Subject Diode change Guide (Low MIC Volume issue)
1. Purpose
- To inform All ASCs and Contact Centers of information about technical TIP
2. Symptom
- MIC Volume is too low
3. Instruction
- If MIC Volume is too low, Check ESD Diode.
- If Diode is assembled in the opposite direction, remove Diode and solder new one
in correct direction refer to below.
1) Disassembly
Description
Step 1. Disassemble Rear (1)
Notice
1) Unscrew
7 Points 2) Disassemble 3 Point
in volume key side
3) Disassemble
2Point in upside
4) Disassemble 3Point
in SD Card side

Step 2 Disassemble Rear (2)
Step 3. Disassemble PBA
2) Diode change
※Change Diode, if Diode is assembled in wrong direction.
Description
Step 1. Check Diode Direction
1) Disassemble rear
from upside
2) Unscrew 1 Point
※Caution
Take care not to damage Locker
1) Disassemble PBA refer to pictures 2) Disassemble connector

Step 2 Diode Change

Step 1. Assemble PBA
Step 2 Assemble Rear (1)
1) Change Diode with a Soldering Iron
※Caution
Take care not to damage Key FPCB Connector

Check Silk Line

Assemble LCD FPCB
1) Assemble connector
Key Connector
→LCD Connector
2) Assemble PBA and Front
※Caution
Keep V shape not to damage FPCB
2) Insert Hook and assemble Rear
1) Screw 1 Point
Torque : 1.0 ~ 1.2 Kgf·cm/Size : 1.4 * 5

Step 3. Assemble Rear (2)

1) Push Rear refer to pictures
1) Screw 7 Point
1 →2 →3 →4 →5 →6 →7
Torque : 1.0 ~ 1.2 Kgf·cm / Size : 1.4 * 5
