b) Laser
• When operating the laser equipment, always make sure that the laser beam is
directed so that no one is in the projection area and that unintentionally reected
beams (e.g. from reective objects) cannot be directed into areas where people
are present.
• Laser radiation can be dangerous if the laser beam or its reection enters
unprotected eyes. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with the statutory
regulations and instructions for operating this type of laser device.
• Never look into the laser beam or point it at people or animals. Laser radiation can
seriously damage your eyes.
• If laser radiation enters your eyes, close your eyes immediately and move your
head away from the beam.
• If your eyes have been irritated by laser radiation, do not continue to carry out
tasks with safety implications, such as working with machines, working from
heights or working close to high voltages. Do not drive any vehicles until the
irritation has completely subsided.
• Do not point the laser beam at mirrors or other reective surfaces. The uncontrolled,
reected beam may strike people or animals.
• Never open the device. Conguration or maintenance tasks must only be
completed by a trained specialist who is familiar with the potential hazards.
Improper maintenance work may result in dangerous laser radiation.
• The product is equipped with a class 2 laser. Laser signs in different languages
are included in the packaging. If the sign on the laser is not in your local language,
attach the appropriate sign to the laser.

c) Rechargeable batteries
• The battery is integrated into the product and cannot be changed.
• Never damage the battery. Damaging the casing of the rechargeable battery may
cause it to explode or catch re!
• Never short-circuit the battery contacts/connections. Do not throw the battery or
the product into open ames. This may cause a re or explosion!
• Charge the battery regularly, even when you are not using the product. You do not
need to discharge the battery before recharging it.
• Never leave the battery unattended when it is charging.
• Place the product on a heat-resistant surface when charging the battery. The
product may become warm when the battery is charging.

Midpoint Presenter RF-MP-100

Intended use
The midpoint presenter is designed to point out details on objects and display boards. It
features a keyboard function and is powered by a built-in lithium rechargeable battery. The
USB dongle is powered via the USB interface. Do not use any other power source. The USB
dongle that comes with the midpoint presenter can be used to control a range of functions for
presentation software.
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture (e.g.
in bathrooms) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the
product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition,
improper use can cause hazards such as a short circuit or re. Read the instructions carefully
and store them in a safe place. Only make this product available to third parties together with
its operating instructions.

a) General information
• The product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a
dangerous toy for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, ammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed

Setup
a) Charging the internal battery
Charge the battery before using the product for the rst time.
The LED indicator (3) ashes red when there is insufcient battery power remaining. When this
occurs, follow the steps below to recharge the battery:
• Insert the micro USB plug on the USB cable into the micro USB charging port (1) on the
product.
• Connect the USB-A connector on the micro USB cable to a USB port on a computer or
another suitable USB power source, such as a USB power adapter.
• The LED indicator (3) will ash red/blue to indicate that the battery is charging. After a few
minutes, the LED indicator will switch to constant blue to indicate that the battery status
is no longer critically low. Depending on the remaining battery level, the battery takes
approximately 2 hours to charge.
• An overcharging function prevents the battery from overcharging. Charging stops
automatically when the battery voltage is greater than 4.25 V.
• Disconnect the product from the USB power source when the battery is fully charged. The
device is now fully charged and ready for use.
b) Connecting the midpoint presenter to a computer/presentation program
• The midpoint presenter supports the button (previous page)/ button (next page), Start/
ESC, Black Screen and volume buttons with MS Powerpoint, Apple® Keynote and Google
Slides. In Google Slides you can only use the (previous page), (next page) and ESC
buttons.
• Remove the USB dongle (10) from the midpoint presenter.
• Connect the USB dongle (10) to a USB port on the computer that you want to use to control
the presentation.
• Launch your presentation software. Open the desired presentation le.
The power supply is automatically switched off when the USB dongle (10) is inserted
into the midpoint presenter.
c) Button functions
• Press and hold the laser button (4) to switch the laser on. Release the laser button to switch
the laser off. The LED indicator (3) turns red when the laser is switched on.
• Use the button (previous page) (6) to go to the previous page in the presentation.
• Use the button (next page) (8) to go to the next page in the presentation.
• Use the Play/ESC button (9) to start or stop a presentation.
• Press the + button (5) (increase volume) to increase the volume of the connected device.
• Press the - button (decrease volume) (7) to reduce the volume of the connected device.
d) Switching channels/re-establishing the wireless connection
You only need to perform this step when the wireless connection between the laser pointer and
the computer (via the USB dongle (10)) is interrupted. Proceed as follows:
• Insert the USB dongle (10) into the USB port on your computer within the 20-second standby
time.
• Press the (previous page) (6) and (next page) (8) buttons at the same time for about 2
seconds until the red LED indicator ashes twice.
• This indicates that the connection has been successfully re-established.
Care and cleaning
• Always disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning it.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may
damage the housing or cause the product to malfunction.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.

