Assembly Instructions
The storyteller chair

Before you commence the assembly process we recommend that you read these instructions
thoroughly beforehand to familiarise yourself with the assembly process and to also check that you have
the correct components. If for any reason you need assistance, you can find our contact details on the
final page of these instructions.
We highly recommend that any assembly is carried out on a flat, level surface if possible and that you
use another person to assist you if necessary.

2 x Arm uprights
2 x Arms
3 x 60mm, 7 x 70mm & 4 x 120mm M8 Coach
screws
4 x 75mm screws
10mm socket or spanner
Electric screwdriver with No2 Pozidrive bit
Or No2 Pozidrive Screwdriver

Step 2
Ensure that you have all of the correct parts as listed
on the front page of these instructions, including any
fixings.
Lay the Chair back on a clean, flat surface taking care
not to damage it.
Step 3
Step 4
Align the Seat panel centrally on the Chair back as
shown so that the fixing holes align with those in the
Chair back and secure into place with 3 x 70mm
coach screws.
Now align the Lower frame on the Chair back as
shown and after aligning the fixing holes as in Step
3....

...fix into place using 3 x 60mm coach screws.
Using an assistant, lift the back assembly into a
vertical position as shown.

Take one of the Arm uprights, align it vertically with
the pre-drilled hole in the Seat panel and secure into
placer with a 120mm coach screw.
Now secure the bottom of the Arm upright into the
lover frame with another 120mm coach screw.

Repeat Steps 7 - 8 for the remaining Arm upright.
Take one of the Arms, place it so that the underside is
flat on top of the Post and the square end is butted
against the Chair back. Now align its outer edge with
the edge of the Chair back and the Post.

Drive 2 x 75mm screws through the pre-drilled holes
in the arms into the top of the Arm upright.
Adjust the Arm vertically so that the pre-drilled holes
in the Chair back align with those in the Arm ends
before securing into place with 2 x 70mm coach
screws as shown.

Step 13
Repeat Steps 12 to 14 for the remaining Arm. Your
Storyteller chair is now complete.
