PART 2 - SECURING THE NET BASE
1. Insert the empty Black Vinyl Water Bag into the opening at the base of the Rolbak Net, feeding it through to the
other side.
2. To ll the Water Bag, rst lift the cap to reveal the valve opening. [Note: In cooler climates, the plastic may be sti and
inexible. Allow the Water Bag to warm up by laying it in the sun for 5 to 10 minutes to soften the plastic to make it more
exible.]
3. Holding the opening rmly, press straight down on the valve with your nger.
4. Insert the funnel into the valve opening. Use the garden hose to ll the Water Bag approximately three-quarters
full, holding the valve upright to prevent leaking. Do not overll!
5. Remove the funnel, replace the cap and secure the ends of the Rolbak Net Base. [Note: The Water Bag may freeze in
colder climates. Non-toxic swimming pool antifreeze, available at pool supply stores, may be added to prevent freezing.]
6. Open Cover Bag and place below Rolbak Net Base. Determine desired Rolbak Net height and roll excess Rolbak
Net forward to fasten around base.
[Note: Height adjustment may not be necessary depending on basketball system height. Cover Bag may be used for extra
base protection.]
