Rocsafe MX
The world’s first encrypted hard drive enclosure with FIPS level-2 Smartcard
protecon. It employs Real-Time Hardware Encrypon and smartcard technol-
ogy for authencaon. Real-Time or “on-the-fly”encrypon can encrypt and
decrypt files transparently with no loss of performance. The files on the drive
are accessible immediately aer the key is entered without administrator access
or soware installaon. It operates independently of the operang system.
A unique feature of Rocsafe MX Mobile is that it has an embedded keypad
allowing you to key in your PIN directly onto the unit. This ensures protecon
from key-loggers that may be recording your keystrokes. Together with full disk
encrypon and smartcard based authencaon, these features give you the
ulmate level of protecon with an unrivaled ease of use. Rocsafe MX has an
eNova hardware-based cryptographic module that encrypts every single byte of
data that is wrien onto the hard disk in a real-me without any loss in disk
performance.

Rocsafe MX Mobile authencates the user every me it is plugged into a PC. To
give your data the highest level of security, it uses a smartcard. You not only need
to insert a smartcard (“something you have”) but also need to key in a PIN
(“something you know”) before the hard drive becomes accessible.
This use of two factors for authencaon gives you the same level of security
offered by bank ATM’s cards.
