TheDLW-1is part ofa muchlargersystem– the EcastInterac-
tiveEntertainment Network. Thisnetwork is adigital platform
thatdelivers music, games,e-commerce, Internet access,films
and other entertainment features to venues everywhere. The
InteractiveEntertainmentNetworkisdeliveredthroughtheDLW-1
system. Thesystemconsistsofa digitaljukeboxand anInternet
router.
TheDLW-1 jukeboxis anInternetenabled jukeboxthat allows
allthe traditionalfunctionsofajukebox backedby thepower of
theInternet. The Internet connectivitygivespatrons more fea-
tures, such as the ability to download songs on demand for
temporaryplay andtopurchase albums.

UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS
Thissection containsinformation forunpackingthe phonographand installingit ata venue. Thephonograph is
shippedwith all majorcomponents inplace. Save all tie-downhardware incase the DLW-1must bemoved to
anotherlocation.
Exterior
1. Remove the shipping carton with care: Do not use shipping hooks or sharp tools that could damage the
phonographcabinet.
2. Remove theplastic bagthatcoversthephonograph.
3. Carefully inspect the interior and exterior of the phonograph to ensure that no damage occurred during
transit.
If damage is detected, the carrier who delivered the phonograph should be contacted immediately to
examineit. Regardless of the exteriorcondition of theshipping cartons, the carriershould be calledand
notifiedof damage. Donotdestroypackingmaterial orboxes untilthe carrier'sagenthasexaminedthem.
Damageclaimsareyourresponsibility. Do notreturndamagedmerchandiseuntilafteryourclaimhasbeen
established. Onceyourclaim hasbeenestablished, merchandisemaybe returnedtoyourRowedistributor
forrepair. The invoiceamount forrepairchargescanthen becollected fromthe carrier.
DOORS
1. Locate theredbagin thetopholdonthebackof thecabinet. Removethedoor keyfromthebagandunlock
thetopdoor. Turn the key tothe right and openthe door as you turnthe key.
VISUAL INSPECTION
Checkto besure thatallelectricalplugsare completelyseated intotheir receptacle.
HANDY CASE
Locate the Handy Case in a blue plastic envelope. The Handy Case contains a variety of items, including the
phonograph service manual and parts catalog, spare parts, and fuses. Keep the Handy Case inside the
phonographsothe servicemanualand partswillbe readilyavailablewhenneeded.
WARRANTY REGISTRATION CARD
Apostage-paid WarrantyRegistrationCardisincluded withthe phonograph. Thiscard shouldbe filledoutand
returnedto Rowe.

Wallphonomustbesolidlyfastenedtostructuralmemberswithinthesupportingwall.
Wallphonoweighs165pounds(75 kg);ifit falls,itcould causedamageorinjury.
Suppliedfasteners(1-1/2”lag screws)areforwood wallstudconstruction. Forother
typesofconstruction, installermustprovideanduse appropriatefasteners.
Installing Hanger Bracket
HangerBracket isshipped installedto back ofthe Wallphono(See Figure1-1).
1. Loosen 2 screws in slots for both Retainer Brackets that hold the Hanger Bracket in place on back of
cabinet (See Figure 1-2). Slide Retainer Bracket to side and remove. Then lower and remove Hanger
Bracket.
IMPORTANT: SaveRetainer Bracketsfor lateruse afterWallphono ishung.
2. PREFERREDMETHOD: Attheinstallationlocation, usea leveltomark aline thatisexactly leveland
669/16” (169cm) abovethe floor. Thiswillplace bottomof theWallphono atthe recommended33 1/2”
(85cm) above thefloor.
IMPORTANT: Thislinemust behorizontalsothattheWallphonowill belevel.
IMPORTANT: If replacing a WP100, use the level to mark a line that is exactly 4 1/2” directly below
existingholes. ThiswillallowforusingtheexistinglowerholesinwallandplacingtheWallphonoatthesame
recommendedheight.
3. Locate wallstudlocationsonthehorizontalline. Ifusingsuppliedlag screws,drill5/32” holesatmark.
4. Place Hanger Bracket against wall. Align Hanger Bracket holes with wall marks and attach with all
fasteners.

1. As you lift Wallphono to Hanger Bracket, look through opened Door to be sure keyhole slots of the
WallphonoBack Panelarealigned withspools oftheHangerBracket.
2. Push Wallphonoagainstwall andlowerit ontospools.
3. While Dooris still opened,visually checkthat the WallphonoBack Panelisproperly seatedon the spool
slots.
4. Reinstall RetainerBrackets andtightenscrews tolock theWallphonoon theHanger Bracket.
(See Figure 1-2)
Wallphono weighs 165 pounds (75 kg) and requires at least two people for
lifting. To see Hanger Bracket alignment open Main Door.
