THE PERFECT TEMPERATURES TIPS AND TRICKS
TIPS AND TRICKS
Use the optimal water temperature to brew perfect hot drinks. The correct water
temperature helps you extract just the right amount, avoiding strong or weak brews. It
also ensures that the taste you get, is exactly as it should be.
MILK: Use the milk function to heat milk to 40 ℃. To sterilize the water for use in
baby’s formula, first boil the water properly to eliminate harmful bacteria. It is important
to let the water cool before using the convenient milk function to reheat to 40℃before
mixing it with the baby’s formula, Test the temperature of the milk/formula on the inside
of your wrist before giving it to the baby. It should be body temperature, which means it
should feel warm or cool, but not hot.
TEA: Teas are too delicate for boiling water, with the ideal temperature being 70℃for
white tea. Advised temperatures vary across the tea spectrum: black and oolong teas
require water at around 85℃, whereas herbal infusions need 100℃, and for
chamomile, around 90.
COFFEE: Boiling water can burn coffee. The best temperature for making it is
between 80℃(instant coffee) and 96℃(brewing).

EXTERIOR CLEANING
Let the kettle cool down before cleaning. Before you clean your kettle, unplug and
make sure all water is poured out from the kettle. Do not immerse the appliance or its
base in water or any other liquid, or hold it under a running tap to clean.

cloth. Never use detergents, harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning agents on your
kettle.
INTERIOR CLEANING
We recommend that you descale your kettle on a monthly basis, Any buildup of scale
causes overheating, which reduces the life of the element, and may trigger the boil dry
safety protection to engage. Limescale may be white, slightly coloured or rust-looking,
but it is normally visible. Kindly note that products returned under guarantee with faults
related to scale will be subject to a repair charge.
Over time, your kettle may experience a build up of limescale. To remove limescale
follow the easy steps below:
•Fill your kettle with a mixture of equal parts water and household vinegar or
lemon juice
•Let the mixture sit in the kettle for 1(one) hour and then boil
•Pour out the mixture from the kettle and rinse thoroughly with clean water
•Repeat this last process several times
