Dear Customer:
You have chosen a M I ML I XL, and with this a highqua-
lity cupboard of our FURNITURE series. It consequently
integrates practice experiences of numerous podiatrists and corre-
sponds to the increased demands in functionality and hygiene. Per-
fect movability, smooth-running drawers and functionality became
true with our FURNITURE cupboard series.
Proven and tested in daily practice, all cupboards dispose of the
unique 2-column principle, which oers essential advantages re-
garding stability and movability. German production quality in eve-
ry detail; from outer coating to central cabling. All cupboards are
MPG certied and are subject to permanent quality control. Should
you, however, still have problems or questions, please do not hesi-
tate and contact our service department.

Please read this instruction manual carefully before initial start-up,

Operation of FURNITURE in explosive rooms may
lead to triggering of an explosion.
WARNING!
Danger by disease transmission!
Insucient disinfection may lead to disease transmission
>>> Disinfect regularly with RUCK-maxi towels (29410 maxi
towels, 29411 dispenser box, 29402 RUCK-zonal disin-
fectant) or similar product.
>>> Please implicitly pay attention to the standards of the
responsible public committee for hygiene and disin-
fection.
>>> Attention: do not spray cleaning agents and disinfec-
tants into sockets of lamp holders.
Correct usage of UV-drawer [1.1]
Please switch UV-C lamp on only when the irradiation drawer is
inserted correctly and can be closed completely, and the win-
dow is undamaged.
Please pay attention to the capacity of the sockets mentioned
on the label.
Correct condition of the power cable
Should there be damages in the power cable or other cables,
please draw the main plug and have the defect cable be replaced
by an expert.

Usage of motor drawer [1.5]
Only devices which do not develop excessive heat emis-
sion may be inserted into the motor drawer. The dimensi-
ons necessary in order to guarantee for sucient air sup-
ply given by the manufacturer have to be observed.

GENERAL INFORMATION
INTENDED USAGE
Purpose of usage:
The FURNITURE is suitable for usage in podi-
atric-, footcare- or cosmetic practices, as well as for
usage within the clinical area.
Place of usage:
The cupboards may only be used in dry and non-explo-
sive rooms.
Form of usage:
The cupboards are construed for permanent usage.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY
The standard equipment for all FURNITURE consists of:
• (1) 3 x black O-Rings (48215)
• (2) 1 x handpiece holder for NOVA2 (48234) or
ECO (48239)
• (3) 1 x column cover (48213)
• (4) 1 x column lamp holder for WALDMANN lamps (48212) 1 x tube
for Luxo lamp when ordering a Luxo lamp (not illustrated).
• (5) 1 x power cable 3m, grey (48227)

Assembly of handpiece holder onto right column – at rst, put
O-ring over column and then adjust handpiece holder. The O-ring
serves as height adjustment of handpiece holder. For easy hand-
ling, just put suction tube onto the rear part of the handpiece
holder.
The optional holder available for the waste bin is being assembled
INITIAL START-UP
Please check if power supply voltage given corresponds to the nomi-
nal voltage and frequency mentioned of the specication plate within
the motor drawer.
The FURNITURE can be connected with the included power
cable to any Schuko- or Euro socket. [2.0]
For assembly of lamp holder and tube cover please slightly grease
rubber rings and press them into tube.

INITIAL START-UP
Lead power cable on the left upper side into the cupboard and x
with cabel clamp. The socket destined for this purpose you will
nd integrated into the inner back wall of the cupboard.
For easy handling, just put suction tube of the NOVA2 onto
the rear part of the handpiece holder.

ON/OFF SWITCH
The ON/OFF switch of the UV-drawer you will nd on the back side of the
cupboard. The UV-illumination switches o automatically when pulling
out the drawer.
REMOVAL OF DRAWERS
For replacement of the UV-tube, the drawer is being removed complete-
ly. Just pull drawer out and slightly lift it approx. 10 cm before end stop.
Then pull out completely until it unlocks audibly. For putting it back af-
terwards, adjust drawer on extended guide rails and close completely.

CHANGE OF UV-TUBE
For changing the UV-tube please disconnect cupboard from power
supply system. Unlatch tube with a ¼-turn (1) and remove it (2). Put
new tube in (3) and click into place again with a ¼-turn.

18 EQUIPMENT (Push to open)
10240 PUSH TO OPEN system for |
PUSH TO OPEN stands for electronic opening of drawing
elements without knobs.
Function:
A slight tip onto the plane front surface and the drawer
opens as if by magic. The electronic opening support
PUSH TO OPEN is integrated into the inner back wall of
the cupboard, and its function standby can be checked
via the LED operation display of the power supply unit.
The PUSH TO OPEN system reacts only on short-term
pressure. Should you, for example, lean against the dra-
wer, nothing will happen.
