Das Dokument dient als Nachschlagewerk zur korrekten Ausführung von Wartung, Unterhalt und Instandsetzung
der Saft-Zentrifuge Rotor Vitamat Power Juicer (RVP).
WICHTIG!
Die meisten Probleme mit Saftzentrifugen entstehen bei mangelhafter Reinigung des Schleuderkorbes.
Ein gelegentliche Reinigung mit einem Entkalkungsmittel oder Essig ist sehr hilfreich.
Die Reparaturanleitung wird laufend auf den neuesten Stand angepasst. Bei jeder relevanten Aenderung des
Dokuments wird das Datum geändert, sowie ein Index eingetragen.
Das Dokument ist in Maschinen-Baugruppen aufgeteilt, welche direkt über das Inhaltsverzeichnis greiffbar
sind.
Für Notizen ist auf den meisten Seiten eine leere Spalte reserviert.

These repair instructions are intended for specialists .
This document serves as reference material for the proper maintenance, service and repair of the Rotor Vitamat Power
Juicer RVP Juice extractor.
ATTENTION!
Most of the problems with juicers are due to insufficient cleaning of the basket. Use casually a decalcifier or
vinegar for best effect.
The repair instructions are constantly being updated with new information. With each relevant change to the
document, the date is changed and an index entry is added.
The document is divided according to the machine assembly type, and all types can be accessed directly via the
table of contents.
A blank column for notes has been provided on most pages.
Space for notes is also available at the end of the document.
If you locate errors in this document, please notify us accordingly. The best method for this is to send us a copy

2.2 Kohlenbürstewechsel
carbon brush change
Wir empfehlen bei Reparaturen von älteren Vitamat Power Juicer (Bis Serie-Nr. 060000) mit geschlitzen Kol-
lektoren und 230V generell die alten Kohlenbürste „U3415F7“ durch den Typ „H18F7“ oder „U3127/4F12“ zu
ersetzen. Dadurch kann das Wartungsintervall wesentlich erhöht werden.
Auch bei anderen Geräten mit 230V (RGS Varimat, GT Gastronom, RSA Sanamat) ist dies grundsätzlich von
Vorteil, besonders wenn der Kollektor - auf Grund sehr hoher Arbeitsbelastung - eine starke schwarze Ver-
schmutzung und der Motor eine unregelmässige Geschwindigkeit aufweist.
Bei Vitamat Power Juicer 120V Version, „U3415F7“ für geschlitze Kollektoren und „H18F7“ für ungeschlitze
Kollektoren verwenden.
2.2.1 Korrekter Vorgang beim Wechsel des Kohlentyps:
- Bodenblech entfernen.
- Ventilator demontieren (für erhöhte Sicherheit bei diesem nicht ungefährlichen Vorgang).
- Mit einem Bimsstein bei laufender Maschine den Kollektor putzen, so dass der schwarze Belag
(Patina) weitgehend verschwindet. Als Alternative zum Bimsstein kann auch mit feinstem
Poliertuch den Kollektor gereinigt werden.
