Rightline Gear 110907 User manual

1-Lay out the tent over a at area free from rocks and
sticks.
2-Thread the top pole (with (2) plastic end caps) through
the top pole sleeve and the (2) awning pole sleeves.
3-Thread the (2) end poles through the end pole sleeves.
Line up the end poles’ bent ferules (Fig 1) with the top
pole (Fig 2).
8-Buckle the upper sleeve’s (2) top straps around the roof
rack’s rear cross bar (Fig 8). Adjust the location of the rear
cross bar if necessary. If the vehicle is without a cross bar,
clip the extension straps into the top straps and attach the
extension straps’ J-hooks to the vehicle’s windshield wipers
(Fig 9 and Fig 10).
11-Attach the A and B straps to the vehicle’s wheel well
and tighten (Fig 13).

7-Back up the vehicle until its bumper touches the lower
sleeve (Fig 6). Place the upper sleeve over the raised rear
hatch door (Fig 7).
Set Up The Tent
4-Place the top pole’s ends
into the awning pockets
(Fig 3).
5-Raise the tent by bending the end poles until they go
over their corresponding pole pins (Fig 4)*.
6-Attach the pole clips to the end poles (Fig 5).
9-Center the tent on the back of the vehicle. Make sure the
lower sleeve is above the vehicle’s mufer. Lower the rear
hatch door just enough to buckle the lower sleeve’s E strap
over it (Fig 11). Adjust the strap to provide a snug t when
the rear hatch door is raised again.
CAUTION: Don’t use excessive force when bending the
tent poles. Make sure the pole sleeves slide over the
poles without hanging up.

*If setting up solo, it may be helpful to stake down the
tent’s (4) corners before bending the end poles (remove
the stakes once the tent has been raised).

10-Attach the lower sleeve’s F and G straps to the inside
of the vehicle’s cargo area (Fig 12).

12-Run the C strap under the vehicle’s wheel well, clip it
to the D strap, and tighten (Fig 13).
13-Repeat steps 11 and 12 on the other side of the
vehicle.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Rightline Gear warrants that for one (1) year, from the
date of purchase that all PackRight and CampRight
products will be free of material defect and Rightline
Gear will repair or replace any defective or damaged
product free of charge if it is returned in original con-
dition by the consumer to Rightline Gear or the place
of purchase. Claims of defective material and/or work-
manship must be made in a timely manner. Safe and
maintenance-free use of this product depends upon the
consumer’s or user’s proper installation of the product
and good judgment in its use. Rightline Gear is not re-
sponsible for the consumer’s or user’s use or misuse of this
product. Damage to Purchaser’s vehicle or any other
vehicle caused by Purchaser’s improper use of this prod-
uct may cause serious injury or death. The Purchaser
acknowledges that Rightline Gear has no control over
the attachment of its products to vehicles or the attach-
ment of items to the Rightline Gear products. According-
ly, Rightline Gear cannot assume responsibility for any
damage to any property arising out of the improper
attachment or use of its products.
RIGHTLINE GEAR SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND
ALL OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESS OR IM-
PLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTY
OF MERCHANTABILITY AND WARRANTY OF FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. RIGHTLINE GEAR FUR-
THER DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY OR OTHER PROMISE
THAT GIVES RISE TO ANY SORT OF CONSEQUENTIAL,
EXTRAORDINARY, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, SUBSEQUENT,
OR NONECONOMIC DAMAGES OR ATTORNEY FEES.
THE CONSUMER OR USER’S SOLE REMEDY AGAINST
RIGHTLINE GEAR FOR ANY DEFECT IN THIS PRODUCT
IS LIMITED TO FULL RETURN OF THE PURCHASE PRICE.
RIGHTLINE GEAR SPECIFICALLY ENCOURAGES
COMPLIANCE WITH ALL MOTOR VEHICLE LAWS,
AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL LIABIL-
ITY FOR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH SAME.
16-To have use of the vehicle for the day, disconnect the
tent’s upper and lower sleeves and close the vehicle open-
ing. Move the vehicle away from the tent. Secure the up-
per sleeve and the lower sleeve to the tent’s body by the
dowel and loop fasteners (Fig 20).

Take Down The Tent
1-Disconnect the upper and lower sleeves and move the
vehicle away from the tent.
2-Zip up all windows and doors, leaving a small opening
for air to escape.
3-Release the pole clips, lift the poles from the pole pins,
and lower the tent to the ground.
5-Push all poles out of the pole sleeves and place them in
the pole bag.
6-Fold the sides of the tent in, leaving a 6-8” gap in the
middle (Fig 21). Fold side A over side B. Fold the (2) ends
of the tent in, leaving a gap in the middle (Fig 22).
7-Place the pole bag, stake
bag, and rainy on one of
the folded ends (Fig 22). Roll
the tent as tightly as possible
and place it in the carry bag
(Fig 23).

14-Stake the corners, sides, and guy lines of the tent (Fig
14 and Fig 15).
15-Add the rainy to the tent if needed (Fig 16). Connect
the rainy’s (2) male buckles to the awnings’ (2) female
buckles (Fig 17), its (2) Velcro tabs around the end poles
(Fig 18), and its (4) elastic tensioners to the corner rings
(Fig 19).

4-Pull out all stakes and place them in the stake bag.
