Assembly
Attention, important!
When in doubt about how to install the device correctly, please contact an
expert or a specialist workshop and let them carry it out !
A suitable measurement instrument is required for the optimum set-up of the
satellite antenna with the inserted LNB for digital TV/radio reception.
Install the LNB to the corresponding bracket (feed horn) of your satellite antenna. The
bracket must have an opening diameter of 40 mm.
The round side of the LNB must point towards the satellite antenna. Furthermore,
make sure that the LNB connectors point down.
An angle indicator is located on the side of the LNB. Depending on your lo-
cation and the satellite to be received, the LNB must be rotated accordingly.
Connection
The outputs of the Quattro LNB must be connected to a suitable multiswitch. Always
pay attention to the correct pin assignment of the connectors. The assignment of the
LNB outputs is indicated next to the sockets.
L/V lower frequency range (low band), vertical polarisation
H/V upper frequency range (high band), vertical polarisation
L/H lower frequency range (low band), horizontal polarisation
H/H upper frequency range (high band), horizontal polarisation
Direct connection to an output of the Quattro LNB to a SAT receiver is not
possible (in this case, only some of the stations would be available).
The multiswitch you use must support a Quattro LNB.
When connecting the LNB to the multiswitch, use a suitable antenna cable and
F-plugs.
A high-quality, double-shielded antenna cable that is suitable for satellite
signals must always be used so that the LNB signals can be transferred.
If the cable between the LNB and the multiswitch is very long, make sure
that the cable has a low attenuation.
The F-plugs used for connection to the LNB must be suitable for operation
outdoors so that moisture cannot get in.
Slide the plastic weather protection cover of the LNB over the four F-plugs. This will
protect them from precipitation.
Disposal
The product must not be disposed of in the household waste.
Please dispose of the product at the end of its service life according to the
current statutory requirements.

Intended use
The product is intended for installation in a LNB bracket (Ø 40 mm) of a satellite an-
tenna and is used there to receive suitable digital satellite signals (TV, radio).
The product is especially intended for connection to a suitable multiswitch; direct con-
nection to a SAT receiver is not possible.
Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included in these op-
erating instructions.

Montage
Attention, important !
Au cas où vous ne disposez pas des connaissances techniques requises
pour le montage, confiez-le à un spécialiste ou un atelier spécialisé !
En vue du réglage optimal de l’antenne satellite avec le LNB intégré pour la
réception TV/radio numérique, il faut un appareil de mesure approprié.
Montez le LNB sur le support correspondant (diamètre) à votre antenne satellite. La
fixation doit avoir un diamètre d’ouverture de 40 mm.
Le côté rond du LNB doit être orienté vers l’antenne satellite. Par ailleurs, il convient
de veiller à ce que les raccordements du LNB soient situés vers le bas.
Sur le côté du LNB se trouve un affichage des degrés. Le LNB doit être
tourné en fonction du lieu de votre domicile et du satellite de réception.
Raccordement
Les sorties du Quattro-LNB doivent être reliées à un connecteur multiple approprié.
Ici, veillez impérativement à la bonne affectation des connecteurs. L’affectation des
sorties du LNB est indiquée à côté des prises.

H/V plage de fréquences supérieure (High-Band), polarisation verticale
L/H plage de fréquences inférieure (Low-Band), polarisation horizontale

Le raccordement direct d’une sortie du Quattro-LNB à un récepteur SAT
n’est pas possible (dans ce cas, seule une partie des stations serait dispo-
nible).
Le connecteur multiple que vous utilisez doit prendre en charge Quattro-LNB.
Pour le raccordement du LNB à un connecteur multiple veuillez utiliser un câble d’an-
tenne approprié et une fiche F correspondante.
Pour que les signaux du LNB soient transmis de manière optimale, il convient
d’utiliser impérativement un câble d’antenne de haute qualité à double blin-
dage et supportant les signaux de satellite.
Si le câble entre le LNB et le récepteur SAT est très long, veillez à ce que
l’atténuation du câble soit faible.
Les fiches F utilisées pour le raccordement au LNB doivent convenir pour
l’utilisation à l’extérieur et être conçus de sorte que l’humidité ne puisse pas
y pénétrer.
Glissez la protection plastique contre les intempéries sur les quatre fiches F du LNB.
Cela protège par ailleurs contre les précipitations.
Élimination
Le produit ne doit pas être jeté dans les ordures ménagères.
Il convient de procéder à l’élimination du produit au terme de sa durée de vie
conformément aux prescriptions légales en vigueur.

