Introduction
Refit Cam-Medi is a portable home camera which can provide you with easy monitoring of
ear condition. You need to download and install the ‘RefitCam-Medi’ application from Play
store or App store.
Precautions
Refit Cam-Medi operates in the Android OS smartphones using USB OTG. It can also work
with iOS smartphones by connecting with Refit gateway (SHC-GT1).
Since the battery is not built in, it can be used semi-permanently except for breakdown and
deformation due to mishandling.

How to Use (Android OS Smartphones)
►Download the Refit Cam-Medi application from the Google Play store and install it.
►Connect Refit Cam-Medi USB cable to the micro 5-pin charging terminal of your
smartphone.
►When a pop-up window saying ‘Open RefitCam-Medi’ appears, check the box and click
‘OK’. Then, every time you connect Refit Cam-Medi to your smartphone, RefitCam-Medi
application will start automatically.
►If Refit Cam-Medi is connected to your smartphone properly, the main screen appears
and you are ready to take images and videos.
►If the connection fails and a window saying ‘Connection with RefitCam-Medi failed’ is
displayed, disconnect the Refit Cam-Medi and just reconnect it to your smartphone.
►By pressing the ‘Image Capture’ button on the Refit Cam-Medi, you can easily take a
picture and save a video without touching the screen of your smartphone.
►Place the Refit Cam-Medi on the site to be observed, and check the images on your
smartphone.

How to Use (iOS Smartphones)
►In case of iPhone, you need the Refit gateway (SHC-GT1).
※Refit gateway (SHC-GT1) sold separately
►Connect a power adapter or the output code of a portable battery to the power socket of
the gateway tightly.
►Connect the Refit Cam-Medi to the gateway.
►Find the “REFIT CAM GATEWAY” from the iPhone WiFi search box and activate it. (It takes
about 1~2 minutes depending on communication status.)
►Run the RefitCam-Medi application and see the images on the screen.
How to Use (PC)
►To connect the Refit Cam-Medi to the PC, you must use the Micro B(F)-USB A(M) OTG
conversion gender.
►Download and install VLC player, a video player based on a free open source platform, for
use in a PC environment with Refit Cam-Medi. ( http://www.videolan.org )
►Connect Refit Cam-Medi to the PC and run the VLC player. (On the menu toolbar, select
Media>Open Capture Device, set the video device to ‘Endoscope’ in the device selection
area on the Capture Open Device tab.)
►Press the play button and see the screen.

Displays the image rotation icons.
Rotate 90° Clockwise
Rotates the image on the screen 90° clockwise.
Rotate 90° Counter clockwise
Rotates the image on the screen 90° counterclockwise.

Flip Horizontally
Flips the image on the screen horizontally.
Flip Vertically

Connects gateway and sees the images on the screen.
Storage and Handling Precautions
►Do not use or store the Refit Cam-Medi in direct sunlight or high humidity.
►Do not use the Refit Cam-Medi near fire equipment.
►Do not disassemble or cause impact to the Refit Cam-Medi.
►Be careful not to let water get inside the Refit Cam-Medi, as it may cause malfunction.
Warranty
If the product fails within a year from the date of purchase, it will have one year warranty
period and will be repaired free of charge. When you ask for a repair, you need to mention

about the model and the date of purchase for sufficient services.
※For the following failures, you need to pay for technical supports and replacement parts.
►In case of failure due to customer negligence.
►Dissemble the product for different purposes other than normal standard repair process
at Solmitech.
►In case of damage or failure due to shock.
►Erosion due to storage under water and debris contamination.
►Failure due to natural disaster like fire, earthquake, flood, lighting etc.
►In these events of failure, service technician designated by supplier of the product is not
responsible for repair/renovation.
►In event of power failures caused by over use of the product.
►Other faults recognized as the user’s negligence.
