Please remember that no helmet can protect you against
all possible or foreseeable impacts even when built with
the latest and best materials and technology.
The following information will help you to enjoy and properly
care for your helmet.
A helmet’s main function is to protect your head from impact
in case of an accident. To accomplish this, a helmets surrounds
your head with a matrix of materials designed to absorb and
cushion impact energy in some accidents. A helmet is also
designed to provide you with comfort while riding at speed
and in various weather conditions. Yet, there is a trade-off:
A helmet decreases hearing sensitivity, peripheral vision and
physical movement to a certain extent while providing
protection and comfort.
It is important for maximum safety that your ScorpionExo®
helmet fit snugly and comfortably on your head with the
retention strap (chinstrap) properly and snugly fastened. With
the chinstrap firmly fastened, grab the back of the helmet with
both hands and try to roll the helmet forward. If you can roll the
helmet over the eyes, it is too loose and you should try another
size of helmet.
The retractable sunvisor on your ScorpionExo® helmet is designed
to help protect your eyes from excessive sunlight, but may hinder
visibility in dark conditions. Some ScorpionExo® models come
equipped with a faceshield as standard. The internal sunvisor may
not provide the same protection against weather conditions,
flying objects, and wind as a faceshield. It is the rider’s responsibility
to obtain proper eye protection. Please review the instructions
within this manual for proper use.

NEVER USE A DARK OR TINTED VISOR IN DARK OR POOR VISIBILITY
RIDING CONDITIONS. This is not only unsafe, but also illegal in
most countries.
NEVER WEAR A VISOR THAT HAS BECOME SCRATCHED OR
WORN OUT, OR RIDE WITH A VISOR THAT IS FOGGED BY
CONDENSATION. We recommend that you change your visor at least
every two years with a new one.
Ventilation systems are designed and engineered to maximize
your comfort in a wide range of temperatures. Familiarize
yourself with the vents on your street helmet. Some vents
have detents allowing partial opening and closing, thereby
controlling intake and exhaust airflow. Your helmet ventilation
systems should be kept clear of any obstructions including
dirt, insects or other items which could interfere with proper
flow of air. The ventilation systems play an important role,
especially during physical exertion or hot-weather riding.
Ventilation helps decrease the possibility of fogging
on the faceshield.

Liner Removal And Installment
SpeedView® Internal Sunvisor
Peak Visor Removal And Installment
Gently press up the internal sunvisor on the tab
(located on the left-hand side of the helmet) to
retract in and lock sunvisor in place.
Gently pull down the internal sunvisor on the
tab (located on the left-hand side of the
helmet) to lower the sunvisor.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE WHILE RIDING
Find the notched button on the side bracket, which holds the outer visor in place.
Slide the button with one hand, and with the opposite hand, pull the outer visor forward.
DO THIS FOR BOTH THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDES.
To put the outer visor back on, slide the button back again, and fit the connecting parts of the
outer visor back into the slots. The button will slide forward, locking it into place.
TEST TO MAKE SURE THAT IT IS SECURE BEFORE RIDING.
First, your helmet should be positioned upside-down with the front
facing away from you, and on a soft, supportive surface that will not
damage your helmet’s finish or structural integrity.
The arms of the chinstrap should be also be out of the neck-liner
harness.
At the back of the helmet pull the crown liner away from the shell by
unsnapping two snaps. Now the crown liner can be lifted out of the
center of the helmet.
Pull out the plastic arch from the bracket embedded in the front of the
EPS foam liner of the helmet interior.

Locate the zipperhead inside the left-hand side of the helmet (on the
same side as the red chinstrap locking mechanism), and unzip it
throughout the back of the helmet. Unfasten velcro tabs in temple-area
of neck liner.
Detach the neck liner completely from the zipper, and set it aside.

Cleaning Your Helmet System
FIRMLY AND SECURELY FASTEN YOUR CHINSTRAP.
Check your chinstrap for tightness occasionally as vibration or wind may
loosen it.
Do not simply pull your helmet down onto your head like a hat. Your
ScorpionExo®helmet should be worn as follows: Using both hands grab
the helmet’s bottom rim while holding the chin straps with your thumbs.
Then “roll” the helmet onto your head starting at the forehead. Continue
rolling the helmet on towards the back of the head until it comes to rest
with your head fully in contact with the inner lining and cheek pads.