VORSICHT!: Stromführende und bewegte Teile! Staub nicht einatmen!
- Mit feinem Werkzeug (Nadel) oder mit einer Brüste (Zahnbürste) die Luftschlitze im Kollektor
reinigen
- Beide Kohlenbürsten durch neue Typen ersetzen (siehe nächste Seite: “Verwendung der
verschiedenen Kohlenbürsten”)
- Ventilator und Bodenblech wieder montieren.
- Nach dem Wechsel die Maschine während 30min im Leerlauf einlaufen lassen, damit sich die
Kohlen besser am Kollektor anschmiegen, bevor hohe Strombelastung auftritt.
HINWEIS!: Wird bei einem Wechsel des Kohlentyps der Kollektor nicht gereinigt, kann starkes
Kohlenfeuer und erhöhte Drehzahl (ca. 12000 U/min) auftreten. Bei gereinigtem Kollektor kann
diese Symtome während den ersten Einlaufminuten ebenfalls auftreten aber verschwindet dann
wieder.
Eine wesentliche Verbesserung bringt das Erden des Motors (Erdung zu Gehäuse-Stator) mit
einer gelb/grünen Litze Art.Nr.290.03.74; ab Serie-Nr.061605, 230V Standard.
- Remove the base plate.
- Disassemble the fan (for the Safety).
- Clean the running commutator till the black layer (Patina) is largely removed, best with a pumice
stone for polishing the commutator (instead of the pumice stone can be used a dry fine polishing
cloth).
CAUTION!: electrical and moved components! Don´t breath the dust!
- Clean the air slot of the commutator with a fine tool (needle) or brush (toothbrush)
- Change the two carbon brushes through the new carbon brush types (see the next side: “Types of
carbon brushes”).
- Reassemble the fan and the base plate.
- After Changing boths brushes run the machine for 30min without any load for a perfect fit of the
brushes with the commutator.
- NOTE!: If the types of brushes is changed without cleaning the commutator the following effect
may occure: lager fire at the brushes and increased speed (up to 12000rpm). Sometimes this
effect occures also with cleaned commutator, but lasts only a few minutes.
Improve it by connecting the motor (stator) with the housing (earth point) by a yellow/green
stranded wire art.No.290.03.74 to 230V or a green stranded wire art.no 1120.372 to 120V standard
for serial no. higher than 061605.
2.2.1 Important procedure when changing the type of brushes:
When repairing the Vitamat Power Juicer (until serial no. 060000) with commutator with gaps and 230V,
we recomend to change the old carbon brushes “U3415F7” to the types ”H18F7” or “U3127/4F12”. This will
increase the future periode of maintenance largely.
This is generally the case also for the other machine types at 230V (RGS Varimat, GT Gastronom, RSA
Sanamat) is especially if the commutator has a thick black layer (Patina), due to high working charge.
At Vitamat Power Juicer 120V use”U3415F7” for commutators with gaps and “H18F7” for commutators without
gaps.

