figure 3).
i) Srew in a top bearing [4a]. Needle of
the bearing must be embed in sapphire
V cup. Bearing should be screwed in
tight, however do not apply excessive
force. Check if both axis bearings [4a],
[4b] (Figure 5, 6) and [7a], [7b] (Figure
4) are in correct positions.

j) Set armtube [7] in rest position and
fasten it with the screw [6a] (Figure 7).
k) Set tonearm body [6] on the base [2].
Fixing screw [6b] must match with the
groove [2a] in tonearm base. Fix the
screw [6b] with hex (allen) key from
accessories (Figure 8).
l) Fix the screw [6c] on the other side of
tonearm body [6] (Figure 9).

2. Tonearm mounting
a) Attach a cartridge of your choice to
headshell.
b) Put counterweight frame [5c] onto the
holder [5b] and fasten it with the screw
[5a], as shown in Figure 10.
c) Mount the tonearm onto a turntable
using template [9] (Figure 3) and
protractor [1] (Figure 1).
d) On the turntable, mark three tonearm
base mounting holes using Reed
mounting drawing and check the position
with the template (Figure 11).
e) Drill three 4.2 mm holes and thread
them with M5 thread.
f) Fix the armboard in a designated
place using a template (Figure 11).
g) Use protractor [1] (Figure 1) to set
correct cartridge position.
h) Armtube should coincide with the
dashed part on the protractor when
armtube is in rest position (Figure
12).
Be careful while connecting or
disconnecting wire connectors to the
cartridge, because tonearm wiring is
very fragile. For connecting and
disconnecting wires, use tweezers.
Always pull the wire by its connector
and never pull by wire itself.

i) Cartridge should align with the vertical
and horizontal lines and the needle
should point at both zero positions
marked in the protractor. To align the
cartridge use screws [10a] and [10b]
in the headshell cutouts – unscrew
them and slide while the cartridge will
be in correct position with vertical and
horizontal lines and both zero
positions (Figure 13).

WARNING!
Before using your tonearm (making
adjustments or playing LPs) make sure
that bearings of vertical and horizontal
axis - [4a], [4b] and [7a], [7b] are in
correct position (Figure 14).
Failing to set bearings and pivots
correctly may permanently damage the
cartridge, tonearm and LP.

3. Vertical Tracking Force (VTF)
adjustment (Figure 15)
a) Screw counterweight weight [5d] out of
the frame [5c] until front of a
counterweight aligns with frame’s
surface (i.e. it should not stick from a
frame)
b) Set tonearm balance by sliding
counterweight frame [5c] on the holder
[5b].
c) After setting the balance fasten
counterweight frame [5c] with a screw
[5a].
d) Screw in the counterweight weight [5d]
forward by two segments. After VTA
setup (Step 4) finalize VTF using scales.

4. VTA (Vertical Tracking Angle)
adjustment
a) VTA adjustment screw [6d] must be
screwed in and rest in the groove
[2b] in the tonearm base [2]
(Figure 16)
b) Rotate armtube on the record and let
down cartridge.
c) Loosen the tonearm base fixing
screw [2c] with hex (allen) key [3b]
(Figure 16).
d) Adjust armtube height by making it
parallel to the record. To regulate
height, screw in or out VTA
adjustment screw [6d] with hex
(allen) key [3b] (Figure 17).
e) When VTA is adjusted fix tonearm
base [2] with a fixing screw [2c]
(Figure 16).
f) Make sure to check VTF setting using
scales.
g) Lift up the microlift.

5. Antiskating adjustment (Figure 18)
a) Adjust antiskating force (using test
record) by turning the handle [6e].
Antiskating force is increased by turning
handle clockwise and decreases by
turning handle counterclockwise.
b) Antiskating can be adjusted while playing
LP.

6. Azimuth adjustment (Figure 19)
a) If you need to adjust azimuth, hold
the armtube cylinder [7d] and loosen
screw [7c] by using s=1.5mm Allen
key [3c].
b) By carefully turning the armtube [7]
clockwise or counterclockwise adjust
azimuth and tighten fixing screw [7d].
