Caring for Your Fleur-De-Lys Arch
This powder-coated steel garden structure is resistant to the effects of sun,
rain, frost, and snow. It may be left outdoors year-round.To clean, simply wipe
with a damp cloth. If the powder-coat finish should chip or scratch, it may be
touched up with rust-proof enamel (not included).

Made of steel protected from moisture with a powder coat finish, this arch
will survive the natural elements for many seasons to come.
NOTE: BEFORE ASSEMBLY, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE
ALL PARTS LISTED BELOW.
Tools Required for Assembly
Allen wrench (included). Crescent wrench or adjustable wrench. Rubber
mallet is necessary if you plan to anchor the arch in the soil. Power drill with
bits (½” masonry bit for installing on stone or cement, or ¼” standard bit for
installing into wood). You will also need crescent or socked wrench.

Unpack the arch on a protected, level surface and identify the
following components:

How to Assemble Your Arch
We recommend that 2 people be on hand during assembly of this piece.
1. Lay the Top Panel (A), Side Panel (D) and Side Flaps (B) on a level surface
and align the pieces so that the uppermost parts nearly touch each other.
Slide the Hexagonal Head Screws (F) through the predrilled holes in the
Side Flap, Side Panel and Top Panel and screw with nut and washer by
means of crescent wrench. Feet should be facing inward.
Screw the other side panel in the same manner.
2. Attach the Support Arches (C) to the top panel and side panels using the
Allen Head Small Screws (G).
3. Tighten the screws securely.With the assistance of a second person, tip the
arch upright.
4. To anchor the arch in the soil use a rubber mallet to drive the Stakes (E)
through the holes in the arch’s feet and into the ground.
5. For permanent placement on wood, stone or concrete, the feet should be
bolted in place by means of Lag Screws and Shields (H).
To mount on wood:
A. Mark exactly where each mounting hole should be drilled. Pre-drill holes
for each foot using a ¼” bit.
B. Install each foot using the Lag Screws (H).
C. Tighten screws securely.
To mount on concrete, brick or stone:
A. Mark exactly where each mounting hole should be drilled. Pre-drill holes
for each foot using a ½” bit.
B. Insert Lag shields (H) into the predrilled holes and tap with a hammer so
they are flush with the ground surface.Then install the feet by inserting
the Lag Screws (H) through the feet and into the shields.
C. Tighten screws securely.