Removal Securing and wearing your helmet

None of the components of your ScorpionExo™ helmet can be damaged
by water. Detachable liners are machine washable. Wash them with a mild
detergent in warm water and allow to air dry. Hand washing is recommended,
but machine washing is also permitted. Use the “delicate” cycle to prevent
the agitator from damaging the sweat-wicking material covering the liner parts,
we recommend to replace the parts in a washing bag.
Do not place lining parts in the dryer: Excessive heat may damage
the foam and coverings. The faceshield may be cleaned with
plastic polish or mild soap and water. The shell of your helmet
should be cleaned using only a mild detergent and water.

For your safety, it is important that you completely read the
owner’s manual and all warning labels.
DO NOT ride without snugly fastening your chinstrap.
DO NOT clean your helmet with petroleum products, solvents,
benzene, thinner or cleaning agents.
DO NOT paint over your helmet’s finish without totally protecting
and isolating the shock-absorbing liner and plastic parts.
Your warranty will otherwise be invalidated.
DO NOT drop your helmet from any height onto a hard surface.
This could cause damage to your helmet’s finished and/or
decrease its ability to protect you.
DO NOT place your helmet on your motorcycle’s rearview mirror:
The sharp pressure from the mirror’s edge will compress and
damage the helmet’s shock-absorbing liner.
DO NOT place your helmet on the motorcycle’s seat or fuel tank.
It can easily roll off and hit the ground causing damage to
the helmet. It is best to place your helmet on the ground so it
cannot fall in any direction.
DO NOT ride with a scratched faceshield. This can impair your
vision, especially at night.
DO NOT modify any part of your helmet, e.g., drilling the shell or
cutting and pressing the shock absorbing liner. Installation of
sound systems, speakers and microphones reduces your helmet’s
ability to protect you and is not recommended.
DO NOT use the helmet again if it has either been dropped or
involved in an accident. Replace it even if the damage is not
visible to the naked eye.
DO NOT wear a dark or tinted faceshield (including the
retractable SpeedViewTM Sunvisor) in dark or poor visibility
riding conditions.
DO NOT place your headliners and cheek pads in the dryer after
washing. Allow them to air dry.
DO NOT attempt to remove, change or replace your faceshield
while riding your motorcycle or ATV.
DO NOT use paint which requires heat curing.
All ScorpionExo™ helmets have a warranty of 5 years.
Although there is no visible damage on your helmet, general wear
and tear over time may affect overall function of protective helmet
and increase the risk of injury in accident. It is advisable to replace
your helmet no later than every 5 years from purchase.
Should you have a warranty claim, go to your Scorpion dealer with
your invoice (this is you purchase proof, it's necessary in order to
start the warranty process). You can find our dealers' list on your

The dealer will contact our after sales service and start the warranty
process in order to check and/or repair your helmet.
While holding the sunvisor
with your other hand, depress
the button on the side bracket,
releasing the shield from the clasp.
Unhook the sunvisor from
the clasp, and remove it from
the side bracket.
Do the same to the opposite side
of the sunvisor, thereby detaching it.
You may now clean the sunvisor,
or replace it completely.
HOW TO USE CHINSTRAP
While you are wearing your helmet,
grasp the notched arm of the
chinstrap with your right hand, and
the locking mechanism with your left
hand. Pull the nylon tab with your
thumb and forefinger to open the
locking brace. Insert the notched arm
into the slot. Release the nylon tab to
lock the arm in place. Adjust as
needed.

