wWARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard. This appliance is provided with a grounded
(3-prong) plug to reduce the risk of electric shock. The plug ts only one way into a grounded
outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the plug by modifying the plug in any way or by
using an adapter. If the plug does not t into the outlet, have an electrician replace the outlet.
The length of the cord used on this appliance was selected to reduce the hazards of
becoming tangled in or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord is necessary, an approved
extension cord may be used. The electrical rating of the extension cord must be equal to or
greater than the rating of the appliance. The extension cord must be a grounding-type, 3-wire
cord. Care must be taken to arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the
countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or accidentally tripped over.
If the auger assembly locks and will not move, it will damage the motor.
Do not use. Call the toll-free customer service number for information.
PARTS AND FEATURES
Remove all parts from packaging material and check to be sure there are no missing parts.
Clean and sanitize the Wheatgrass Juicer as indicated in the "Care and Cleaning" section
of this manual before using it for the rst time.
DO NOT IMMERSE THE JUICER MOTOR IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS.
The Wheatgrass Juicer head assembly has been upgraded to include a waste
valve washer. As with most commercial wheatgrass juicers, overtightening
the waste valve (also referred to as the end cap or outlet screw) is a common
occurrence that inhibits the production of juice, buildup of pulp, and causes
wear on the parts. The addition of the head assembly washer prevents
accidental overtightening of the waste valve and will prolong the life of parts.
