Attaching the Ferrite Core
You must attach the ferrite core before using the R-4.
If you use a LANC cable to connect the R-4‘s L connector to a video device that
has a LANC connector, you must attach the included ferrite core.
This is for the purpose of preventing electromagnetic noise; do not remove it.
* The ferrite core is included, but you will need to purchase a LANC cable
separately.
1. Attach the ferrite core to the LANC cable.
* You must attach it near the plug.
2. Wrap the LANC cable one turn around the ferrite core.
3. Press the halves together until they click shut.
* Be careful not to pinch your fingers when attaching the ferrite core.
* Do not damage the cable by pinching it excessively with the ferrite core.

フェライト・コアの取り付け方
R-4 をお使いになる前に必ずフェライト・コアを取り付けてください。
LANC 端子を装備したビデオ機器と R-4 の L コネクターを LANC ケーブルを使って接
続する場合には、付属のフェライト・コアを取り付けてください。
電磁ノイズ防止用ですので取り外さないでください。
※ フェライト・コアは付属していますが、LANC ケーブルは別途ご用意ください。
1. フェライト・コアを LANC ケーブルに取り付けます。
※ 必ず、プラグの間近に取り付けてください。

2. LANC ケーブルをフェライト・コアに１周巻き付けます。

3. カチッと音がするまで押し込みます。

※ フェライト・コアを取り付けるとき、指などを挟まないようにご注意ください。
※ フェライト・コアを閉めるとき、ケーブルを無理に挟まないでください。