technologies en matière de conception et de style disponible
aujourd’hui sur le marché, et représente un excellent
investissement pour votre confort et votre protection.
N’oubliez jamais qu’aucun casque ne peut vous protéger
contre tous les impacts possibles ou prévisibles, même s’il
est construit avec la meilleur technologie et les meilleurs
matériaux.
Les informations suivantes vous aiderons à profiter de votre
casque et à l’entretenir de manière optimale.
La fonction principale d’un casque est de protéger votre tête
en cas d’accident. Dans ce but, le casque que vous portez
se compose de matériaux prévue pour absorber et amortir
l’énergie d’un impact. Un casque est également prévu pour
assurer votre confort lorsque vous roulez et ce dans toutes
les situations de conduite et dans diverses conditions
climatiques. Mais il y a un compromis: Un casque gêne dans
une certaine mesure la sensibilité auditive, la vision
périphérique et le mouvement du corps tout en assurant
la protection et le confort.
Il est important, pour une sécurité maximale, que votre casque
ScorpionExo™ s’ajuste parfaitement et confortablement à
votre tête. La jugulaire doit être correctement attachée
(serrée et fermée). Si le casque pivote d'avant en arrière ou
de gauche à droite sans être plaqué à votre tête c'est qu'il est
trop grand. Si le casque est serrant ou douloureux, il est
trop petit.
L’écran rabattable de protection solaire de votre casque ScorpionExo™
aide à vous protéger des intempéries, de petits objets projetés et du vent.
Les écrans teintées sont conçues pour protéger vos yeux contre un
rayonnement solaire intense mais elle peuvent réduire la visibilité dans
l’obscurité. Le système de commande rapide de l’écran SpeedView™
permet d’abaisser ou de relever un écran teinté intégré. Veuillez lire
les instructions ad hoc dans ce manuel.
NE JAMAIS PORTER D’ECRAN SOMBRE OU TEINTÉE DANS L'OBSCURITÉ
OU DANS DES CONDITIONS DE ROULAGE A FAIBLE VISIBILITÉ. C'est non
seulement dangereux, mais également illégal dans la plupart des états.
NE PORTEZ JAMAIS UN ECRAN GRIFFÉ. NE ROULEZ JAMAIS AVEC
UN ECRAN EMBUÉ PAR LA CONDENSATION.
Les écrans et écrans solaires internes ScorpionExo™ sont traités
avec un revêtement spécial externe anti-rayures. Ce traitement peut
perdre de son efficacité après environ deux années d’utilisation.
Par conséquent, pour une sécurité et une visibilité maximales, nous
vous recommandons de remplacer votre écran au moins tous
les deux ans par un nouvel écran d’origine ScorpionExo™.
Des systèmes de ventilation sont conçus et fabriqués pour
maximiser votre confort et vous assurer une parfaite maïtrise de
l'aération du casque (même dans les conditions les plus extrêmes).
Familiarisez-vous avec les différentes ventilations de votre casque.
Certaines de ces ventilations possèdent des fermoirs permettant
une ouverture et une fermeture partielle et permettant ainsi de
contrôler les flux d’air entrants et sortants. Les systèmes de
ventilation de votre casque doivent être gardés libres de toutes
obstructions (la saleté, les insectes ou d’autres éléments qui
pourraient gêner les canaux de ventilation). Les systèmes de
ventilation jouent un rôle important, lors de courses sur circuit,
en circulation quotidienne, sous un climat chaud mais aussi par
temps froid. Ils permettent d'éviter la formation de buée.

Ecran solaire interne SpeedView®
Dépose de la visière
Appuyez doucement sur l'ecran solaire interne sur
l'onglet (situé sur le côté gauche du casque) de se
rétracter et verrouiller ecran solaire en place.
Tirez doucement l'ecran solaire interne sur
l'onglet (situé sur le côté gauche du casque)
pour abaisser l'ecran solaire.
NE PROCÉDEZ PAS À CE RÉGLAGE LORSQUE VOUS ROULEZ.
Dégagez le bouton cranté du support latéral retenant la visière. Faites glisser le bouton d’une
main et tirez la visière vers l’extérieur avec l’autre main. PROCÉDEZ DE MÊME POUR L’AUTRE
CÔTÉ.
Pour remettre la visière en place, faites glisser le bouton vers l’arrière et introduisez les pattes
de fixation de la visière dans les encoches. Le bouton glisse alors vers l’avant, fixant la visière.
AVANT DE ROULER, VÉRIFIEZ L’ASSISE SOLIDE DE LA VISIERE.
Enlever la doublure de protection KwikWick®
Renversez tout d’abord votre casque en dirigeant l’avant vers
l’extérieur, sur une surface douce et stable afin de ne pas endommag-
er la finition ni la structure du casque.
Les sangles de la mentonnière doivent également être dégagées du
revêtement de protection du cou.
Vous pouvez maintenant sortir la couronne de doublure hors du
revêtement en mousse EPS. Poussez l’étrier en plastique hors de son
support intégré à l’avant du revêtement en mousse EPS à l’intérieur du
casque.

Dégagez la navette de la fermeture éclair sur le côté gauche du casque
(du même côté que le mécanisme rouge de fermeture de la menton-
nière) et ouvrez cette dernière sur toute la partie arrière du casque.
Détachez les fermetures velcro de la doublure de protection du cou, à
hauteur des tempes.
Décrochez complètement la doublure de protection du cou de la
fermeture éclair et mettez la doublure de côté.

