Fitting Instructions for
Gas 210 Boiler Kit
ISSUE 2 - 21/11/01

IMPORTANT NOTE
The boiler must be electrically disconnected before any work is carried out.
Kit Components (Part No. 55795)
1. Flow sensor (strap on)
2. Adaptor plate with harness
3. DHW sensor
4. 2945 C3 K rematic® Control
5. Outside sensor

Release the 4 control panel cover screws and
remove the cover
Release the front panel screws
.
ISSUE 2 - 21/11/01

Raise and tilt the terminal strip assembly locking it
onto the slots on the rear support as shown in
picture
Fit the adapter plate onto the lower assembly using
the 4 screws supplied
Mount the outside sensor in a sheltered position on
a north facing wall - wire back to boiler (max 100M)
Fit flow sensor (only required for multiple boilers)
on the common flow pipework
Fit DHW sensor into calorifier if DHW is being
controlled by the the rematic® 2945 C3 K control
unit
Connect sensors onto the adapter plate as detailed
in the accompanying instructions
Note: sensor cables must be screened if run with
power cables (ensure screen is earthed)
Find plugs K1 and K2 in the control panel wiring
and fit the matching K1 and K2 plugs on the
adapter plate harness

Lower terminal assembly back into place and
secure
Re-fit front panel screws
Using a Stanley knife cut out the plastic facia from
the control housing opening (follow the metal
backing ) and discard
Take the remaining 4 plug units on the adapter
plate harness and feed through the opening.
Insert the plugs (two black, one green and one
grey) into positions P3,P2,P11 and P12 in the back
of the rematic® 2945 C3 K control unit
Fit the rematic® 2945 C3 K control unit into the
opening, securing it with the two locking screws
(quarter turn latches) located under the control
cover plate
Replace the control panel cover and secure
Re-establish power supply to boiler and set up the
rematic® 2945 C3 K control unit in accordance
with the supplied instructions and building design
parameters.
Check that boiler interface selection Code A is
set to 31 (standard default).
If multiple boilers are connected to the control
ensure that the dip switches are set in accordance
with instructions
Place instructions in the pocket at rear of boiler.

## Optional ZRA 3601 sensor - Part No 50679
If a heating extension timer is required a volt free switch
arrangement (electrical or clockwork controlled) can be connected
across terminals 36 / 37 in series with a 1.5k resistor as shown.
Close the switch and the heating will run continuous on day time
compensation (as set on the controller). Open the switch and
control will revert to the set timed function.