Montage
Let op, belangrijk!
Indien u geen vakkennis bezit voor de montage, dan laat dit over aan een
vakman of een gekwalificeerde reparatiedienst!
Voor het optimaal instellen van een satellietantenne met hierin geplaatste
LNB voor digitaal tv-/radio-ontvangst is een geschikte meter nodig.
Monteer de LNB aan de betreffende houder (feed-opname) van uw satellietantenne.
De houder moet hiervoor over een openingsdoorsnede van 40 mm beschikken.
De ronde kant van de LNB moet in de richting van de satellietantenne wijzen. Let er
bovendien op, dat de aansluitingen van de LNB naar onderen moeten liggen.
Aan de kant van de LNB bevindt zich een gradenaanduiding. Afhankelijk van
uw woonplaats en de te ontvangen satelliet, moet de LNB worden gedraaid.
Aansluiten
De uitgangen van de Quattro-LNB moeten met een geschikte multi-switch worden
verbonden. Let absoluut op de juiste indeling van de aansluitingen. De bezetting van
de uitgangen van de LNB is weergegeven naast de connectors.
L/V onderste frequentiebereik (Low-Band), verticale polarisatie
H/V bovenste frequentiebereik (High-Band), verticale polarisatie
L/H onderste frequentiebereik (Low-Band), horizontale polarisatie

Een directe aansluiting van een uitgang van de Quattro-LNB aan een satel-
lietontvanger is niet mogelijk (hier zou steeds alleen een deel van de zender
ter beschikking staan).
De door u gebruikte multi-switch moet een Quattro-LNB ondersteunen.
Gebruik voor het aansluiten van de LNB aan de multi-switch een geschikte anten-
nekabel en juiste F-stekkers.
Om de signalen van de LNB optimaal verder te kunnen leiden, moet absoluut
een hoogwaardige, voor satellietsignalen geschikte, dubbel afgeschermde
antennekabel worden gebruikt.
Wanneer de kabel tussen de LNB en de multi-switch zeer lang is, let er dan
op dat de kabel over een lage demping beschikt.
De voor de aansluiting aan de LNB gebruikte F-stekkers moeten geschikt zijn
voor gebruik buitenshuis, opdat er geen vocht kan binnendringen.
Schuif de weersbeschermende kunststofafdekking van de LNB over de vier F-stek-
kers. Deze beschermt de stekkers voor neerslag.
Verwijdering
Het product hoort niet bij het huishoudelijk afval.
Voer het product aan het einde van zijn levensduur conform de geldende
wettelijke voorschriften af.

Het product is bedoeld voor montage aan de LNB-houder van een satelliet-antenne en
dient hier voor de ontvangst van geschikte digitale satellietsignalen (tv, radio).
Het product is speciaal bedoeld voor het aansluiten aan een geschikte multi-switch,
de directe aansluiting aan een satellietontvanger is niet mogelijk.

gebruikt, om de LNB aan een satellietantenne te monteren. Gebruik alleen
het juiste gereedschap voor de montage en aansluiting.
Laat in geval van twijfel de montage- en aansluitwerkzaamheden aan een
vakman over!
• Laat het verpakkingsmateriaal niet rondslingeren, dit kan voor kinderen
gevaarlijk speelgoed zijn.
• Behandel het product voorzichtig; door stoten, schokken of een val - zelfs
van geringe hoogte - kan het beschadigd raken.