b) Laser
• Lors de l’utilisation du dispositif laser, veillez impérativement à diriger le rayon
laser de façon à ce que personne ne puisse se trouver dans sa zone de projection
ou être atteint par des rayons rééchis de façon involontaire (par ex., par le biais
d’objets rééchissants).
• Le rayonnement laser peut être dangereux si le rayon ou une réexion atteignent
un œil non protégé. Par conséquent, avant de mettre en marche le dispositif

c) Accumulateurs
• La batterie est intégrée au produit, elle n’est pas remplaçable.

Utilisation prévue
Le pointeur pour présentation permet de mettre en évidence des détails sur des objets, des
panneaux de présentation et d’autres dispositifs similaires et dispose d'une fonction clavier.
Le pointeur pour présentation est alimenté par un accu au lithium intégré. Durant l’utilisation,
le dongle USB est alimenté via l'interface USB. N'utilisez aucune autre source d'alimentation.
Associé au pointeur pour présentation, un dongle USB vous permet de commander différentes
fonctions des programmes de présentation.
L'utilisation est uniquement autorisée en intérieur, dans des locaux fermés ; l'utilisation en
plein air est interdite. Tout contact avec l'humidité (par ex. dans une salle de bain) est à éviter
absolument.
Pour des raisons de sécurité et d'homologation, toute transformation et/ou modication du
produit est interdite. Si vous utilisez le produit à d’autres ns que celles décrites précédemment,
vous risquez de l’endommager. Par ailleurs, une utilisation incorrecte peut être source de

