When using your kettle basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the
followings:

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. Read all instructions before using.
2. Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on the
appliance (underside of the kettle & base) corresponds with the voltage in your home. If this is
not the case, contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.
3. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions
or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service
facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
4. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch a hot surface.
5. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
6. Do not operate the appliance without anything in it to avoid damaging the heat elements.
7. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or buttons.
8. Ensure that the kettle is used on a firm and flat surface out of reach of children, this will prevent
the kettle from overturning and prevent damage or injury.
9. To protect against fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not immerse the cord, electric plugs
or kettle in water or other liquids.
10. While water is boiling, or just after the water has been boiled, avoid contact with steam from
the spout.
11. Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the kettle too fast.
12. Be careful of refilling when the kettle is hot.
13. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
14. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
15. The attached base cannot be used for other than the intended use.
16. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot water.
17. The appliance is not a toy. Do not let the children play with it.
18. The kettle is for household use only. Do not use outdoors.
19. The use of accessories, which are not recommended by the appliance manufacturer, may
result in fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
20. Unplug the kettle from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the kettle to cool
before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
21. Always attach the plug to the appliance first, then plug the cord into the wall outlet. To
disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
22. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
23. The kettle can only use with the stand provided.
24. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may spill out.
25. Always ensure the lid is closed and do not lift it while the water is boiling. Scalding may occur if
the lid is removed during the brewing cycles.
26. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
–Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments;

Notes on the cord plug:
•This appliance has a polarized plug. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended
to fit into a polarized outlet only one way, If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the
plug, if it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician, do not attempt to modify the plug in
any way.
•Notes on the cord:
•A short power-supply cord (or detached power-supply cord) is to be provided to reduce risks
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a long cord.
•Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if
care is exercised in their use.
•If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used,
•The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension cord should be
at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
•If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire
cord.
•The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.

BEFORE USING YOUR KETTLE
If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you should clean the appliance

before use by boiling a full kettle of water once and then discarding it. Wipe the surface with a damp
cloth.
NOTE: The maximum capacity of the kettle is 1.7L.
OPERATION OF YOUR KETTLE
Place the kettle on a flat surface.
To fill the kettle, remove it from the Power base and press the Lid-release button to open the kettle lid,
then fill the kettle with the desired amount of water and then close the Kettle lid. Alternatively, the kettle
may be filled through the spout. The water level should not exceed MAX mark or sit below the MIN level.
Too little water will result in the kettle switching off before the water has boiled.
NOTES:
①Do not fill the water over the maximum level, as water may spill out of the spout when boiling.
Ensure that the Kettle lid is firmly in place before plugging in the power outlet.
②The power base can be rotated 360 degrees to facilitate the power plug to connect to the power
source.
Put the kettle loaded with water onto the power base and connect the appliance to a power source, then
all the indicators turn on and the display shows the real-time water temperature. The indicators of “50”,
“60”, “70”, “80” , “90” and “boil” illuminate solidly while the indicator of default setting “Boil” flashes, and
the appliance is ready for use.
NOTE: All the indicators will turn off and three beeps can be heard as well as the appliance will enter
into standby mode if there is not any operation for 1 minute.
Press the “+” or “-” button to select your desired water temperature. The indicator of the selected water
temperature flashes while other indicators illuminate solidly.
Press the “START/CANCEL” button to activate the appliance, and the indicator of selected water
temperature illuminates solidly while other indicators turn off, the display shows the real-time water
temperature, and the appliance starts to work. When the water is heated to the selected temperature,
three beeps can be heard, all the indicators turn off and the appliance enters the standby mode.
After selecting the desired water temperature, if you want to activate the keep-warm function, you can
first press the “KEEP WARM” button and then press the “START/CANCEL” button, and the appliance
starts to boil water. When the water is heated to the selected water temperature, the appliance will enter
the keep-warm mode automatically and will keep warm for 30 minutes. After the keep-warm is
completed, three beeps can be heard, all the indicators turn off and the appliance enters the standby
mode.
NOTES:
After the temperature is selected, the current temperature cannot be set by the “+” or “-” button during
the water-brewing process or keep-warm process.
After the appliance enters the working process, it can only exit from the current program by operating
the “START/CANCEL” button, while other buttons cannot be operated.
The display will enter sleep mode if there is not any operation within the 30-minute keep-warm process,
and the display can be woken up by pressing any button.
BOIL-DRY PROTECT
Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without water, the boil-dry protection will automatically

switch off the power. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before filling it with cold water or before it
works again.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and let it cool down before cleaning.
Never immerse the kettle, power cord or power base in water, or allow moisture to contact with these
parts.
Wipe the appearance of the body with a damp cloth or cleaner, never use a poisonous cleaner.
CAUTION: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle to
prevent gloss loss.
When not used or stored, the power cord may be wound under the bottom of the kettle.
REMOVAL OF MINERAL DEPOSITS
Your kettle should be periodically descaled as the mineral deposits in tap water may form scale on the
bottom of the kettle so as to cause the operation less efficient. You can use the commercially available
descale and follow the instructions on the package of the descaler. Alternatively, you may follow the
below instructions using white vinegar.
1. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar, then add water to the amount so as to cover the bottom of
the kettle completely. Leave the solution in the kettle overnight.
2. Then discard the mixture in the kettle, then filling the kettle with clean water, boiling, and then discard
the water. Repeat several times until the odor of vinegar has been flushed away. Any stains remaining
inside the spout can be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth.