ATTACHEZ FERMEMENT ET CORRECTEMENT
VOTRE JUGULAIRE
Vérifiez de temps à autre le serrage de votre jugulaire, car les vibrations ou
le vent peuvent la desserrer.
N’enfilez pas simplement votre casque sur la tête comme un chapeau.
Votre casque ScorpionExo™ doit être passé de la façon suivante : A
l’aide des deux mains, saisissez le rebord inférieur du casque tout en
tenant les lanières de la jugulaire avec les pouces, "engagez" le casque
sur votre tête en commençant par le front. Continuez à faire rouler le
casque vers l’arrière jusqu’à ce qu’il recouvre l'ensemble votre tête.
Aucun des composants de votre casque ScorpionExo™ ne peut être
endommagé par l’eau. Les intérieurs détachable sont lavables en machine
(programme “Linge Délicat” et utilisez un pochon de lavage pour éviter toute
déterioration). Néanmoins un lavage à la main est recommandé.
Lavez-les avec une lessive ou un savon doux dans de l’eau chaude et laissez
sécher à l’air libre. Ne placez pas les parties de la doublure dans le séchoir:

Pendant que vous portez votre
casque, saisir le bras cranté de la
mentonnière avec votre main droite,
et le mécanisme de verrouillage de
la main gauche. Tirez la languette en
nylon avec votre pouce et l'index
pour ouvrir la bride de verrouillage.
Insérez le bras cranté dans le
mécanisme de la jugulaire
micrométrique. Relâchez le bouton
de nylon pour verrouiller le bras en
place. Ajustez au besoin.

Une chaleur excessive peut endommager la mousse et les
revêtement. L’écran peut être nettoyé avec une pâte à polir
pour plastique ou un savon doux et de l’eau.

Pour votre sécurité, il est important que vous lisiez complètement
le manuel d'utilisation et toutes les étiquettes d'avertissement.
Ne réutilisez pas le casque s’il est tombé ou s'il a été impliqué
dans un accident : Remplacez-le même si aucun dommage
n’est visible à l’oeil nu.
N’essayez pas de retirer, modifier ou remplacer votre visière
pendant que vous roulez sur votre moto ou véhicule tous-ter-
rains.
Les casques ScorpionExo™ sont garantis pour une durée 5 ans.
Même si il n'y a pas de dégâts visibles sur votre casque, l'usage
régulier et les effets du temps peuvent diminuer les capacités
protectrices du casque et accroître le risque de blessures lors
d'accidents, c'est pour cela qu'il est conseillé de remplacer votre
casque tous les 5 ans.
Si vous devez faire intervenir la garantie pour votre casque, merci de
vous rendre chez votre revendeur SCORPION le plus proche, muni de
votre facture (une preuve d'achat est nécessaire pour faire fonctionner
la garantie).

Le revendeur pourra alors lancer la procédure de SAV auprès du service
technique de chez SCORPION et faire
ainsi vérifier et/ou réparer votre casque.
N’UTILISEZ JAMAIS DE SUBSTANCES CHIMIQUES A BASE DE
PÉTROLE, DES SOLVANTS, DE L’ESSENCE, DES AGENTS DE
NETTOYAGE OU DES ADHÉSIFS pour nettoyer la coque, les intérieurs
et doublures oul’écran de votre casque. Une couche de cire
automobile sur la coque externe apportera un brillant
supplémentaire et une couche de protection à la finition.
Ne roulez pas sans attacher la jugulaire.
Ne peignez pas sur la couche de finition de votre casque.
Ne laissez pas tomber votre casque sur une surface dure, quelle
que soit la hauteur, cela peut endommager la couche de finition
et réduire sa capacité à vous protéger.
Ne placez pas votre casque sur le rétroviseur de votre moto :
La pression intense du bord du miroir comprimera et endommagera
le revètement d’absorption de choc du casque.
Ne placez pas votre casque sur le siège ou le réservoir à carburant
de votre moto : Il peut facilement basculer, heurter le sol et être
endommagé. Il vaut mieux placer votre casque sur le sol, sans qu’il
ne puisse tomber.
Ne roulez pas avec un écran rayé ; Cela peut altérer votre vision,
surtout par mauvais temps et/ou de nuit.
Ne modifiez aucune partie de votre casque, par exemple, un perçage,
une découpe de la coque ou une pression sur le revêtement
absorbeur de chocs. L’installation d’une sonorisation, haut-parleurs
et microphones réduit la capacité de votre casque à vous protéger
et n’est pas recommandée.

