1 About this document
1.1 Purpose of this document
The Operating Instructions (OI) are an integral part of the
product and provide all the information required to ensure cor-
rect and safe operation.
1.2 Using this document
uRead these operating instructions carefully before operating
the unit.
uKeep these instructions with the vessel.
uHand these instructions onto the next owner or user of the
unit.
1.3 Use of symbols and highlighting
CAUTION
This signal word denotes a hazard with a low degree of
risk which, if not avoided, will lead to minor or moder-
ate injury.
NOTE
This signal word denotes a Special Technical Feature or
(if not observed) potential damage to the product.
Refers to separate documents which are enclosed or
can be requested from Webasto.

Webasto shall not assume liability for defects or damage that
are the result of the installation and operating instructions being
disregarded. This liability exclusion particularly applies to:
nInstallation by untrained personnel
nImproper use
nRepairs not carried out by a Webasto service workshop
nUse of non-genuine parts
nConversion of the unit without permission from Webasto
nMechanical damage to the equipment
nNon-compliance with inspection and maintenance instruc-
tions
2 Safety
2.1 Intended use
The door moving system is used to open and close doors on
Pascoe Tenders vessels.
2.2 Safety information
Description
Do not use the sliding roof as an escape hatch!
Ensure that another hatch is accessible for emer-
gencies.
When you close the doors, make sure to keep all
body parts and/or obstructions away from the
opening to prevent injury.
CAUTION
Possible damage due to weather conditions and /
or speed
uClose the doors at:
-Speeds of above 40kts
-A sea state of more than 1m
-At wind speeds of more than 16kts (4Bf)

switch. The installed control switch can be different.
4 Operation
4.1 Opening the doors

The doors open as long as the button is pressed.
üMain power supply is switched on.
uPush and hold the open button to open the doors.
uRelease the button when the doors have reached the de-
sired position.
4.2 Closing the doors

5 Maintenance
CAUTION
Cleaning agents may contain harmful components
Damage to product.
uNever use solvents such as:
-Methylated spirits
-Turpentine
-White spirit
-Window cleaning products
-Alkaline products containing sodium solutions
-Muriatic acid or products containing phosphor
CAUTION
Dry materials cause damage to the door system
uNever rub the dry surface of the roof.
uNever use steel wool, abrasives or sandpaper.
CAUTION
High pressure cleaners can cause damage to the
door system
uNever use a high pressure cleaner to clean the door.
Regular maintenance of the door makes cleaning easier and en-
sures smooth operation.
5.1 Cleaning
uWash the door with clean, lukewarm water and a soft
brush.
5.2 Greasing
uClean the inside of the guides.

uApply a thin layer of grease (Isoflex® Topas L32) the inside
of the guides.
6 Trouble shooting
Symptom Possible cause Possible solution
The door does not
open / close.
No power or low
power.
Check the battery.
Broken fuse. Replace fuse.
Motor does not op-
erate properly.
Open or close the
door manually ac-

Poor opening / clos-
ing of the door.
Polluted guides. Clean the inside of
the guides.
Apply a thin layer of
grease to the inside
of the guides.
The door still does

smoothly after

7 Manual operation
If necessary, the doors can be operated manually. It depends on
the situation which procedure for manual operation you must
follow.
Both doors can be moved individually.
7.1 Manually moving the door over a
short range (less than 25 cm)
uGain access to the desired motor assembly.

uInsert the tool for manual operation in the slot in the motor.
uTurn the tool to close or open the door.
7.2 Manually moving the door over
more than 25 cm
CAUTION
Watch out for entrapment
uGain access to the desired motor assembly.

uDisconnect the wiring harness (2) from the motor (1).
uRemove the 3 nuts and washers (3) from the motor.
uRemove the motor.

uPush the door to the desired (open or closed) position.
7.3 Reset
After manual operation you must reset the control system.
Reset the system as follows:
üMake sure a power source of at least 12V/20A per side is
available.

uPress and hold the close button.
– The door closes as far as possible.
uRelease the close button.
uPress and hold the close button again.
– After approx.. 10s, the door closes with small steps until
completely closed.
– The motor produces a loud click sound.
uRelease the close button.
– The system has been reset.
