SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before using the electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be
followed including the following:
• Read all instructions.
• Make sure that your voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the
rating label of the coee maker.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or in an
abnormal state. If the main cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, the nearest service agent or a qualified person.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons, do not
immerse the cord or plug in water or other liquid.
• Remove the plug from the wall outlet before cleaning the appliance and
when not in use. Allow the appliance to cool down completely before
taking o or attaching components, or before cleaning.
• The use of accessories not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer is prohibited. It may result in fire, electric shock and/or
person injury.
• The coee pot is designed for use with this appliance. It cannot be used
on a cooker top.
• Do not clean the coee pot with cleaners, steel wool pads or other
abrasive materials.
• Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of tables or counters,
or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place the coee maker on a hot surface or beside a fire to avoid
damage.
• To disconnect, remove the plug from the wall outlet. Always hold the
plug. Never pull by the cord.
• Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than its intended use.
Store it in a dry environment.

WARNING!
If these instructions are not followed, an accident may
lead to serious personal injury or property damage.
• Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used
near children.
• Be careful not to get burned by the steam.
• To disconnect, turn any control to “O”, then remove the plug from the
wall outlet.
• Do not operate the coee maker without water.
• Never use the appliance if the coee pot shows any signs of cracks.
Only use the coee pot with this appliance. Use the coee pot carefully
as it is very fragile.
• Do not place a hot coee pot on a wet or cold surface.
• Do not use a cracked coee pot or a coee pot with a loose or
weakened handle. Scalding may occur if the cover is removed during
the brewing process.
• Some parts of the appliance are hot during operation, so do not touch
with your hand. Use handles or knobs only.
• Never leave the empty coee pot on the warming plate, otherwise the
coee pot is liable to crack.
• This appliance is intended to be used in households and similar
environments such as:
- sta kitchen areas in shops, oces and other working environments,
- farm houses,
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential environments,
- bed and breakfast environments.
• Do not use outdoors.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children
unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children aged less
than 8 years. Children must not play with the appliance.
• This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
• Save these instructions.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Check that all accessories are complete and the unit is not damaged. Add clean water up to
the maximum level to brew several times without ground coee according to the steps below,
and then discard the water. Wash the detachable parts thoroughly with warm water.

USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER
1. Open the water tank lid and fill the water tank with cold drinking water. The water level
should not exceed the MAX level as indicated on the water gauge.
2. Swing the funnel holder out, put the funnel into the funnel holder, then place the filter paper
in the funnel. Make sure it is assembled correctly.
3. Add ground coee into the paper filter. Usually one cup of coee needs one level spoon of
ground coee, but you may adjust according to personal taste. Close the funnel holder. A click
will be heard when the funnel holder is closed completely.
4. Place the coee pot horizontally on the warming plate.
5. Plug the power cord into the power outlet.
6. Press the switch down. The indicator will be illuminated. The appliance will begin working.
NOTE! During the brewing process, you may remove the coee pot to serve coee
for a duration of no more than 30 seconds, and the coee maker will stop dripping
automatically. If the serving time exceeds 30 seconds, the coee will overflow the funnel.
7. Once the coee is brewed, one minute after the coee stops dripping out, remove the
coee pot, pour and serve.
NOTE! The brewed coee you get will be slightly less than the water you have added as
some water is absorbed by coee powder. DO NOT touch cover, warming plate and so
on when operating as they are very hot.
8. Once the process is finished, if you do not want to serve immediately, leave the appliance
on. The coee maker will switch o autmatically after 40 minutes. For an optimum
coee taste, serve just after brewing.
9. Always turn the coee maker o and disconnect the power supply after use.
NOTE! Be careful when pouring the coee out, as you may burn yourself as freshly
brewed coee is very hot.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION! Always unplug the product from electrical outlet and allow the warming plate to
cool completely before cleaning it. Never immerse the unit or power cord into water or any
other liquid for cleaning.
1. Clean all detachable parts after each use in hot, soapy water.
2. Wipe the product’s exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove any stains.
3. Water droplets may build up in the area above the funnel and drip onto the product base
during brewing. To control the dripping, wipe o the area with a clean, dry cloth after
each use of the product.
4. Use a damp cloth to gently wipe the warming plate. Never use abrasive cleaner to clean it.

