you to solve possible problems.
Please, read it and keep this with you.
Indication of Equipment
Medical, dental and laboratory instruments and supplies cleaning "removal of blood and small
particles on the instruments prior to disinfection". It should be used and handled by qualied
person (professional properly regulated, according to local legislation of the country) following
the instructions contained herein.
It is the user's obligation to use only the equipment in perfect conditions and protect himself/
herself, patients and others from possible dangers.
This equipment performs the cleaning of instruments and does not perform disinfection
and/or sterilization processes.

5
Principles and fundamentals applied to the product functioning
Cleaning occurs by cavitation, reaching uniformly throughout the material to be clean, even in
hard to reach places.
This occurs through an ultrasonic vibration generator, where a eld test is subjected to a vibration
in high frequency when immersed in liquid solution.
The vibration generates a negative pressure causing the emergence of micro bubbles in the liquid
and a positive pressure providing the collapse of these bubbles on the surface of the proof body
forming micro jets that are responsible for erosion and cleaning eect.

Degassing
The newly added water can generate many air bubbles on the walls of the tank. This circumstance
reduces the eect of cleaning in the early phase of the ultrasonic cleaning.
Turning on the degassing function dissipates the droplets and bubbles of air, improving the eciency
of cleaning (approximate time, 2 minutes).

Cleaning methods
Indirect clearing
Regular cleaning Appropriate places: Optical stores, laboratories chemical
and dental clinics.
Cleaning methods:
1. Add water to the cleaning tank to a level between the
lines "MIN" and "MAX" and above the object.
2. Place the objects to be cleaned inside the basket and
place the basket inside the tank.
3. Turn the main switch on. Press the TIME button to set the
clock between 5 and 10 minutes.
Press the On/O button once to start the cleaning.
Notes on the use of the basket:
1. The basket reduces friction between the objects and the
tank, but absorbs about 30% of ultrasonic energy reducing
the cleaning eect.
2. A metal basket absorbs less ultrasonic energy (about 8%).
Use tap water, chemical solutions are unnecessary in most
cases.
Place objects in a separate container. Use ultrasonic waves
to penetrate the container and to clean.
Appropriate places: Print shops, dental clinics, technical
assistance of mobile phones and electronics.
Dierent industries use dierent uids to be used inside the
containers:
1. Sterilization of medical instruments - Special Solution
(cleaning before sterilization).
2. Precision parts - Hexane (to dissolve fat to evaporate
quickly).
3. Technical assistance for mobile phones and electronics -
pure alcohol (to evaporate quickly).
4. Print shops - Acetone is often used (for dissolvingthe paint).
Do not allow contact between acetone and the plastic parts
of the equipment to avoid corrosion.
Use indirect clean and a glass or metal container for acetone.
We inform that the Bio Free Ultrasonic Washing Machines present outstanding results when
it is used only water in the cleaning process, however, in case any customer wishes to use
enzymatic detergents during the process there is no contraindication of it.
This model is equipped with a large tank. When cleaning small objects, the method of
"indirect cleaning" can be used with satisfactory results. Ultrassonic cleaners can also
do the job.

covering the container.
3. Press the TIME button to set the clock to 10 minutes. Press the On/O button once to start
cleaning. The ultrasonic waves will penetrate the container and clean the object.
Choose the container:
1. Plastic packaging - plastics are soft, and absorb about 30% of ultrasonic energy reducing the
eect of ultrasonic cleaning.
2. Aluminum containers - absorb about 20% of ultrasonic energy.
3. Stainless steel containers - absorb about 8% of ultrasonic energy.
5. When it stops, open the drain valve to release the dirty water. Close the valve later.
6. Clean the tank and replace the water. Wash objects for more 3 minutes to remove residual debris
and detergent.
Advanced cleaning
3Debris accumulated over a long period of time, very dirty
or greasy objects.
Appropriate places: Automotive repair and hardware
manufacturers stores.
Cleaning methods:
1. Large objects can be placed directly into the tank. Small
objects can be placed in the basket and then into the tank.
Do not place objects on each other, to avoid friction during
cleaning.
2. Add water to a level between MIN and MAX and above
the objects.
3. Turn the main switch on. Press the TEMP button to set
the temperature of the water to 45ºC.
Press TC to turn on the heater, it ashes. Close the lid.
The LED display shows the actual temperature of water.
When the water reaches the set temperature, it turns
o indicating that the device is o.
4. Press the TIME button to set the clock to 10 minutes.
Press the On/O button once to start cleaning. The fat
will be dissipated and appears to be something as a black
smoke on the water.

16
Special cleaning
4Objects made of silver, copper or brass darkened by
oxidation need special cleaning.
Appropriate places: Manufacturers of products made of
copper, silver or bronze.
Cleaning methods:
1. Place the objects in the basket and then in the tank; add
water to a level between MIN and MAX above the objects.
2. Turn the main switch on. Press the TEMP button to set
the temperature of the water to 50ºC. Press the TC button
to turn on the heater, it blinks.
Close the lid. The LED display shows the actual temperature
of water. When the water reaches the set temperature, it
turns o o indicating that the device is o.
The heater has dual protection. It will be disconnected
automatically after 50 minutes.
3. Press the TIME button to set 15 minutes for the clock.
4. Press the function button to select the degassing function.
The button lights . Press the On/O button to start the
degassing. After 2 minutes the device switches the mode
for normal cleaning automatically.
5. When cleaning is complete, remove the basket and objects. If there are many objects and some
debris remaining, add 5 minutes and repeat the cleaning.
6. Follow steps 5 and 6 in the advanced cleaning section to drain the dirty water, add clean water,
wash objects for more 3 minutes to remove the residual chemicals.
During cleaning the debris separate from the objects as "smoke”. The water becomes
blurred. This method will remove the rust and will cause objects to appear as new.

Open the lid, as shown, place the objects in the basket and
then place them in the cleaning tank. Add water to a level
between “MIN” and “MAX” and above the objects.
If the device is switched on without water, the ultrasonic
energy will not be absorbed. After more than15 seconds,
this procedure can damage the device or drastically
reduce its lifetime.
The extension of the cleaning period can result in:
a. Loosening the screws (if used).
b. Increased preexisting cracks.
c. Peeling on the lining of the object.
Press the On/O button once to start the cleaning.
During cleaning, the two blue LEDs from the unit will light,
a humming can be heard coming from the cleaning tank,
indicating that cleaning is in progress.
Closing the lid will reduce the noise level.
The LED display will count down, showing the remaining
cleaning time. When the display reads 0:00, the cleanup is
complete. To interrupt the cleaning at any time, press the
On/O button.
Connect the power cord into a power outlet and turn the
switch on. The LED display shows .
This is the most common conguration of the clock and or
operating status. If the clock needs to be adjusted, press the
TIME button . (As required) The clock can be set between
1 and 30 minutes.
The periods of common cleaning are 5, 10 and 15 minutes.
The unit is designed with overheating protection, to avoid extended and continuous
operation for long time. When the red light is on, the device cannot be activated, even if
it is forced to do so. The unit remain idle for about 20 minutes and can be restarted after
the green light illuminates.
