Introduction
Th SAKP E Wir fr R mot K ypad
is d sign d for us
with R spons Wir fr Intrud r Alarm syst ms op rating
on 433MHz only
.
Th Wir l ss K ypad is us d to control th syst m by using
a four digit Us r Acc ss Cod . Th K ypad incorporat s
Panic and anti-tamp r prot ction f atur s that will
imm diat ly initiat a Full Alarm condition wh n activat d.
Any att mpt to op n th casing of th K ypad will
imm diat ly initiat a Full Alarm condition v n if th
syst m is disarm d, (unl ss th syst m is in S rvic , T st or
Programming mod s). In addition if a s qu nc of mor
than 16 incorr ct k y pr ss s is nt r d th K ypad will b
disabl d for th n xt 1 minut . During this 1 minut duration
th LED will k p flashing slowly. Cons cutiv ly disabl d
for 3 tim s, th K ypad will mit th tamp r signal to th
Control Pan l.
Th K ypad’s Us r Acc ss Cod is ind p nd nt from any
acc ss cod s us d with a Control Pan l.
Th K ypad is pow r d by a 9V PP3 Alkalin batt ry. Und r
normal op rating conditions this will provid an xp ct d lif
in xc ss of 1 y ar. Wh n th batt ry l v l falls b low an
acc ptabl l v l, th “LOW BATTERY” indicator on th front
of th K ypad will flash. Wh n this occurs th batt ry should
b r plac d as soon as possibl .
Positioning the Keypad
Th K ypad is rat d IP44 and suitabl for mounting
outdoors. Th K ypad should b mount d in a position
clos to th main ntranc door so that th us r acc ss
cod can b nt r d asily.
Ensur that th position s l ct d for th K ypad is within
th ff ctiv rang of th Sir n or Control Pan l.
Note: DO NOT fix th K ypad to m talwork or locat th
unit within 1m of m talwork (i. . radiators, wat r pip s, tc)
as this could aff ct th radio rang of th K ypad.
Insta ing and Configuring
the Keypad
If you hav a syst m with a Control Pan l, nsur it is in
T st or Programming Mod . If you hav a syst m without a
Control Pan l, nsur that th Sir n is in S rvic mod .
1. Undo and r mov th fixing scr w from th bottom dg of
th K ypad and r mov th wall mounting plat . (Fig. 2).
2. Using th mounting plat as a t mplat , mark th
positions of th four fixing hol s on th wall.
Note: To mak th b st us of anti-tamp r prot ction
you must ins rt a wall plug and scr w in th sp cifi d
hol (as illustrat d).
3. Fix th mounting plat to th wall using th scr ws and
wall plugs provid d, (a 5mm hol will b r quir d for th
wall plugs). Do not ov r-tight n th fixing scr ws as this
may distort or damag th mounting plat .
Note: Installing th K ypad against a flat and smooth
wall is of gr at importanc so as to avoid th tamp r
switch b ing fals ly trigg r d.
Note: Th wall plugs suppli d with th product ar not
suitabl for plast rboard walls, if mounting th K ypad
on to plast rboard us appropriat wall plugs.

Inputting the House Code
In ord r to pr v nt any unauthoris d att mpt to op rat or
disarm your syst m, you must configur your syst m to
acc pt radio signals only from your own syst m d vic s. This
is don by s tting a s ri s of ight miniatur (DIP) switch s in
all d vic s to th sam ON/OFF combination (Th Hous
Cod ) s l ct d by th us r/install r. Th K ypad is d sign d
to b affix d outdoor. For s curity r asons, it do s not includ
a DIP switch, but hous cod s tting is ss ntial.
To input th hous cod , pr ss th following k ys in
s qu nc :
1. Pr ss
2. Ent r
3. Pr ss , th LED will illuminat onc

For xampl : if th hous cod s t on th Control Pan l
r ads as: 12578. It m ans th Dip Switch numb rs 1, 2, 5,
7, 8 ar s t to th “ON” position, whil 3, 4, 6 ar s t to
th “OFF” position. Apply th Dip Switchs s t in “ON”
positions for hous cod inputting.
Resetting to Factory Defau t
If you forg t th Us r Acc ss cod , you can r s t th Us r
Acc ss cod to factory d fault by following th st ps b low:
1. R mov th batt ry.
2. Pr ss and hold any k y for mor than 1 s cond.
3. S t th Jump r link J2 as shown on Fig. 7b.
4. R fit th batt ry and t st it by pr ssing th d fault
Us r Acc ss cod of 1 2 3 4.
5. If th t sting is ok, s t th jump r link J2 as shown on
Fig. 7a, which is what th K ypad is s t to normally.
Changing the User Access Code

Disab ing the Keypad
If a s qu nc of mor than 16 incorr ct k y pr ss s is
nt r d th K ypad will b disabl d for th n xt 1 minut .
Cons cutiv ly disabl d for 3 tim s, th K ypad will mit a Tamp r
signal to th control pan l with LED flashing slowly.
Note: Wh n th K ypad is disabl d for 1 minut , th
LED will flash slowly, indicating that th K ypad is
shut down t mporarily. During this 1 minut , any pr ssing
to th K ypad will b tr at d as invalid pr ssing. Aft r th
laps of 1 minut , ff ctiv inputting will b acc pt d.
Rep acing the Batteries
Th “LOW BATTERY” indicator on th front of th K ypad
will not flash until th K ypad mits RF radio signal. In
short, th “LOW BATTERY” indication won’t b s n in
normal circumstanc . Th batt ri s should b r plac d as
soon as possibl as follows:
1. By pr ssing th Us r Acc ss cod twic , two LEDs
( & ) will k p flashing for 20 s conds. During
this 20 s conds duration, no radio signal will mit and
any inputting will not b acc pt d. In this way, th K ypad
won’t mit radio signal wh n r placing th batt ry.
2. Undo fixing scr w at bottom of K ypad and r mov
from wall mounting plat .
3. Undo two fixing scr ws in th r ar cov r and r mov
cov r.
4. R plac batt ry with a n w 9V PP3 Alkalin batt ry.
5. R plac and fix th r ar cov r and th n r fit and s cur
th K ypad onto th wall plat .
So ar Siren Operating Mode:
Solar Siren ON
To switch th Solar Sir n into Op rating Mod :
Pr ss (and hold)

b p and long flash.
Solar Siren OFF
To switch th Solar Sir n into Op rating Mod :
Pr ss (and hold)
for approx 10 s conds until th sir n mits a singl long
b p and long flash.
Th Disarm k y should b r l as d aft r th long b p.
Anti-tamper Protection
Th K ypad incorporat s anti-tamp r prot ction f atur s
against unauthoris d att mpts to r mov th K ypad from
th wall. If it has b n r mov d from th wall, a full alarm
condition will b initiat d.
