READ and FOLLOW all instructions and safety messages before using this product.
To prevent serious injury or death.
• Do not lift more than rated capacity.
• Do not operate if damaged or malfunctioning.
• Keep hands and clothing clear of cable drum and ratchet.
• Do not side load, load must be straight line hook to hook.
• Never lift a person or suspend a load above a person.
• Always have at least two full wrap of cable around drum.
• Inspect cable before every use, do not use if damaged.
• Never use a handle extension.
The following items should be inspected prior to each use. If any damage is found, repair before operating the
cable puller.
• Inspect operating mechanism for proper operation and for unusual sound such as but not limited to binding of
the wire rope and bearing squeal.
• Inspect hooks and hook latches for damage.
• Inspect wire rope and connections for damage.
• Inspect hoist lever for bends, cracks or other damage.
• Inspect hoist body for damage.
• Inspect for loose bolts or rivets.
• Inspect for evidence of worn, corroded, cracked, or distorted parts.
• Inspect for evidence of damage to any fasteners used to secure the retaining members.

TO UNREEL CABLE:
Place handle in the forward position and disengage the lever pawl (figure 2) by pushing the thumb control lever
release to the up position (figure 1). Then disengage the retainer pawl by holding the end of the retainer pawl
release tab (figure 3) against the frame allowing the reel to spin freely when the cable is pulled out. Cable length is
6 feet.
TO TIGHTEN CABLE:
Push the thumb control lever release to the down position (figure 4) to engage the lever pawl with ratchet wheel.
Raise handle to tighten cable. Lower handle to ratchet . Repeat as needed.
TO RELEASE CABLE TENSION:
Ensure the load is secured and will not move.!Disengage lever pawl by moving thumb control lever to up position
(figure 1).!Move cable puller handle toward the end with fixed hook, and push handle all the way until the lever
pawl pushes against the retainer pawl.!This will release cable tension one tooth at a time.!Repeat until all tension
is released on the cable.

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Every 6 to 12 months lubricate all moving parts and friction points with a light oil. Wipe down cable with light oil on
a rag to help prevent corrosion.

REESE One (1) year Limited Warranty
1. Warranty. Horizon Global warrants to the original consumer purchaser ("You") that the Product will be
free from defects in material or workmanship for one year from the date of your retail purchase. Horizon
Global makes no other warranties. If the Product does not comply with the Warranty, Horizon Global will
replace the Product without charge and within a reasonable time or, at Horizon Global option, otherwise
refund the purchase price.
2. Limitations on the Warranty. The Warranty does not cover the following: (a) normal wear and tear; (b)
service or labor charges incurred in removing or replacing any Product; (c) the finish on the Product; (d)
a Product that has been damaged through abuse, neglect, misuse or as a result of any accident or in any
other manner; (e) a Product which is misapplied, overloaded, or improperly installed; and (f) a Product
altered in any manner by anyone other than Horizon Global.
3. Obligations of Purchaser. To obtain the benefits of the Warranty, You must promptly present the
defective Product and proof of purchase to Horizon Global, 47912 Halyard Drive, Suite 100, Plymouth,
Michigan 48170 or any of its branches, factories, or authorized dealers listed in local directories. Any
returned Product that is replaced or refunded becomes the property of Horizon Global.
4. Legal Rights. This Warranty gives You specific legal rights, and You also may have other rights which
vary from state to state. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON ANY PRODUCT SHALL BE LIMITED TO ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF
RETAIL PURCHASE BY YOU. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts,
so the above limitation may not apply to You.
5. Remedy Limits. Replacement of the Product or refund in the manner provided above is Your exclusive
remedy and shall constitute fulfillment of all liabilities of Horizon Global to You whether based on
contract or otherwise. Horizon Global shall not be liable or assume responsibility for the loss of the use
of any vehicle, loss of time, rental of vehicles, loss or damage to personal property, expenses such as
gasoline, telephone, lodging, or towing, or any other incidental or consequential damages incurred as a
result of the use or ownership of any Product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to You. Any of
the above remedy limitations shall be inoperative to the extent they are not permitted by applicable state
law.
