Power
• Do not overload walloutlets, extension cords,
or adapters beyond theirvoltage and capacity.
It may cause fire or electric shock. Refer tothe

• Power-supply cords should be placed so that
they are notlikelyto be walked on or pinched by
items placed upon or against them. Pay particular

Installation

Providing properventilation for your Projector
When you install your Projector, maintain a distance
ofat least 4 inches (10 cm) between the Projector
and other objects (walls, cabinet sides, etc.) to
ensure proper ventilation. Failing to maintain proper
ventilation may result in afire or a problem with
the product caused by an increase in its internal
temperature.
• When operating the Projector in an enclosed space,
allowat least19 inches (50 cm) clearance around
the intake and exhaust vents.
Operation
• Move the product by holding the body. Do not hold
the Lens Cap.
• This apparatus uses batteries. In your community,
there might be environmental regulations that
require you to dispose of these batteries properly.
Please contact your localauthoritiesfor disposal or
recycling information.
• Store the accessories (remote control, or etc.) in a
location safely out of the reach of children.
• When you need toturn offthe Projector
completely, waituntilthe fan stops completely so
thatthe Projector can cool down completely.
• Do not dispose of remote control or batteries in
afire.
• Do notshort-circuit, disassemble, or overheat the
batteries.

• Do not drop or strikethe product. Ifthe product is
damaged, disconnect the power cord and contacta
Samsung service center.
• CAUTION : There is danger of an explosion if you
replace the batteries used in the remote withthe
wrong type of battery. Replace onlywiththe same
orequivalent type.

Caring for the Projector
• To clean this apparatus, unplug the power cord
from thewalloutlet and wipe the productwith
a soft, dry cloth. Do not use any chemicals such
as wax, benzene, alcohol, thinners, insecticide,
airfresheners, lubricants, or detergents. These
chemicals can damage the appearance ofthe
Projector or erase theprinting on the product.
• The exteriorofthe Projector can get scratched
during cleaning. Be sure to wipe the exterior
carefully using asoftcloth to prevent scratches.
• Do not spray water or any liquid directly onto the
Projector. Any liquidthat goes intothe product may
cause a failure, fire, orelectric shock.

Internet secur;ty
Samsung takes anumberof steps toprotectits
Internet-compatible Projectors against unauthorized
incursions and hacking. For example, certain sensitive
communications between the Projector and the
Internet servers are encrypted. In addition, the
Projector's operating system has adopted controls to
prevent theinstallation of unauthorized applications.
Although we take steps toprotect your Projector and
personal information, no Internet-connected device
or transmission is completely secure. We therefore
encourage you to take additional steps to safeguard
your Projector, secure your Internet connection, and
minimize the risk of unauthorized access. These steps
a re listed below:
• When Samsung releases software updates to
improve the security ofyour Projector, you should
promptlyinstall these updates. To automatically
receive these updates, turn on Auto Update in the
Projector's menu (8 > (leftdirectional button)
>®Settings> Support> Software Update > Auto
Update). When an update is available, a popup
message appears on the Projector screen. Accept
the software download and update by selecting
Yes when prompted. Take steps to secure your
wireless access point and network. Your access
point's manual should provide additionaldetails
about how toimplementthefollowing measures:
- Secure your wireless access point's
management settings witha unique password
to prevent unauthorized changes to security
related settings.
-Implement standard encryption (e.g., WPA2
encryption) on your wireless access pointto
secure your wireless network signal.
- Secure access to your wireless networkwith a
hard-to-guess password.
- Confirm your access point's firewallsetting is
enabled (if applicable).
- Make sure thatall your Internet-connected
devices are behind your network's firewall.
- If your access pointor modem has a standby
mode button, use it to disconnect your home
networkfrom the Internet when it is not in use.
• Use strong passwords forall your Internet accounts
(Netflix, Facebook, etc.).
• If any unexpected messages appearon your
Projector screen requesting permission tolinka
device or enable a remote session, do NOT accept.
• Do notvisit suspicious websites and do not install
any suspicious programs. We recommend that
users install only those authorized apps provided
by Samsung through Samsung Smart Hub.