Mise en service
a) Recharge de la batterie intégrée
L’accumulateur de l’appareil doit être entièrement chargé avant la première
utilisation.
Si le niveau de charge n’est pas sufsant, le témoin de contrôle LED (3) s’allume en rouge.
Rechargez l’accu dans les meilleurs délais. Pour recharger l’accu, procédez dans les deux cas
de la manière suivante :
• Raccordez le connecteur micro USB du câble USB fourni au port de charge micro USB (1)
du produit.
• Reliez le connecteur USB A du câble micro USB au port USB d’un ordinateur ou de toute
autre source d’alimentation USB, comme par exemple un bloc d’alimentation USB.
• Le clignotement du témoin de contrôle LED (3) en rouge/bleu indique la recharge de l’accu
interne. Après quelques minutes, la LED reste allumée en bleu uniquement. Ceci indique
que le niveau de charge n’est plus à un niveau faible critique. En fonction de l'état de charge
initial, la recharge dure environ 2 heures.
• Une fonction anti-surcharge protège l'appareil contre la surcharge. L’appareil s'éteint dès que
la tension de l'accu dépasse 4,25 V.
• Débranchez le produit de la source d'alimentation USB lorsque la recharge est terminée.
L’appareil est maintenant entièrement rechargé et prêt à l’emploi.
b) Connexion du pointeur pour présentation avec un ordinateur/programme
de présentation
• Le pointeur pour présentation prend en charge les fonctions des touches (page
précédente)/ (page suivante), Start/ESC, écran noir et le réglage du volume sonore
avec MS Powerpoint, Apple® Keynote et Google Slides. Dans Google Slides vous pouvez
uniquement utiliser les fonctions des touches (page précédente), (page suivante) et
ESC.
• Retirez le dongle USB (10) du pointeur pour présentation.
• Connectez le dongle USB (10) à un port USB de l'ordinateur à partir duquel la présentation
sera lancée.
• Démarrez le programme de présentation. Ouvrez le chier de présentation souhaité.
Dès que le dongle USB (10) est inséré dans le pointeur pour présentation,
l'alimentation de l'appareil s’interrompt automatiquement.
c) Fonctions des touches
• Maintenez la touche laser (4) enfoncée pour allumer le laser et relâchez-la pour l’éteindre. Le
témoin de contrôle LED (3) s'allume en rouge tant que le laser est activé.
• La touche (page précédente) (6) permet de passer à la page précédente de la présentation.
• La touche (page suivante) (8) permet de passer à la page suivante de la présentation.
• La touche Play/ESC (9) permet de lire ou d’arrêter une présentation.
• Appuyez sur la touche + (5) (augmenter le volume) pour augmenter le volume de l'appareil
connecté.
• Appuyez sur la touche - (diminuer le volume) (7) pour réduire le volume de l'appareil connecté.
d) Changement de canal/ reconnexion
Cette action n'est nécessaire que si la connexion sans l entre le pointeur laser et l’ordinateur
sur lequel le dongle USB (10) est branché est interrompue. Rétablissez la connexion comme
suit :
• Branchez le dongle USB (10) durant le délai de veille de 20 secondes dans le port USB de
l'ordinateur.
• Appuyez sur les touches (page précédente)(6) et (page suivante) (8) simultanément
pendant environ 2 secondes jusqu'à ce que le témoin de contrôle LED clignote deux fois en
rouge pour conrmer l’action.
• La connexion est rétablie avec succès.
Entretien et nettoyage
• Débranchez toujours le produit avant de le nettoyer.
• N'utilisez en aucun cas des produits de nettoyage abrasifs, de l'alcool ou d’autres produits
chimiques pour le nettoyage : cela risquerait d'endommager le boîtier voire même de
provoquer des dysfonctionnements.
• Pour nettoyer le produit, utilisez un chiffon sec et non pelucheux.

b) Laser
• Bij gebruik van de laser dient er altijd op te worden gelet dat de laserstraal zo
wordt geleid dat niemand zich in het projectiebereik bevindt en dat onbedoeld
gereecteerde stralen (bijv. door reecterende voorwerpen) niet in ruimtes komen
waarin zich personen bevinden.
• Laserstralen kunnen gevaarlijk zijn als de laserstraal of een reectie daarvan
onbeschermd in uw ogen komt. Informeer uzelf daarom voordat u het laserapparaat
in werking stelt over de wettelijke bepalingen en voorzorgsmaatregelen betreffende
de werking van een dergelijk laserapparaat.
• Kijk nooit in de laserstraal en richt deze nooit op personen of dieren. Laserstralen
kunnen oogletsel tot gevolg hebben.
• Zodra uw oog wordt getroffen door een laserstraal, meteen de ogen sluiten en uw
hoofd wegdraaien van de straal.
• Als uw ogen geïrriteerd zijn door laserstralen, voer dan in geen geval meer
veiligheidsrelevante werkzaamheden uit, bijvoorbeeld werken met machines,
werken op grote hoogte of in de buurt van hoogspanning. Bestuur ook geen
voertuigen meer totdat de irritaties zijn verdwenen.
• Richt de laserstraal nooit op spiegels of andere reecterende oppervlakken. Een
ongecontroleerd afgebogen straal zou personen of dieren kunnen raken.
• Open het apparaat nooit. Uitsluitend een geschoolde vakman, die vertrouwd is met
de gevaren, mag instel- of onderhoudswerkzaamheden uitvoeren. Ondeskundig
uitgevoerd instelwerk kan gevaarlijke laserstraling tot gevolg hebben.
• Het product is voorzien van een klasse 2 laser. In de levering bevinden zich
laserwaarschuwingsbordjes in verschillende talen. Indien het bordje op de laser
niet in uw landstaal is, bevestig dan het juiste bordje op de laser.

