Warranty
When operated and maintained according to all
instructions supplied, if the Ring Rescue®
Compression Device™ fails due to a defect in
material or workmanship within one (1) year from
the date of original retail purchase, the product
will be repaired or replaced at the option of Ring
Rescue Inc. for no additional charge. This warranty
does not cover unsuccessful ring removal

Introduction

This manual is intended to be used by trainers, nurses, physicians, and technicians. Always keep a reference of this manual available for consultation during the life of

Background
The Ring Rescue® Compression Device™ uses
air pressure to temporarily compress a swollen
finger, allowing for the removal of an entrapped
finger ring. Ring removal techniques are then
needed to remove the ring.
Indications for use
The Ring Rescue® Compression Device™ is
indicated for use when a ring is stuck on a finger
(ring entrapment), and removal is desired. The
device, along with correct ring removal
techniques, will often enable the removal of stuck
rings.

Contraindications For Use
Do not use in cases of severe finger injury.

Read instructions before use
Caution
Do not exceed 15 minutes of total compression
time. Seek qualified medical advice in cases
where finger bone fracture, nerve/vascular injury,
skin laceration or damage, or injured ligaments
and tendons are suspected.
Warning
Use only Ring Rescue® approved accessories and
components (such as Ring Rescue® Ring
Lubricant™) with this product. DO NOT modify
this product or its accompanying accessories in
any way. Modifications to this device or its
accessories will void the warranty and may cause
damage or harm.
Cleaning Instructions
Before and after each use, clean the device and its
components with 70% alcohol or 0.5% accelerated
hydrogen peroxide wipes. Do not use any other
cleaning substances or chemicals. Do not