01 Product Overview
• To supply power via an externalbattery, ensure
that the battery supports PD (Power Delivery) and
its single port has outputof 50 Wor more.
• When the Projector is not used, cover it withthe
Lens Cap toprotectthe lens and distance sensor.
If the distance sensor is contaminated by dust, the
Focus or Keystone function may notwork properly.
• When the product is tilted, project images ensuring
thatthe Samsung logo faces the floor.

Setting the MIC On/Off
You can turnthe MIC on oroff by
using the MIC switch on the side
ofthe Projector.
• During analysis using data
from the MIC, the data is not
saved.

Runs Voice Assistant. Press and hold the button,
say a command, and then release the buttonto run
Voice Assistant.
• The supported Voice Assistant's languages and
features may differ by geographical region.
~ Keep the remote more than 0.6 inches (15.24
mm) from yourface when using and speaking
to Voice Assistant through the mic on the
remote.

• Press to bring up the virtual numeric pad on the

Enter Number toentera numeric value.
• Press and hold for more than1 second to
activatethe Focus feature.

- Use the Samsung Smart Remote less than 20 feet
(6 m) from the Projector. The usable distance may
vary withthe wireless environmental conditions.
- The images, buttons, and functions ofthe Samsung
Smart Remote may differwiththe model or
geographical area.
Charging thebattery

when charging. When the battery is fully charged, the

• The USB Cable is not provided.

- It is recommended to use an original Samsung
charger (with USB cable). Otherwise, it may cause
performance degradation or failure ofthe product.
In this case, the warranty service is not applicable.
- When the remote control does notwork due to low
battery, charge it by using the USB-C type port.

Using Accessibility Functions
The Accessibility Shortcuts button on your remote
provides easy access tothe accessibility functions on
your Projector.

Accessibility Shortcuts menu.
• Some functions may not appear depending on the
access method.
* CC/VD works the same as CC/AD. The marked name
can be changed to CC/AD.

Voice Guide Settings
You can activate voice guides that describe the menu
options aloud to aid thevisually impaired. To activate
thisfunction, set Voice Guide to On. With Voice Guide
on, the Projector provides voice guides for channel
change, volume adjust, information on current and
upcoming programs, schedule viewing, other Projector
functions, various content in the Web Browser, and
in Search.
• You can configure the volume, speed, pitch ofthe
Voice Guide, and adjust background sound volume
during voice guidance.
• The Voice Guide is provided in the language that
is specified on the Language screen. English is
always supported. However, some languages are
not supported by Voice Guide even though they are
listed in the Language screen.
Caption Settings
Set Caption to On to watch programs with the captions
displayed.
• Captions are not displayed by programs that do not
support captions.

Sign Language Zoom
You can zoom in the sign language screen when
the program you are watching provides it. First, set
Sign Language Zoom to On, and then select Edit
Sign Language Zoom to change the position and
magnification ofthe sign language screen.
Learn Remote
This function helps individualswithavisual
impairmentto learn the positions ofthe buttons on
the remote control. When thisfunction is activated,
you can press abutton on the remote control and the
Projector willtell you its name. Press the C!) (Return)
buttontwiceto exit Learn Remote.
Learn Menu Screen
Learn the menus on the Projector screen. Once
enabled, your Projector willtell you thestructure and
features ofthe menus you select.

Picture Off
Turn offthe Projector screen and provide only sound
to reduce overall power consumption. When you press
any button on the remote controlwiththe screen off,
the Projector screen is returned to on.
Multi-output Audio
You can turn on the Projector speaker and aBluetooth
device atthe same time. When thisfunction is active,
you can setthe volume ofthe Bluetooth device higher
than the volume ofthe Projector speaker.
• A maximum oftwo Bluetooth devices can be
connected simultaneously.
High Contrast
You can change major service screens towhite text
on a black background or change thetransparent
Projector menus to opaque so thattext can be more
easily read. To activatethisfunction, set High Contrast
to On.
Zoom Menu and Text
You can enlarge the size ofthefont on the screen. To
activate, set Zoom Menu and Text to On.
Grayscale
You can change the color of the Projector screen toa
black and whitetoneto sharpen blurred edges caused
by colors.
• If Grayscale is on, some Accessibility menus are
not available.
Color Inversion
You can invertthe colors ofthe text and background
forthesetting menus displayed on the Projector
screen to make it easier to read them.
• If Color Inversion is on, some Accessibility menus
are not available.
Slow Button Repeat
You can configurethe operation speed of the remote
control buttons so thatthey slow down when you
continually press and hold them. First, set Slow Button
Repeat to On , and then adjustthe operation speed in
Repeat Interval.

