2.1 | Gebrauchsanleitung lesen und aufbewahren
Diese Gebrauchsanleitung bezieht sich ausschließlich auf das genannte saito Rückenpolster. Sie
enthält wichtige Hinweise zu Anbau, Sicherheit und Gewährleistung. Die Anleitung, insbesondere die
Sicherheitshinweise, sorgfältig durchlesen, bevor das Rückenpolster montiert wird. Die Nichtbeach-
tung kann zu Schäden am Rückenpolster selbst oder am Fahrzeug führen bzw. die Verkehrssicher-
heit des Fahrzeugs beeinträchtigen und zu Folgeschäden führen. Die Anleitung ist für die weitere
Nutzung aufzubewahren. Wenn das Rückenpolster an Dritte weitergeben wird, unbedingt diese
Anleitung mitgeben.
Die Gebrauchsanleitung basiert auf den in der Europäischen Union gültigen Normen und Regeln und
spiegelt den aktuellen Stand der Technik wider. Im Ausland sind ggf. auch landesspezische Richtli-
nien und Gesetze zu beachten.

Die folgenden Symbole und Signalwörter werden in dieser Anleitung verwendet.
3 | Sicherheit
3.1 | Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das vorliegende Rückenpolster ist ausschließlich für Topcases der Marke saito geeignet. Es wird an
der Rückseite des Deckels des Koffers angeschraubt und soll den Komfort verbessern.
Das saito Rückenpolster darf nur wie in dieser Anleitung beschrieben verwendet werden.
Jede andere Verwendung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß und kann zu Sachschäden
führen. Der Hersteller oder Händler übernimmt keine Haftung für Schäden, die durch nicht
bestimmungsgemäßen oder falschen Gebrauch entstanden sind.
3.2 | Sicherheitshinweise
WARNUNG!
Gefahren für Kinder und Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen
oder mentalen Fähigkeiten (beispielsweise teilweise Behinderte, ältere Per-
sonen mit Einschränkung ihrer physischen und mentalen Fähigkeiten) oder
Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen (beispielsweise ältere Kinder)!
• Zum Lieferumfang gehören verschluckbare Kleinteile sowie
Verpackungsmaterial. Diese Teile von Kindern fernhalten, da beim
Verschlucken Erstickungsgefahr besteht.

• Vor jeder Fahrt vergewissern, dass das Rückenpolster fest angebracht ist. Ein
sich lösendes Rückenpolster kann während der Fahrt in den nachfolgenden
oder Gegenverkehr iegen und somit zu schweren Unfällen führen.
WARNUNG! Dieses Signalsymbol/-wort bezeichnet eine Gefährdung mit einem
mittleren Risikograd, die, wenn sie nicht vermieden wird, den Tod
oder eine schwere Verletzung zur Folge haben kann.
Dieses Symbol gibt nützliche Zusatzinformationen zum
Zusammenbau oder zum Betrieb.
Dieses Symbol kennzeichnet die Wiederverwertbarkeit von
Verpackungen und Produkt selbst.

4 | Montage
Das Fahrzeug sicher an einem hellen und sauberen Ort aufbocken.
Die vier selbstschneidenden Schrauben mit einem Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher mittig in die vier
vorgepunkteten, markierten runden Anschraubpunkte auf der Innenseite des Topcasedeckels
eindrehen, bis die Spitzen der Schrauben ca. 1 mm aus dem Kofferdeckel ragen. (Abb. 1).
Nun das Rückenpolster von der Außenseite so auf die Schrauben setzen, dass diese mit den Spitzen
in die Schraublöcher auf der Rückenpolster-Rückseite ragen (Abb. 2).

Jetzt die Schrauben vollständig in das Rückenpolster einschrauben, sodass dieses bündig an den
Topcasedeckel gezogen wird.
Bitte beachten, dass nach dem Entfernen des Rückenpolsters die vier Schraubenlöcher
im Topcasedeckel zu sehen sein werden.

5 | Lagerung
Das nicht montierte Rückenpolster in einem vor Witterung und Feuchtigkeit geschützten
geschlossenen Raum aufbewahren. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit von max. 80% sollte nicht überschritten
werden.
6 |ReinigungundPege
Das Rückenpolster ausschließlich mit warmer Seifenlauge und einem weichen, fusselfreien Tuch
reinigen. Ein Kunststoffpegemittel schützt das Material vor Austrocknung/ Versprödung.
7 | Gewährleistung
Für das vorliegende Produkt gilt die gesetzliche Gewährleistung von zwei Jahren. Der Gewährleis-
tungszeitraum beginnt ab dem Kaufdatum. Gebrauchsspuren, Zweckentfremdung, nicht bestim-
mungsgemäßer Gebrauch und Schäden, die aus einem Unfall, einer Manipulation oder einem
Reparaturversuch durch unautorisierte Kundendienste oder Personen resultieren, sind von der
Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen.
8 | Entsorgung
Verpackungsmaterial sowie das Produkt selbst, sind gemäß den regionalen, behördlichen
Bestimmungen zu entsorgen.

