IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read all instructions before using
1. Always unplug your Salton Jewelry Spa'" immediately after using,
while the activator switch is in the off position.
2. Always fill your Jewelry Spa" with liquid while it is unplugged.
Make sure the Jewelry Spa'* is unplugged prior to emptying
liquids.
3. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall into a tub or sink.
4. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
5. Do not reach for an appltance that has fallen into water. Unplug
immediately.
Warning: To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire
or injury to persons:
1. An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
2. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on,
or near children or invalids.
3. Use this appliance only for itd' intended use as described in the
manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by Salton
Houbewares.
4. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, i{
it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or
dropped into water. Return the appliance to a service center for
examination and repair.
5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
6. Do not let cord hang over edge of table, counter or touch hot
surfaces.
7. Do not use flammable or toxic liquids'
8. Never drop or insert any object into any electrical opening.
9. Keep out of the reach of children.
10. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized
outlet only one way. li the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. lf it still dbes not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

How to Use Your
Salton Jewelry Spa'.
1. Fill Spa chamber (c)to the water line with clean, warm water.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of mild liquid dishsoap.
2. Put jewelry to be cleaned in baskets, (b) taking care not to
overload basket.
3. Place baskets into chamber with handle grips turned into the
center portion of the Spa. Place lid (a) onto the Jewelry SpaJ"
and plug into a 120 volt outlet.
4. Move activator switch (d) into the marked "High" position.
After five to six minutes, move the switch back to "Offl'
5. Unplug the Jewelry SpaJ. remove lid, jewelry baskets and
empty liquid from Spa chamber. Refill with fresh, clean water.
6. Replace trays, lid and plug into 120 volt outlet.
7. Move activator switch into "Low" position for one minute of
sonic treatment.
8. Switch to Off, remove lid and hang trays on Spa side rim for
- air drying.=---
9. Remove jewelry and place on soft, lint free cloth.
10. Unplug the Jewelry Spa" and pour out liquid.
11. For best results always use fresir water.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Machines distributed by Salton Housewares, tnc. are warranted for
one year from date of purchase against defects in workmanship and
material During that period these defects will be repaired or the product
will be replaced at Salton's option, without charge. This warranty covers
normal consumer usage and does not cover damage which occurs in
shipment or failure which results from alteration, accident, mtsuse,
abuse, neglect, installation, commercial use or improper maintenance.
This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated
rn the USA. and does not extend to any units which have been used in
vioiation ol written instructrons {urnished by Salton Housewares, lnc., or
to units which have been altered or modified without authorization o{
Salton Housewares, lnc., or to damage to products or parts thereof
whrch have had the serial number removed, altered, defaced or
renderecj illegible.

function, you should first call toll free 1-80C 233 9054 between the hours of 9:00 am and
5:00 pm Central Standard Time and ask lor CONSUMER CUSTOMER SERVICE stating
that you are a consumer with a probl-em _ll the problem cannot be resolved, yotl will be
asked to return the machtne to the factory for repair Under no crrcumstances should you
attempt to open the housing and repair the machine. Should you do this, your warranty
will be vorded

Be sure to enclose:
a. Your name, address and phone number.
b. The date of purchase (or receipt as a gift).
c. An explanation of the malfunction or reason for return

e. To insure prompt "ln-Warranty" service, be sure to include proof of date of
purchase.
