SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
This manual describes the functions and setting operations of the user setting menus. To operate
correctly, read this manual when setting or changing the user setting menus of the UPS. Please be sure
to also read the E11A Instruction Manual for details about UPS installation, operation, and
maintenance. Store this manual together with the E11A instruction manual in a safe place for
convenient reference.
UPS is an abbreviation for Uninterruptible Power Supply.

The UPS has a user settings menu, described in §2 “Setup Menu List”. The factory default setting of the
UPS is indicated by the “ *” mark in the “Default Setting” column. Configure each menu according to your
environment, your applications, and the specifications of the connected load devices. For details of setup
operations of each menu, see §3.1 to §3.29. Whenever you change a menu item setting, we recommend that
you place a check mark in the “Current Setting” column field of the Setup Menu List.
All of the user setting menu items can be selected and set by display LED blinking pattern.
Setup menu list and the blinking pattern of indicators on the control panel are illustrated in the following
figures. The control panel display varies depending on the UPS model. See Appendix “UPS Model name” to
check your UPS Model. The figures on each page show the example of E11A*** model. The setup operations
are also identical for E11A***-T or E11A351.

For the menus indicated by “RESTART” in
this column, restart of the UPS is required.

When you change the setting of the menus indicated by RESTART in the “Menu” column, its changes do not take effect
until you restart the UPS. If a restart is required, be sure to power off the load devices before resetting. See §11.3 “UPS
Shutdown (If Not to Be Used for More Than a Week)” in the
E11A Instruction Manual for information about how to shut
down the UPS, and §11.1 “UPS Startup” in the
E11A Instruction Manual for information about how to start the UPS.

The UPS switches to Double Conversion mode when the
frequency range is outside the setting. A smaller value provides
better precision, but increases the likelihood of switching to
Double Conversion mode if the input frequency is unstable.
Select “5%” if the UPS system is used with a device such as an
EG (Engine Generator) that has wide frequency fluctuations or
if you give priority to operation efficiency of the UPS.

power, and when AC power recovers, the output frequency

① Check that the UPS is in the following condition.
② Press and hold for 3 or 4 seconds. Then release it when two beeps are heard.
③ Quickly press (within 3 seconds) several times to set the 5 LEDs surrounded by in the figure
below to a blinking pattern such as the one in the figure.
④ Quickly press (within 3 seconds) several times to switch to the setting value LED blinking pattern
to select for the 4 LEDs surrounded by in the figure below.
⑤ Press and hold for 3 or 4 seconds.
Then release it when two beeps are heard.

If you miss the LED blinking pattern you want to select, continue pressing
the button repeatedly until the LED blinking pattern is redisplayed.
Tip
Set the interval (number of days) for the automatic
battery test. The test is carried out automatically
when the specified number of days has elapsed.

*1. Operation is possible regardless of whether
is ON or OFF.
*2. If these LEDs are blinking, Forced Bypass switch
may be set to “Bypass”. Set this switch to “Inverter”,
and restart the UPS.

The UPS switches to the user setting mode.
