Solar Digital Thermohygrometer Model PC-5200TRH
Thank you for purchasing the solar digital thermohygrometer model PC-5200TRH.
- This product is designed to measure temperature and humidity of atmosphere.
Do not use it for any other purposes.
- Read this manual thoroughly before using and keep it in a safe place for your future
reference.

* The upper LCD displays the current, the maximum and the minimum temperature and
the lower LCD displays the current, the maximum and the minimum humidity.
Before Use
Remove the clear film attached to the LCD.
Press the RESET button on the back of the unit for at least 5 seconds to clear the
previous readings and to start new maximum and minimum measurements for both
temperature and humidity.
How to Use
Desktop Use
(1) Detach the stand piece on the back of the unit.
(2) Insert the two pointed parts of the stand into the holes on the back of the unit.
(3) Place the thermohygrometer with its solar panel facing up for it to absorb the
solar power efficiently.
Wall-Mount Use
Use the hooking hole on the back of the unit to hang the instrument on a wall.
RESET Function
If you have a trouble with the display section, press the RESET button for at least 5
seconds.
Note: If pressing the RESET button does not solve the problem, contact the dealer
this instrument was purchased or contact us on our website.
Power Sources
Solar Battery
The solar battery on this unit operates at over 300 lux of intensity of illumination.
Button Cell Battery
-If the usage environment has 300lux, use the button cell battery to operate.
-The battery life is approximately 6 months of continuous use.
-If the display dims and any measurement errors occur, replace the battery.

Replacement of Battery
(1) Open the battery compartment lid by
turning counter-clockwise with a coin.
(2) Remove the used battery.
(3) Load a new battery with the right polarity
(+ and -).
Note: The preset battery may not last long
since it was installed for a monitoring purpose.
Warnings
Do not solder, short-circuit, disassemble, heat or fire a battery to avoid an exothermic
heat, a leakage of battery fluid or an explosion.
If the leaked fluid is spilt on your clothes or your skin, wash it off with water and if it
gets into your eyes, wash it off with clean water and seek a medical attention
immediately.
Batteries pose a danger of suffocation or poisoning if swallowed. Keep batteries out
of reach of children.
When disposing or storing a battery, seal the battery terminals with a tape to keep
away from a direct contact with metals and other batteries since the contact might
cause an explosion or damage.
For environment conservation, dispose used batteries in compliance with local rules
and regulations.
Cautions
Do not throw a used battery into a fire.
Always use a new battery for replacement. If a used battery is left in the unit, it might
leak and damage the instrument.
Do not use the instrument in an environment with extremely high or low temperature
or in direct contact with water.
Do not alter or disassemble the unit.
Do not drop or give a shock to the unit.
Use a soft and dry cloth for cleaning and maintenance.
