“R” logo left top indicates the Ridge side
when installing the base.

Y1: 4 1/8” from Y0
Y1-Y: PV Width+1 1/16” (Landscape)
Y1-Y: PV Length + 1 1/16” (Portrait)

Note: To fix the modules on the
ridge side. The End clamp must
be removed and rotated 180
degree also switch the M10 hole.
＊Bottom clamp stay same direction
and ONLY End Clamp need to be
switched

APEX First row installation
Important Step for a Smooth Skirt set up.
Use strings to align the first row, and set
the bottom side socket head cap screw.

*Place End clamp or End
Splice to the base.
First row alignment
Please torque the M8 screw before
installing the panel once it is aligned.
M-8 Torque to 12Nm (9 ft-lb)
IMPORTANT!!

APEX SKIRT & First Row Installation
IMPORTANT!! Skirt bonding clip must be
installed between each
skirt to make a bonding
connection.
The space between each
skirt must be 1/8 inch
(3mm).
At End clamp location Slide in skirt to End clamp Place skirt all the way in
Push down End clamp Place PV panel into the clamp Torque the end clamp with skirt
and panel at the same time

APEX SKIRT & First Row Installation
End Splice can be rotated and it can be installed between
2 Skirts to create a bonding path.
・32-40 mm frame height
・Universal End clamp
・up to 1 9/32” leveling
・Integrated cable holder tray

End Splice clamp shall be set with PV panels at the
same time,.

Set the middle clamp flush with the
PV Panel frame. And torque the
side M8 screw.
Middle clamp installation

Height adjustment shall be done after panels
are set in place.

Torque the middle clamp
Slide the PV panel in. NO need to
un-tighten it since the clamp has
been set..
IMPORTANT!!
Clamp torque values vary between 16Nm
to 18Nm (verify Installation Manual
appendix for proper value)

Location for additional SDST screw
(verify *values on the PE Report)
IMPORTANT!!

APEX End Row Installation 8
At the ridge side or top row,
the end clamp must be fully
untightened and rotated 180
degrees. The bottom bracket
and pillar are installed same
as the others.
IMPORTANT!!
Slide the end clamp toward to
PV Panel frame and torque the
side screw M8 to fix base and clamp.

Height adjustment
shall be done after
panels are fixed.
Note: Top row clamp rotation
applies to the splice clamp as
well. Follow instruction above.
