TRANSPORT LOCK
PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO REMOVE THE TRANSPORT LOCK
BEFORE COMMISSIONING AND CAREFULLY CARRY OUT THE STEPS DESCRIBED
IN THEM!!!
IF THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT HEEDED, YOUR TREATMENT CHAIR COULD BE

WARNING!
The treatment chair may only be moved by the two armrest mountings on the side of the back
section using the transport lock fitted. When transporting, setting up and fitting the levelling pads
under the chair, the two red transport locks must be fitted on the treatment chair.
Keep the transport locks for subsequent moves. You can use them to secure the chair again
should you wish to change its position at the installation site. We are happy to advise you on
transporting your treatment chair as part of a move.
Failure to follow this advice may result in damage to the treatment chair.

Before unloading the treatment chair, place a protective mat (e.g. foot mat) in front of the
pallet to protect the floor.

Grip the two armrest mountings on the right/left of the back section as shown. Pull the
treatment chair off the pallet in the direction indicated by the arrow until the floor plate
is sitting on the protective mat.

Turn the treatment chair by 180° so that the foot supports do not come into contact with
the pallet when lowering. To do this, turn the hand wheel for rotation.

Grip the two armrest mountings on the right/left of the back section as shown. Lift the
treatment chair and have a second person pull out the pallet from underneath.

Grip the two armrest mountings on the right/left of the back section as shown. Lift the
treatment chair and have a second person place two levelling pads under the floor plate.

Turn the treatment chair by 180°.

Grip the two armrest mountings on the right/left of the back section as shown. Lift the
treatment chair and have a second person place two levelling pads under the floor plate.

The two red transport locks must be removed before commissioning the treatment chair.
Failure to do so may mean that the back section cannot be tilted, the drive and/or seat
and back section may thereby be damaged.

Before starting to remove the transport lock, protect the wood cover of the lift cladding
and the floor plate of the treatment chair. Use a socket head wrench to loosen the hexa-
gon socket screw on the right/left and remove with the corresponding washer.

Keep the transport locks for subsequent moves. You can use them to secure the chair
again should you wish to change its position at the installation site. In order to do so,
follow points 8-10 in the reverse order.
The transport lock can now be swung down and taken off with ease.10.