- Zur Demontage des Motors die 3 Befestigungs-
schrauben (2) lösen.
- Für die Demontage der Kupplungshälfte ein Drehherz
wie abgebildet an der Kupplung festschrauben.
Eine Schraube (2) als Anschlag wie abgebildet
einschrauben.
- Nach der Montage des Drehherzes, mit Hilfe des
Schleuderkorbes im Gegenuhrezeigersinn die
Kupplung lösen.
- Bremsscheibe und den dazugehörigen Federkeil
ausbauen.
- Antriebswelle nach oben demontieren.
- Den alten Wellendichtring entfernen.
- Den Sicherungsring oberhalb des Lagers entfernen.
Danach beide Rillenkugellager demontieren.
- Disassemble the motor by the 3 pan head screws.
- To disassemble the clutch, screw the heart slewing (1)
on the clutch.
Assemble one screw (2) for stopping the rotation.
- After assembling a heart slewing, disassemble
the clutch with help of the centrifugal basket, turning
in counter-clockwise direction.
- Remove the break disk and the necessary parallel key.
- Disassemble the primary shaft (from outside).
- Remove the old shaft seal ring.
- Remove the lock washer above the bearing.
Then disassamble boths ball bearings.

2.4.1 Die wichtigsten Arbeitsschritten:
Important procedures:

- 2 neue Rillenkugellager (inkl. der Distanzhülse
zwischen den Lager) einpressen. Vor dem
Einpressen auf dem Lageraussenring punktweise
Klebstoff (Loctite 262) anbringen, um die
sichere Haltung im Gehäuse zu gewährleisten.
WARNUNG!
Darauf achten das kein Klebstoff in das Lagerinnere
gelangen kann.
Der Aussenring muss unbedingt gegen Drehung
gesichert sein.
- Neuer Wellendichtring sehr sorgfältig einbauen und die
Dichtlippen vorher mit Hochtemperaturfett
(Motorex 182) schmieren.
- Antriebswelle, Federkeil und Bremsscheibe wieder
montieren.
- Kupplungshälfte anschrauben. Anziehen von Hand
reicht völlig aus, da die Kupplung beim Einlaufen
automatisch fest angezogen wird.
- Motor montieren und ausrichten:
Motor von Hand drehen und abwechslungsweise
gleichzeitig die 3 Schrauben gleichmässig
anziehen bis diese festgezogen sind.
Das laufende Gerät auf Ratter- und
Schlaggeräuschen prüfen; sollten solche
Geräusche hörbar sein, dann den Motor erneut
ausrichten.
- Press the new ball bearings with the distance sleev
between the bearings into the housing. Before pressing
some glune (Loctite 262) must be applied at the outer
ring, only some drops, without contamination inside of
the bearing mechanism.
The outer ring must never rotate.
- install very carefully the new shaft seal ring and
lubricate it first well with high temperatur grease
(Motorex 182).
- Assemble the primary shaft, parallel key and the break
disk.
- Screw the clutch by hand. It will be tightened
automatically in the running machine.
- Mount and align the motor in the housing:
turn the motor by hand and screw the 3 screws step by
step, until complete.
Then switch on the machine and check the sound:
loud noise means, that the motor must be aligned
more precicely.
HINWEIS!
Lager und Wellendichtring mit einem passen-
dem Rohr einpressen. Mit einem Vollprofil
(Stab) kann das Lager und der Wellendich-
tring beschädigt werden.
NOTE!
Press the bearings and the shaft seal ring by
a suitable tube into the housing. Using a rod
may destroy the bearings or the seal.

2.4.2 Motor ausrichten:
align motor:

Wir empfehlen bei Beanstandungen, die Drehzahl von 5´000 U/min auf 5´500 U/min zu erhöhen. Durch diese
Massnahme wird der Tersterauswurf wesentlich verbessert und zugleich wird die Leistung erhöht durch eine
bessere Kühlung des Gerätes.
Der benötigte 200 oder 196 kOhm-Metallfilmwiderstand (ROTOR Art.Nr. 295.51.51 oder 295.51.16) ist im RVP
Upgrade-Kit (ROTOR Art.Nr. 1110.900) enthalten.
- Print ausbauen.
- Die Printschutzhülle unten am Print entfernen.
- Die zwei markierten Lötstellen am Widerstand
mit geeigneten Hilfmittel (z.b Entlötlitze) entlöten und
den Widerstand entfernen.
HINWEIS!
Diese Anleitung gilt für Printe ohne Trimm-Potentiometer
(230V Maschinen mit Serie Nr. 030000 bis 061533 und 120V
Maschinen mit Serie Nr. 030000 bis 051381).
Bei Printen mit Trimm-Potentiometer kann die Drehzahl
durch dieses Potentiometer reguliert werden. Mit einem
Schraubenzieher am Trimm-Potentiometer drehen bis das
Drehzahlmessgerät oben auf der Antriebswelle ca. 6´000 U/min
anzeigt.
2.5.1 Vorgehen beim Widerstandswechsel:

We recomend in case of problems to increase the rotational speed from 5´000 rpm to 5´500 rpm. This will con-
siderably improved pulp ejection and increase power due to a better cooling of the motor.
The RVP Upgrade-kit (ROTOR Art.Nr. 1110.900 / 910) includes the needed 200 or 196 kOhm resistor (ROTOR
Art.Nr. 295.51.51 or 295.51.16).
NOTE!
This manual is for electronic boards without trimming
potentiometer (230V machine with serial no. 030000 up to
061533 and for 120V machine with serial no. 030000 up to
051381).
The electronic boards with trimming potentiometer can be
adjusted by this potentiometer. Adjust the rotational speed
with a screwdriver at the potentiometer to approx 6´000 rpm
(measured at the primary shaft).
