RS Door Pulls

warranty voids or damage resulting from the use of these products. Due to the varying location of wiring harnesses and
other components, carefully inspect any area prior to drilling. All Rennline products are intended for off road use only and
should be installed by a qualified automotive technician.
Check to make sure you have all parts listed prior to installation.

1. Remove the door card from the car door.
2. Remove the handle assembly retaining frame from the door card by using a 3/8”drill bit to drill the heads o of the rivets circled in red in picture 1.
3. Carefully release the handle assembly from the door trim strip. There are two small clips behind the trim that hold it to the handle assembly. It may be
necessary to drill out the trim rivets circled in green to be able to get to these clips. Replacement hardware is provided for all (6) rivets.
4. Pry the lever retaining pin out of the plastic handle assembly from the bottom ry lever will not be needed.

4. Carefully use a 3/32”drill bit to drill out each support that used to have a rivet. Be careful to center bit and not to drill through the front of the handle
assembly on the holes circled in photo 4. The other two studs can be drilled straight through as will be covered with the trim and new fascia.
5. If you needed to drill out the trim rivets in step 3, you must shorten the studs so the provided hardware can pull the trim strip ush with the handle
assembly and door card. Carefully use a le, cuto wheel or similar to shorten the studs and drill the centers out with the same 3/32” drill bit.
6. Using a cut o wheel, hack saw blade, Jig saw or equivalent, cut the plastic assembly as shown in photo 5 and 6. This is just a clearance slot for the new
strap lever so it does not need to be pretty.
7. Install the provided pivot bracket and pull strap as shown in pictures 7 and 8 using the factory pins.
8. Actuate the handle a few times to make sure that there are no clearance issues, make adjustments as needed.

9. Place the front facia plate into the plastic housing. Mark and drill the three mounting holes using a 3/16” drill bit as shown in photo 9. Secure the facia
plate using the supplied truss head screws. Note: leave all three screws loose until desired facia position is achieved.
10. Install handle back into door panel and trim strip. See pictures 10 and 11 for replacement hardware locations.
11. Re-install the handle assembly into door card and the door card into the car.
9. With the windows down, open and close the door a few times using the new handles to conrm that everything is working properly.
