ROVE A12-60 User manual

WINDSHIELD MOUNT INSTRUCTIONS.
(please read and understand warnings & safety instrucons in user manual first before operang)
1. Please charge your ROVE A12-60 for at least 6 hours before you use it to
prevent any errors.
2. Rove A12-60 is designed to turn ON and start recording video
automacally when it receives power and STOP recording within few
seconds when it stops receiving power. i.e. When you start/stop your car
3. Please insert Class 10 or higher Micro SD Card
4. How to transfer videos to your PC:
a. Connect Rove A12-60 to your PC with provided mini-USB data cable
to view video files directly on to your PC. Go to my computer, it works
just like when you connect pen-drive to your computer.
b. Remove micro SD card from Rove A12-60, then insert it to provided
SD adapter and then insert into SD card slot into your PC.
5. Download ROVE Video Player to your PC: See page 31 on user manual for
detailed instrucons.
6. How to hide power cable inside your car’s dashboard?
There are many people has demonstrated on You-Tube how and where
to hide power cable inside car. You can view one of the ways here, this
video is not recorded by us.

OUT OF THE BOX INSTRUCTIONS:
UNDERSTANDING BUTTONS:
HOW TO CORRECTLY INSERT MICRO SD MEMORY CARD?
WRONG:
If memory card is crooked then do NOT
force insert it. Recheck correct way of
inserng before proceeding again.
CORRECT:
Make sure memory card is straight
half way in, then Push in unl it clicks.
To remove, gently push inwards unl clicks
and pops out then pull it out of the slot.

• Turn this locking knob clock wise
while applying pressure towards
windshield to create
strong sucon.

• Plug this cable into
GPS Input slot
• GPS Geo-tagging Device
• Press once to turn ON camera
• Press & Hold to turn OFF camera
• Press once while video is being
recorded to take a snap shot
POWER / PHOTO Buon
• Press once to
MUTE / UN-MUTE Microphone
• Press to scroll UP while
in any sengs menu
UP Buon:
• Press once to START / STOP
video recording while
in video mode.
• Press once to take a snap
shot while in photo mode.
• Press once to play video aer
selecng desired video in
playback mode.
• Press to enter / confirm specific
seng while in menu or
system sengs.
OK Buon:
• Press once to turn OFF / ON LCD
(note camera sll stays ON)
• Press to scroll DOWN while
in any sengs menu.
DOWN Buon:
• Press once while video is being recorded
to manually lock current video so it does not
get deleted by loop cycle funcon.
• The protected video will be saved
under EVENT folder when you connect your
camera to PC, or enter Micro SD card to PC.
EMERGENCY Video Lock Buon:
• Press to ENTER / EXIT menu
of each specific mode.
• Each mode has their own
menu sengs.
System sengs
are common between
all three modes.
MENU Buon
• Rove A12-60 has 3-different modes.
(1) video mode (2) photo mode (3) playback mode
• To switch between these three modes, first, if video is being
recorded, press OK buon to STOP video recording before
you can switch between any of these modes. Then press MODE buon
to switch through these three modes.
• While you are in any mode’s menu sengs,
press MODE buon once to switch
between MODE sengs
& SYSTEM sengs.

• Above SYSTEM SETINGS are common between all three modes.
• To access above SYSTEM SETTINGS,
1. Press MENU buon while in any mode will open below screen.
2. Now, Press MODE buon to switch to SYSTEM SETTINGS
• Pressing MODE buon again will switch between VIDEO MODE
and SYSTEM SETTINGS
• To go back or exit from any menu seng, press MENU buon unl go to previous screen
or completely exit menu sengs.

Press MENU buon while either in VIDEO MODE , PHOTO MODE: or PLAYBACK MODE
to access any of these above mode’s menu sengs. Use “UP” or “DOWN” buon to scroll
through these menus and then “OK” buon to enter that seng’s opons. Then again use “UP”
or “DOWN” buon to scroll through available opons, then press “OK” buon to confirm and
exit.
