1. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1.1 SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS –
This manual contains important safety
and operating instructions.
1.2 Read, understand and follow all
instructions, cautions and warnings
listed in this manual. Failure to follow all
instructions and abide by all cautions and
warnings could result in personal injury,
injury to others and property damage.
1.3 DO NOT lie on top of blanket. Use as a
covering only.
1.4 DO NOT use the blanket while you have
another cover on top of it.
1.5 Administer close supervision when using
around children, to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
1.6 This appliance is not intended for use by
people (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning the use of the
appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
1.7 Close supervision is necessary when
used around infants, children, or anyone
incapable of unplugging the blanket.
1.8 DO NOT use the blanket on anyone
overly sensitive or insensitive to heat.
1.9 DO NOT use the blanket as an animal
heating appliance, as they can damage
the blanket or power cord and cause an
electric shock or burns.
1.10 Unplug the blanket when not in use or if
the vehicle is unattended.
1.11 To protect against electric shock, DO NOT
immerse the plug or blanket in any liquid.
1.12 DO NOT use the blanket if it is wet.
1.13 DO NOT use the blanket with a damaged
plug or cord, or if the blanket has been
damaged in any way.
1.14 DO NOT use the blanket for anything
other than its intended use.
1.15 NEVER wrap the power cord around the
blanket, as this may damage the cord.
1.16 DO NOT use the blanket while it is folded
or scrunched up, or it will overheat and
cause the internal circuit breaker to trip.
1.17 DO NOT insert pins into blanket.
1.18 This blanket operates with a 12V DC
system. Always start the vehicle’s engine
before plugging in the blanket.
1.19 The power cord has an 7 amp in-line fuse.
If necessary, replace the fuse only with a
new one of the same type and rating.
2. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
For best results, plug into the 12V DC
socket of a running vehicle.
2.1 Start the vehicle’s engine.
2.2 Plug the blanket into the vehicle’s
12V DC accessory outlet. The LED
indicator located on the plug will light to
show that the blanket is receiving power.
The blanket will automatically maintain a
warm, comfortable temperature.
3. CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
3.1 Do not use bleach on the blanket.
3.2 Do not machine wash or dry.
3.3 Do not dry clean.
3.4 Spot wash by hand with a wet cloth or soft
brush and a mild detergent.
3.5 Allow the blanket to dry thoroughly before
using.
4. STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
4.1 When not in use, allow blanket to cool
down before folding. Gently fold the
blanket and place back into the original
package.
4.2 Do not crease the blanket by placing
items on top of it during storage.
5. TROUBLESHOOTING
This blanket is equipped with a 7 amp
fuse. If the 12V circuit fails to operate, try
the following suggestions:
5.1 Unplug the blanket from the power supply
and make sure the receptacle is clean
and the plug is making a good contact.
5.2 Check the blanket’s fuse located in the
end of the 12V DC accessory plug. If the
fuse is blown, replace it with a fuse of the
same type and rating.
5.3 Check the vehicle’s fuse panel. If the
fuse is blown, replace it with a fuse of the
same type and rating.