• Voorzichtig - als er andere dan de in deze handleiding vermelde besturingen of
methodes worden gebruikt, kan dit tot gevaarlijke blootstelling aan straling leiden.
c) Accu’s
• De accu is vast ingebouwd in het product en kan niet worden vervangen.
• Beschadig de accu nooit. Een beschadiging van het omhulsel van de accu kan
explosiegevaar of brand veroorzaken!
• Sluit de contacten/aansluitpunten van de accu nooit kort. Gooi de accu of het
product nooit in het vuur. Er bestaat gevaar op brand en explosie!
• Laad de accu regelmatig op, zelfs wanneer u het product niet gebruikt. Door de in
de accu toegepaste technologie hoeft u de accu niet eerst te ontladen.
• Laad de accu van het product nooit zonder toezicht op.
• Plaats het product tijdens het laden op een oppervlak dat niet hittegevoelig is. Een
zekere opwarming tijdens het laden is normaal.

Ingebruikname
a) Opladen van de interne accu
De accu van het product dient voor de eerste ingebruikname te worden opgeladen.
Als de accu niet meer voldoende is geladen, knippert de led-indicator (3) rood. Laad de accu
dan weer op. Ga voor het laden als volgt te werk:

Doelmatig gebruik
De Midpoint Presenter dient voor het accentueren van details op voorwerpen, presentatieborden
etc. en is daarnaast een mobiele bediening voor de software. De Midpoint Presenter werkt op
een ingebouwde lithium-accu. De USB-dongle wordt tijdens gebruik via de USB-poort van
stroom voorzien. Gebruik geen andere energiebronnen. Via de bijbehorende USB-dongle
kunnen met de Midpoint Presenter verschillende functies van presentatieprogramma's worden
aangestuurd.
Het product is alleen bedoeld voor gebruik in gesloten ruimtes dus gebruik buitenshuis is niet
toegestaan. Contact met vocht, bijv. in badkamers dient absoluut te worden vermeden.
In verband met veiligheid en normering zijn aanpassingen en/of wijzigingen aan dit product
niet toegestaan. Indien het product voor andere doeleinden wordt gebruikt dan de hiervoor
beschreven doeleinden, kan het product worden beschadigd. Bovendien kan bij verkeerd
gebruik een gevaarlijke situatie ontstaan zoals bijv. kortsluiting, brand, enz. Lees de
gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig door en bewaar deze goed. Geef het product alleen samen met
de gebruiksaanwijzing door aan derden.

Veiligheidsinstructies
Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig door en let vooral op de
veiligheidsinstructies. Indien u de veiligheidsinstructies en de aanwijzingen
voor een juiste bediening in deze gebruiksaanwijzing niet opvolgt, kunnen
wij niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld voor de daardoor ontstane schade
aan personen of voorwerpen. Bovendien vervalt in dergelijke gevallen de

a) Algemeen
• Het product is geen speelgoed. Houd het buiten bereik van kinderen en huisdieren.
• Laat verpakkingsmateriaal niet achteloos rondslingeren. Dit kan gevaarlijk
materiaal worden voor spelende kinderen.
• Bescherm het product tegen extreme temperaturen, direct zonlicht, sterke
schokken, hoge vochtigheid, vocht, ontvlambare gassen, dampen en
oplosmiddelen.
• Stel het product niet bloot aan welke mechanische belasting dan ook.
• Als het niet langer mogelijk is het product veilig te gebruiken, stel het dan buiten
bedrijf en zorg ervoor dat niemand het per ongeluk kan gebruiken. Veilig gebruik
kan niet langer worden gegarandeerd wanneer het product:
-zichtbaar is beschadigd,
-niet meer naar behoren werkt,
-tijdens een langere periode is opgeslagen onder slechte omstandigheden, of
- onderhevig is geweest aan ernstige vervoergerelateerde belastingen.
• Behandel het product met zorg. Schokken, stoten of zelfs vallen vanaf een geringe
hoogte kunnen het product beschadigen.
• Neem ook de veiligheidsinstructies en gebruiksaanwijzingen van alle andere
apparaten in acht die met het product zijn verbonden.
• Raadpleeg een expert wanneer u twijfelt over het juiste gebruik, de veiligheid of
het aansluiten van het product.
• Laat onderhoud, aanpassingen en reparaties alleen uitvoeren door een vakman of

