Ladder Track Installation
1. Mount Track Brackets (17) with Pan Head
Screws (20) to a secure fixture (bookcase, cabinet,
wall, etc.) Space brackets every 32-36 inches
along track. Reference the track height diagram
on page 7.
2. Measure the width of your fixture to determine the
amount of 6' tracks (21) needed. Use Track
Unions (19)to connect tracks together. Space
Track Unions (19) as to not interfere with Track
Brackets (17). Track should extend 11⁄8" beyond
outer Track Brackets (17) for Track End Caps (18)
to fit properly. Fig. 1.
Note: For applications wider than 6', you will need
additional sections of 6' track. In the event you
need to shorten any length of track, divide all
tracks evenly for best results, e.g., for a 16' run,
order three 6' tracks and cut all to 5'4".
3. Assemble Track (21) to Track Brackets (17) and
install Track End Caps (19).
Note: The brackets are tight fitting, a rubber
mallet and block of wood may be required
to attach.
1. Begin ladder assembly. Glue the Wood Spindle (4)
and Wooden Steps (3) into place. Add #10 x 21⁄2"
Washer Head Screws (13) for steps. Start
with one rail at time. 7/64" pilot holes are
recommended to minimize binding or splitting.
2. Attach Step Rods (11) and Cap Nuts (12). Fig. 2.

3. Drill holes and install Hook Bracket Assemblies (9)
to Ladder Rails (1 and 2) using Connector
Bolts (15) and Acorn Nuts (16). Center
components between Aluminum Decorative
Spindle (4). Fig. 3.
4. Dry fit Wheel Assemblies (10) to ladder.
Attach ladder to track and place in the climbing
position (steps parallel to the floor). Adjust
Wheel Assemblies (10) vertical to the floor.
Fig. 4. Drill and attach Connector Bolts (15)
and Acorn Nuts (16) for top of Wheel
Assembly (10). Bottom attaches with a 9/64"
pilot hole and a Pan Head Screw (14).
Note: For added strength and design, install Step
Brackets (42128, sold separately). Install 2 per step.
1. Begin Ladder Assembly. Attach Aluminum
Deocrative Spindle (5) and Cast Steps (6) to
just one rail using Cap Nuts (8) and Connector
Bolts (7). Fit the second rail on to the assembled
side and attach the rung and cast steps using
Cap Nuts and Connector Bolts (7). Fig. 5.

Making a 9',10', or Taller Ladder
Good news – it’s easy!
Here’s how to increase the height of your ladder
beyond 8' in one foot increments: Simply add 113⁄8"
to the length of your ladder rails and build one more
step into the ladder structure for each additional foot
of height you would like your ladder to reach.
