Generalinformation
WARNING

a safe place in orderto be able to use it as reference
afterinstallation.
• Formaximum safety, installers should always carefully
read the following warnings.
• Store the operation and installation manual in a safe
location and rememberto hand it overtothe new
ownerif the airconditioneris sold ortransferred.
• The manufacturershall not be responsible for
damage originating from unauthorized changes or
the improperconnection of electricity and/orthe
requirements set forth in the "Operating limits" table,
included in the Technical Data Book. Doing so shall
immediatelyvoid the product warranty.
• Do not use the units if damaged. If problems occur,
switchthe unit off and disconnect it from the power
supply.
• In orderto prevent electric shocks, fires orinjuries, always
stop the unit, disablethe protection switch and contact
SAMSUNG’s technical support if the unit produces smoke, if
the powercable is hot ordamaged orif the unit isvery noisy.
• Always rememberto inspect the unit, electric connections,
refrigerant pipe and protections regularly. These operations
should be performed byqualified personnel only.
• The unit contains moving parts,which should always be
kept out of the reach of children.
• Do not attemptto repair, move, alterorreinstallthe unit. If
performed byunauthorized personnel, these operations may
cause electric shocks orfires.
• Do not place containerswith liquids orotherobjects on the
unit.
• All the materials usedforthe manufacture and packaging of
the airconditionerare recyclable.
• The packing material must be disposed of in accordance
with current laws.
• The airconditionercontains a refrigerant that hasto be
disposed of as specialwaste. Atthe end of its life cycle, the
airconditionermust be disposed of in authorized centers
orreturned to the retailerso that it can be disposed of
correctlyand safely.
• Wearprotective equipment (such as safetygloves, goggles,
and headgear) during installation and maintenanceworks.
Installation/repairtechnicians maybe injured if protective
equipment is not properlyequipped.
• This appliance is not intended foruse by persons (including