• Sluit de mini USB-stekker van de meegeleverde USB-kabel aan op de mini USB-poort (1)
van het product.
• Sluit de USB A-stekker van de micro USB-kabel aan op een USB-aansluiting van uw
computer of een andere USB-stroombron, zoals bijvoorbeeld een USB-netspanningsadapter.
• Het knipperen van de led-indicator (3) in rood en oranje toont aan dat de interne accu wordt
opgeladen. Na enkele minuten gaat dit over in blauw. Dit geeft aan dat het laadniveau weer
hoger is dan het kritieke lage niveau. Afhankelijk van de laadtoestand duurt het opladen
ongeveer 2 uur.
• Het apparaat is voorzien van een bescherming tegen overladen. Het opladen wordt
uitgeschakeld zodra de accuspanning hoger is dan 4,25 V.
• Ontkoppel het product van de USB-stroombron zodra de accu volledig is opgeladen. Het
product is nu volledig opgeladen en gereed voor gebruik.
b) Midpoint Presenter met computer/presentatieprogramma verbinden
• De Midpoint Presenter ondersteunt de functies van de knop (vorige pagina)/knop
(volgende pagina), start/ESC, zwart scherm, volume-instelling bij MS-Powerpoint, Apple®
Keynote en Google Slides. In Google Slides kunt u alleen de functies van de knop (vorige
pagina) en knop (volgende pagina) en ESC bedienen.
• Trek de USB-dongle (10) los van de Midpoint Presenter af.
• Sluit de USB-dongle (10) vervolgens aan op een USB-poort van de computer waarvan de
presentatie dient te worden gestuurd.
• Start uw presentatieprogramma. Open de gewenste presentatie.
Zodra de USB-dongle (10) in de Midpoint Presenter wordt gestoken, wordt de
stroomvoorziening van het apparaat automatisch onderbroken.
c) Toetsfuncties
• Het drukken en vasthouden van de laserknop (4) schakelt de laser in en bij het loslaten weer
uit. De led-indicatie (3) brandt rood zolang de laser geactiveerd is.
• De knop (vorige pagina) (6) schakelt een pagina in de presentatie terug.
• De knop (volgende pagina) (8) schakelt een pagina in de presentatie vooruit.
• De knop Play/ESC (9) begint een presentatie af te spelen of te stoppen.
• Druk op de + knop (5) (volume verhogen) om het volume van het aangesloten apparaat te
verhogen.
• Druk op de - knop (volume verlagen) (7) om het volume van het aangesloten apparaat te
verlagen.
d) Kanalen schakelen/opnieuw verbinden
Deze handeling is alleen nodig als de radioverbinding tussen de laserpointer en de via USB-
dongle aangesloten computer (10) is onderbroken. Ga voor het herstellen van de verbinding
als volgt te werk:
• Steek de USB-dongle (10) binnen de 20 seconden stand-by-tijd in de USB-poort van de
computer.
• Druk de knop (vorige pagina)(6) en de knop (volgende pagina) (8) tegelijkertijd in
gedurende ca. 2 seconden tot het rode led-controlelampje tweemaal knippert.
• De verbinding is weer hersteld.
Reiniging en onderhoud
• Verbreek voor iedere reiniging de verbinding met de stroomvoorziening.
• Gebruik in geen geval agressieve reinigingsmiddelen, reinigingsalcohol of andere chemische
producten omdat de behuizing beschadigd of de werking zelfs belemmerd kan worden.
• Gebruik een droog, pluisvrij doekje voor de reiniging van het product.
