IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
• Please read these operating instr ctions caref lly before connecting yo r kettle to the power s pply, in
order to avoid damage d e to incorrect se.
• Incorrect se of the device may damage the device and harm the ser.
• Before switching on the appliance for the first time please check if the technical specifications indicated on
the nit correspond to the mains parameters.
CAUTION! The pl g of the power cord is gro nding type and has a wire. Pl g the device only into the
corresponding gro nded sockets.
• The appliance is intended for se only in domestic aims. The nit is not intended for ind strial and
commercial se, and also for se in:
- kitchen area for the st ff of shops, offices and the other ind strial places
- farm ho ses
- hotels, motels, rest homes and other similar places by residents.
• Do not se o tside.
• Always npl g the device from the socket before cleaning the device or if Yo are not sing the device.
• The appliance is not intended for se for physically, sensory or mental disabled person (incl ding children)
or for person with lack of life experience or knowledge, if only they are nder s pervision or have been
instr cted abo t the se of the nit by responsible person.
• Children m st be nder control in order not to be allowed to play with the appliance.
• Do not leave switched-on device nattended.
• Do not se the parts which are not incl ded in the package.
• In case of power cord is damaged, it sho ld be replaced into the special cord from man fact re or the
service department.
• Do not s bmerge the device or the power cord in water or other liq ids. However, if this happened npl g
the device from the socket immediately and before sing the device again have q alified specialists check
the operability of the device.
• Make s re that the power cord doesn’t to ch sharp edges and hot s rfaces.
• Do not p ll the power cord and do not twist or wrap the cord aro nd the device.
• The m lticooker is to be sed only for cooking food. Never se the m lticooker for drying clothes, paper
and other items.
• Do not t rn the m lticooker when the pot is empty.
• Do not se the m lticooker witho t the pot.
• Do not p t the foodst ffs on the bottom of the m lticooker, always se the pot.
• Do not replace the pot with any other container.
• Do not se metal items which may scratch the pot.
• The inner coating of the pot may initially wear off, therefore be caref l when sing the pot.
• Follow cooking recipes.
• Do not let water get into the vent holes in order to avoid short circ it.
• If sing an extension cord make s re that maxim m capacity of the cord corresponds to the capacity of the
device.
• Ca tion! The device becomes hot d ring operation! If yo need to to ch the m lticooker when it is
operating se tacks or cooking gloves.
• Protect yo r face and hands from the steam coming o t of the valve.
• Do not insert metal and other items into the o tlet hole or into any other parts of the device.
• Do not cover the cover of the m lticooker with the towels or other items.
• Do not attempt to repair, adj st or replace parts in the appliance. Repair the malf nctioning appliance in the
nearest service center.
• If the prod ct has been exposed to temperat res below 0°C for some time it sho ld be kept at room
temperat re for at least 2 ho rs before t rning it on.
• The man fact rer reserves the right to introd ce minor changes into the prod ct design witho t prior
notice, nless s ch changes infl ence significantly the prod ct safety, performance, and f nctions.
• Prod ction date mentioned on the nit and/or on the packing materials and doc mentations.
INSTALLATION
• Make s re that there is no packaging material or any other items inside the m lticooker.
• Check whether the following remained ndamaged d ring the transportation: the cover; the casing;
additional appliances; the removable pot. In case yo notice any defects do not t rn on the device and
contact the salesperson or the service center.
• Place the device on a dry, even and heat-proof s rface, at least 30 cm from the edge of the work s rface.
• Do not place the device close to comb stible materials, explosives and self-igniting gases.
• Do not place the device close to a gas or electric stove or any other so rces of heat.
• Do not place the device very close to walls or f rnit re.
• Do not p t anything on top of the m lticooker. Do not cover the vent holes.
• Do not place the m lticooker in a kitchen cabinet. For proper operation the device needs free space for
ventilation: at least 20 cm from the top, 10 cm from the back and 5 cm from the sides.