These instructions for use apply exclusively to the aforementioned saito back cushion. They
contain important information on installation, safety and the warranty. Read these instructions
carefully, in particular the safety instructions, before the back cushion is installed. Failure to follow
the instructions can result in damage to the back cushion itself or to your motorcycle, make it less
safe to ride on the road, and possibly cause consequential damage. Keep these instructions for
future reference. If you pass the back cushion on to a third party, you must also hand over these
instructions.
The instructions for use are based on the standards and regulations applicable in the European
Union and reect current state-of-the-art technology. If abroad, you should also observe any country-
specic guidelines and laws.

3.1 | Intended use
This back cushion is suitable for saito branded top boxes only. It is screwed to the rear of the cover
of the case, and is designed to improve comfort.
The saito back cushion must only be used as described in these instructions. Any other use is
considered improper use and can result in material damage. The manufacturer and supplier accept
no liability for damage caused by improper or incorrect use.
3.2 | Safety instructions
WARNING!
Danger for children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilities (e.g. partially disabled persons, elderly persons with reduced physical
and mental abilities) or lack of experience and knowledge (e.g. older children)!
• The product includes small parts and packaging which could be swallowed.
Keep these out of the reach of children, as there is a risk of asphyxiation if they
are swallowed.

• Before every trip, check that the back cushion is rmly in place. If the back
cushion comes loose during the journey, it can y into the following or
oncoming trac and cause serious accidents.

4 | Installation
Jack up the vehicle securely in a well-lit and clean location.
Screw the four self-tapping screws into the four pre-marked round screw points in the middle on the
inside of the top box cover until the tips of the screws protrude approximately 1mm from the case
cover. (Fig.1).
Then place the back cushion on the screws from the outside so that they protrude into the screw
holes at the rear of the back cushion (Fig.2).

Now screw the screws into the back cushion all the way so that the cushion is pulled ush with the
top box cover.
Please note that the four screw holes in the top box cover will be visible after removing
the back cushion.

5 | Storage
If you are not installing the back cushion immediately, store it in a closed room where it is protected
from the weather and moisture. The air humidity should not exceed 80%.
6 | Cleaning and care
Only ever clean the back cushion with warm soapy water and a soft, lint-free cloth. A plastic care
product protects the material from drying out/becoming brittle.
7 | Warranty
This product comes with the statutory two-year warranty. The warranty period begins on the date of
purchase. It does not cover normal wear and tear, use for anything other than the intended purpose,
or damage caused by an accident, tampering or attempted repairs by unauthorised persons or
customer service departments.
8 | Disposal
Dispose of packaging material and the product itself in accordance with applicable local
regulations.

Ce mode d'emploi correspond uniquement au dosseret saito désigné. Il contient des remarques
importantes concernant le montage, la sécurité et la garantie. Lisez attentivement les instructions,
en particulier les consignes de sécurité, dans leur intégralité avant de monter le dosseret. Le non-
respect de ce mode d'emploi peut entraîner des dommages sur le dosseret lui-même ou sur le
véhicule, nuire à la sécurité routière du véhicule et entraîner des dommages consécutifs. Conservez
le présent mode d'emploi pour l'utilisation ultérieure. Si vous cédez le dosseret à un tiers, veuillez

Le présent dosseret convient uniquement aux top cases de la marque saito. Il se visse à l'arrière du
couvercle du top case et est destiné à améliorer le confort.
Le dosseret saito ne doit être utilisé que comme décrit dans le présent mode d'emploi. Toute autre
utilisation est considérée comme non conforme et peut entraîner des dommages matériels. Le
fabricant et le revendeur déclinent toute responsabilité pour tout dommage dû à une utilisation non
conforme ou incorrecte.
3.2 | Consignes de sécurité

4 | Montage
Levez votre véhicule en toute sécurité dans un lieu propre et bien éclairé.
Vissez les quatrevis autotaraudeuses à l'aide d'un tournevis cruciforme au centre des quatrepoints
de vissage ronds prémarqués à l'intérieur du couvercle du top case, jusqu'à ce que les pointes des
vis dépassent du couvercle sur environ 1mm (ill. 1).
Placez ensuite le dosseret de l'extérieur, sur les vis, de manière à ce que les extrémités des vis
pénètrent dans les taraudages situés à l'arrière du dosseret (ill.2).

Vissez ensuite entièrement les vis dans le dosseret, de manière à ce qu'il soit plaqué contre le
couvercle du top case.
Notez que lorsque vous retirez le dosseret, les quatretrous de vis sont visibles dans le
couvercle du top case.

5 | Stockage
Conservez le dosseret pas encore monté dans une pièce fermée à l'abri des intempéries et de
l'humidité. L'humidité de l'air ne doit pas dépasser 80%.
6 | Nettoyage et entretien
Nettoyez le dosseret uniquement avec de l'eau savonneuse chaude et un chiffon doux non
pelucheux. Un produit d'entretien pour plastique protège le matériau du dessèchement et l'empêche
de se fragiliser.
7 | Garantie légale
Le présent produit est couvert par la garantie légale de deuxans. La période de garantie commence
à compter de la date d'achat. Tout signe d'usure, toute utilisation non conforme ou à des ns autres
que celles prévues, tout dommage dû à un accident, à une manipulation ou à une tentative de
réparation par un service client ou par une personne non autorisés sont exclus de la garantie.
8 | Élimination
