The Arccroc is a highly versale RAID system that is available in a 4-Bay
Tower model with up to 12 Terabytes of disk storage. The drives are
Hot-Swappable, with transfer speeds of 3 Gbits/s to and from the host.
ARCTICROC is also compable with both Windows® and Macintosh®
Operang Systems.

Speed and massive storage capacity are typically cited as the chief benefits of

ARCTICROC COMBO TOWER RAID SYSTEMS
The RAID 5 mode provides a fault tolerance feature. It requires a minimum of
3 drives in an array. In case one of the disks fails, the malfunconing disk can
be replaced with a new one. The source data can then be reconstructed back
through parity calculaon. RAID 0+1 mode stripes the data first and then
mirrors the data. It provides another mode to achieve higher performance
and data security.
Using this RAID system is as easy and familiar as using a single bay external
enclosure. The need for soware GUI installaon is eliminated. Onboard LED
indicators keep you apprised of system, connecon, and HDD status while the
user-friendly HDD tray design makes HDD hot-swapping effortless from the
top end.
Two fans blow air through the hard disk drives to dramacally enhance
internal air flow and efficiently cool the high speed SATA hard drives within
the system.
