Water Purification Systems

All Ro-man systems are built in our own UK workshop and are fully assembled for ease of
installation.

What does it do?
Heavy Metal-Axe / Heavy Metal Removers / Carbon Briquette Multimedia Filter
CBR2 filters remove heavy metals, the CBR2 filter is considered the best in the industry (do
not be fooled by other low quality copies) and has been specially designed for lead
reduction. In addition to lead reduction, the unique formation of the carbon block enables it
to reduce Cryptosporidium and Giardia cysts and fine sediment particles down to 0.5
microns
The polypropylene outer wrap helps reduce coarse sediment particles, effectively extending
the useful life of the cartridge MICRON RATING: Nominal 0.5 CHLORINE REDUCTION (2ppm
Cl): >16666.
CBR2 Multimedia cartridges are designed to perform several functions. Highly effective
chlorine reduction . Lead reduction through 1666 uk gallons. 99.95% reduction of
Cryptosporidium and Giardia cysts.
CBR2 filters will not dramatically alter TDS or pH.
For extra protections and longer life the CBR2 filter is protected by a sediment filter

Installation
1 - Remove filters from packaging
2 - Insert the new filter cartridge into the housing.
3 - Ensuring the O ring is in place, screw the filter housng back into the cap.
4 - Do not over tighten.
5 - Connect the water supply using the mains pipe clamp. (See last Page)
6 - Turn on the water supply.
7 - Check for air traps if there relase and check for leaks.
8 - Flush 40lt of water through your system and discard this water.
9 - Set the flow control valve to no more than 2 gallons per minute. We recommend you
allow the water as mush contact time as possible with your purifier.
10 - Securely mount your system using the bracket provided, if you do not intend
permanently mount your system ensure it is securely placed where it will not fall and break.
11 - Thoroughly check your system for any leaks.
Precautions
It is important to protect your system from frost and low temperatures. As water expands
when frozen this can cause numerous problems with your system including cracked pods.
Once the filters in your system have been wet they should not be allowed to dry out. If the
filters do dry please replace them.
We recommend that filters should be replaced every six months to ensure your purification
is working to the highest capacity

Installing the needle valve
Connecting the red pipe to the saddle valve is not difficult, remove the nut for the valve and
put it over the pipe, then push the small copper ring over the end of the pipe and push the
insert into the end of the pipe. Then push the end of the pipe into the valve assembly and
tighten the nut (DO NOT over tighten).
When fitting the valve make sure the saddle valve is in open position. With a spanner fit the
saddle valve to a 15-9 mm pipe. Once the saddle assembly is fitted put the other end of the
red pipe in water container and close the tap on the saddle valve to pierce the pipe, you
may need to open and close this several times to clean the bore off.
