Listen and watch the colorful light show!
Our new Luminidisk can be activated by the attached tactile capability
switch or voice to watch the wonderful colored patterns flash about to
six different upbeat musical tunes. A toggle switch underneath is
available for you to have vibration on or off. The colorful patterns are
great for increasing visual attention and the voice activation increases
initiation of sounds. There is an external jack for your capability
switch. Size: 12"L x 10"W x 9"H. Requires 8 AA Batteries.
Operation:
1. The Luminidisk requires 8AA batteries. Use alkaline batteries
only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand). Do not use rechargeable
batteries or any other type of batteries because they supply lower
voltage and the unit will not perform properly. Never mix old and
new batteries together or different brands or types together.
2. To install the batteries turn the unit over, using a Philips Head
screwdriver unscrew the battery cover screws, then lift the covers
off. Install AA batteries following proper (+) & (-) battery
placement. Replace battery covers and screws. Turn the
Luminidisk’s ON/OFF switch ON and adjust the volume to an
auditable level.
3. Activating the built in tactile switch or your own external switch
will make the Luminidisk display an amazing multi colored light
show dancing along with the accompanying upbeat music. Each
time you press the switch the music will change. The activation
will play for as long as the switch is activated. Once the switch is
released the Luminidisk will stop The Luminidisk will also work
without the use of a switch, through sound response any nearby
sound, voice, vocalization or music will activate the Luminidisk.
4. For external switch use, plug your external capability switches into
the female 1/8" jack on the Luminidisk. Make sure that all
connections are tight, there should be no gaps.
5. There is also a Vibration feature, to feel vibration when the tactile
switch is activated set the Vibration ON/OFF switch located on the
bottom of the unit to ON. Turn OFF when not in use.
6. When you are finished using the Luminidisk turn the ON/OFF
switch to OFF, this will prevent false activation and help conserve
battery power. Leaving it set to ON will drain the batteries out
completely in a short amount of time.
Troubleshooting:
Problem: The Luminidisk does not work when my switch is
activated.
Action #1: Make sure that you press all connections firmly together.
Any gaps may interrupt electrical connection.
Action #2: Make sure batteries are fresh.
Action #3: Try a different switch with the Luminidisk to rule it out as
the source of the problem.
Problem: The Luminidisk works intermittently.
Action: Replace batteries in the Luminidisk.
Care of Unit:
The Luminidisk can be wiped clean with any mild household multi-
purpose, non-abrasive cleaner and disinfectant. We recommend
Simple Green, which is a non toxic biodegradable all-purpose cleaner.
Do not submerge the unit in any fluids, as it will damage the contents
and the electrical components.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface of the
unit.