03 Initial Setup
When you turn on your Projector forthefirsttime,
it immediatelystartstheInitial Setup. Follow the
instructions displayed on the screen and configure
the Projector's basic settingsto suityourviewing
environment.
• You will need a Samsung Account to access our
network-based smart services. If you choose notto
log in, you willonlygeta connection toterrestrial
TV (applicable to devices withtuners only) and
external devices, e.g. via HDMI.

The Projectorwon 't turn on.
• Make sure thatthe power cord is securely plugged
intothe Projector and thewall outlet.
• Make sure thatthewalloutlet is working and the
remote control sensor ofthe Projector is lit and
glowing asolidwhite.
• Try pressing the Power button ofthe Projector to
make sure thatthe problem is notwiththe remote
control. Ifthe Projector turns on, refer to "The
remote control does not work."
The remote control does notwork.
• Check if the remote control sensor ofthe Projector
blinks when you press theG)button on the remote
control.
- When the remote's battery is discharged,
charge the battery using the USB charging port
(C-type), orturn over the remote to expose the
solarcellto light.
• Try pointing the remote directlyatthe Projector
from 5ft. to6ft. (1.5-1.8 m) away.
• Make sure to pair the remote tothe Projector.

Decreasing power consumption
When you shutthe Projector off, it enters Standby
mode. In Standby mode, it continues todrawa small
amount of power. To decrease power consumption,
unplug the power cord when you don't intend to use
the Projector fora long time.

LIMITED WARRANTY TO ORIGINAL PURCHASER
This SAMSUNG brand product, as supplied and distributed by SAMSUNG and delivered new, in theoriginal carton
to theoriginal consumer purchaser, is warranted by SAMSUNG againstmanufacturing defects in materials and
workmanshipfor period of:

This limitedwarranty begins on theoriginal date of purchase, and is valid only on products purchased and used in
the United States. To receive warranty service, the purchaser mustcontact SAMSUNG forproblem determination and
service procedures.
Warranty service can only be performed by a SAMSUNG authorized service center. The originaldated bill of sale
must be presented upon request as proofof purchase to SAMSUNG or SAMSUNG's authorized service center.
SAMSUNG will repairor replace this product, atouroption and at no charge as stipulated herein, with new or
reconditioned parts orproducts if found to be defectiveduringthe limited warranty period specified above. All
replaced parts and products become the propertyof SAMSUNG and must be returned to SAMSUNG. Replacement
parts and products assume the remaining original warranty, orninety (90) days, whichever is longer.
Certain products are eligibleforIn-home service at Samsung's discretion. To receive in-home service, theproduct
must be unobstructed and accessible to service personnel. If during in-home service, repaircannot be completed, it
may be necessary to remove, repair and return the product. Ifin-home service is unavailable, SAMSUNG may elect, at
ouroption,toprovidefortransportation ofour choice to and from a SAMSUNG authorized service center. Otherwise,
transportation to and from the SAMSUNG authorized service center is the responsibilityofthe purchaser.
This limitedwarranty covers manufacturingdefects in materials and workmanship encountered in normal, and
except totheextentotherwise expressly provided for in thisstatement, noncommercial use ofthisproduct, and
shallnotapplytothefollowing, including, but not limited to: damage which occurs in shipment; delivery and
installation; applications and uses forwhichthisproduct was not intended; altered productorserial numbers;
cosmetic damage orexteriorfinishes; accidents, abuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning orother acts of nature; use
of products, equipment, systems, utilities, services, parts, supplies, accessories, applications, installations, repairs,
externalwiring or connectors notsupplied orauthorized by SAMSUNG which damage this productorresult in service
problems; incorrectelectricalline voltage, fluctuations and surges; customeradjustments and failure tofollow
operating instructions, cleaning, maintenance and environmental instructionsthat are covered and prescribed in the
instruction book; reception problems and distortion related to noise, echo, interferenceorothersignaltransmission
and deliveryproblems; orbrightness related tonormal aging or any other issues if the TV is used forcommercial or
non-normal consumer use. SAMSUNG does notwarrantuninterruptedorerror-freeoperation ofthe product.