REMOVING MINERAL DEPOSITS
To keep your coee maker operating eciently, you should clean away any mineral deposits
left by the water periodically, depending on the water quality in your area and how often the
appliance is used. We recommend decalcifying your coee maker as follows: use a solution
of white vinegar and cold water. A solution of two tablespoons (30 ml) white vinegar in one
coee pot of cold water works best.
1. Fill the tank with the vinegar solution to the maximum level as indicated on the water
gauge.
2. Place the glass coee pot on the warming plate.
3. Make sure the paper filter (without ground coee) and funnel are assembled in place.
4. Switch on the appliance and allow it to “brew” the de-scaling solution.
5. After “brewing” the solution, switch o the appliance.
6. Leave the solution to stand for 15 minutes and repeat step 3–5.
7. Switch on the appliance and run o the solution until the water tank is completely empty.
8. Rinse by operating the appliance with clean water at least 3 times.
HINTS FOR GREAT-TASTING COFFEE
• A clean coee maker is essential for making great-tasting coee. Regularly clean the
coee maker as specified in the CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE section. Always use fresh,
cold water in the coee maker.
• Store unused ground coee in a cool, dry place. After opening a pack of ground coee,
reseal it tightly and store it in a refrigerator to maintain its freshness.
• For an optimum coee taste, buy whole coee beans and finely grind them just before
brewing.
• Do not reuse ground coee, as this will greatly reduce the flavour of the coee. Reheating
the coee is not recommended, as coee is at its peak flavour immediately after brewing.
• Clean the coee maker when over-extraction causes oiliness. Small oil droplets on the
surface of brewed, black coee are due to the extraction of oil from the ground coee.
• Oiliness may occur more frequently if heavily roasted coees are used.

By law the product must be returned to the place of purchase along with the original
receipt in the event of a complaint. The user is liable for any damage to the product that
is caused by not using the product for its intended purpose or by not following this user
manual correctly. The right of complaint will not apply in these instances.
INFORMATION ABOUT HAZARDOUS WASTE
Used products should be handled separately from
household waste. They should be taken for recycling in
accordance with local rules for waste management.

SÄKERHETSINSTRUKTIONER
När du använder en elektrisk apparat bör du alltid vidta grundläggande

den inte fungerar som den ska. Om nätkabeln uppvisar skador måste
den bytas av tillverkaren, närmaste servicerepresentant eller någon
annan behörig person.
• Undvik att röra vid heta ytor. Använd alltid vred och reglage.
• För att skydda mot brand, elchock och personskada ska du inte doppa
sladden eller stickproppen i vatten eller annan vätska.
• Ta bort stickproppen från vägguttaget före rengöring och när du inte
använder kaebryggaren. Låt den svalna helt innan du tar bort eller
sätter dit delar eller rengör den.
• Tillbehör som inte rekommenderats av tillverkaren kan orsaka skada.
Det kan resultera i brand, elchock och/eller personskada.
• Kannan är avsedd för användning med denna apparat. Får inte
användas på spisen.
• Använd inte en grov rengöringssvamp, stålull eller andra slipande
material för att rengöra.
• Låt inte sladden hänga över kanten på ett bord eller en bänk, eller
komma i kontakt med heta ytor.
• Placera inte kaebryggaren på ett varmt underlag eller nära öppen eld
för att undvika skada.
• För att stänga av strömmen, ta ut stickproppen från vägguttaget. Dra
alltid i stickproppen, inte i sladden.
• Använd inte apparaten för något annat än det som den är avsedd för.

• Se till att hålla god uppsikt om du använder apparaten nära barn.
• Var försiktig så att du inte bränner dig på ångan.
• Stäng alltid av apparaten först, innan du drar ut stickproppen från
vägguttaget.
• Sätt inte på kaebryggaren utan vatten.
• Använd inte kannan om den är sprucken. Använd endast den kanna
som tillhör kaebryggaren. Var försiktig, kannan är ömtålig.
• Placera inte en varm kanna på ett vått eller kallt underlag.
• Använd inte kannan om den är sprucken eller om handtaget sitter löst.
• Du kan skålla dig om du tar av locket under bryggning.
• Rör inte vid bryggarens olika delar under bryggning. De blir varma.
Använd alltid vred och reglage.
• Lämna inte en tom kanna på värmeplattan, eftersom den kan spricka.
• Apparaten är avsedd för hushållsbruk och liknande miljöer, t.ex.
- personalkök i butiker, kontor och andra arbetsmiljöer,
- fritidshus,
- hotell-, motellrum och andra boenden,
- bed and breakfast.
• Använd inte utomhus.
• Denna apparat får användas av barn från 8 år om de använder
apparaten under överinseende av en vuxen eller om de fått
instruktioner om användningen så att de kan använda den på ett
säkert sätt, och förstår riskerna.
• Barn får endast rengöra apparaten och utföra normalt underhåll om

FÖRE FÖRSTA ANVÄNDNINGEN
Kontrollera att kaebryggaren är komplett och inte skadad. Tillsätt vatten upp till maxnivån
och brygg flera gånger utan kae, enligt stegen nedan, och häll bort vattnet. Diska de
avtagbara delarna med varmt vatten.
