The dataset recorded by the Kistock is stored on the data
collector.
4.6 Kistock – data collector interface
4.6.1 Download the Kistock data on the data collector
Procedure to download data:
When data are transferred from the Kistock to the data collector, these measurement data are copied. Only the
sending of a new conguration with the data collector or the Kilog 2015 software allows to start an other dataset
(see procedure described page 9).
Device use
7
If the data collector does not detect any point to download:
he data collector displays “No Pts” error message.
his message indicates that the dataset did not start already or that
the rst point is not recorded yet.
Check that the dataset started:
If the Kistock is still waiting for dataset to start, it displays
ashing icon*.
Press the data collector OK key to start the dataset.
he data collector displays “ tart Yes”.
Press OK to conrm (to cancel, press elect., “ top no” displays
then press OK).

4.6.2 Reconfigure the Kistock and start an other measurement dataset
Once the measurement dataset is transferred to the data collector (see the downloading procedure page 7), it is possible to
start an other dataset directly from the data collector.
wo recording congurations can be sent:
•“Loop”: values are recorded continuously and when the storage capacity is full, the rst recorded values are
overwritten by the new ones.
OR
•“Total memory”: values are recorded until the storage capacity of the device is reached.
The conguration which is sent depends on the Kistock last conguration

Other conguration parameters (recording intervals, stop by button, etc.) remain unchanged.
If a conguration different from “Loop” or “Total memory” recording mode is required, please use the Kilog
2015 software: for more details about device conguration via software, please see the Kilog 2015 software user
manual.
8
Device use
Procedure to send a new conguration:
Once the dataset is transferred to the data collector (see downloading procedure described page 7, screens 1 to 3):
When a new conguration is sent on the Kistock with the data collector, two types of start can be sent: start by
PC or start by button. he type of start which is sent depends on an immediate start or not of the dataset with
the data collector.
Device use
9
No new conguration is sent:
he Kistock displays *.
he data collector displays “On”.
No new conguration has been sent on the Kistock.
To start a new measurement dataset, recongure the
device with the data collector, following the opposite
procedure, or with the Kilog 2015 software (please see the
Kilog 2015 software user manual).
A new conguration is sent:
he Kistock displays ashing icon*.
Device is waiting for start.
he data collector displays “On”.
A new conguration has been sent but
the dataset did not start.
he Kistock is automatically congured with
a type of start by button: the new dataset
can be started by pressing the OK key of the
Kistock.
An other measurement dataset starts:
he data collector displays the new
conguration transfer progression: 0-100%
then displays “On”.
he Kistock displays *