hypermodernes Design, wurde nach dem neuesten Stand
der Technik konstruiert und besitzt die modernste derzeitig
auf dem Markt erhältliche Ausstattung.
Er ist hinsichtlich Tragekomfort und Sicherheit eine
ausgezeichnete Investition. Achtung: ein Helm kann nicht
gegen jeden möglichen oder vorhersehbaren Aufprall schützen,
auch wenn er aus den neuesten Materialien und nach
modernsten Technologien konstruiert wurde.
Die folgenden Informationen sollen Ihnen helfen, den Helm
ordnungsgemäß zu pflegen, so dass Sie möglichst viel Freude
an ihm haben.
Hauptaufgabe eines Helms ist es, Ihren Kopf bei einem Unfall
vor Stößen zu schützen. Dazu umschließt ein Helm Ihren Kopf
mit einer Schale aus Materialien, die Aufprallenergie
aufnehmen und dämpfen können. Daneben soll ein Helm beim
Fahren mit hoher Geschwindigkeit und unter unter-
schiedlichsten Wetterbedingungen höchsten Tragekomfort
bieten. Das geht jedoch nicht ohne Kompromisse: Um
ausreichend Schutz und Tragekomfort bieten zu können,
schränkt ein Helm das Hörvermögen, das seitliche Gesichtsfeld
und die Bewegungsfreiheit in bestimmtem Maße ein.
Für maximalen Schutz muss Ihr Motorradhelm ScorpionExo™
gut und bequem auf dem Kopf sitzen und der Kinnriemen muss
festgezogen sein. Wenn sich der Helm zur Seite oder nach vorn
und hinten bewegen lässt, ohne an Gesichtshaut und Haar zu
ziehen, ist er zu groß. Wenn der Helm auf den Kopf drückt oder
Schmerzen verursacht, ist er zu klein.
Die klappbare Sonnenblende Ihres ScorpionExo™-Motorradhelms
schützt Sie vor schlechtem Wetter, kleinen fliegenden Objekten und Wind.
Getönte Visiere schützen die Augen vor übermäßiger Sonneneinstrahlung,
behindern aber die Sicht bei Dunkelheit. Mit dem "SpeedView™"

TRAGEN SIE BEI DUNKELHEIT ODER SCHLECHTEN SICHTVERHÄLTNISSEN
KEIN DUNKLES ODER GETÖNTES VISIER. Das ist nicht nur unsicher,
sondern in den meisten Staaten auch verboten.
FAHREN SIE NIE MIT ZERKRATZTER ODER BESCHLAGENER SONNENBLENDE.
Die Visiere und Sonnenblenden sind mit einer Anti-Beschlag Beschichtung
ausgestattet, das aber seine Kapazität nach ungefähr 2 Jahren verlieren
kann. Aus diesem Grund raten wir Ihnen, Ihr Visier mindestens aller
2 Jahre gegen ein neues Visier ScorpionExo auszutauschen.
Die Belüftung wurde so ausgelegt, dass über einen großen
Temperaturbereich maximaler Tragekomfort gewährleistet werden
kann. Machen Sie sich mit den Lüftungen Ihres Helms vertraut.
Einige Lüftungen sind verstellbar und können zur Steuerung des
Zu- und Abluftstroms teilweise geöffnet und geschlossen werden.
Die Belüftung Ihres Helms darf nicht durch Schmutz, Insekten oder
andere Gegenständen verstopft sein, was den normalen Luftstrom
beeinträchtigen könnte. Die Belüftung ist insbesondere von grosser
Bedeutung bei physischer Anstrengung oder Fahrten bei warmem
Wetter, aber auch bei Kälte, um zu vermeiden, dass das Visier
beschlägt.

Abnehmen des Futters
Legen Sie Ihren Helm umgekehrt mit von Ihnen abgewandter
Vorderseite auf eine weiche Ablage, sodass die Oberfläche und der
Helm selbst nicht beschädigt werden.
Die Enden des Kinnriemens müssen außerhalb des Nackenfuttergurts
liegen.
Das Helmfutter kann aus der Mitte herausgenommen werden.
Ziehen Sie den Plastikbogen aus dem Bügel in der Vorderseite des
EPS-Schaumfutters im Helm.

Benutzung der SpeedView® Sonnenblende
Abnehmen des externen Visiers
Drücken Sie vorsichtig die interne Sonnenblende
auf der Registerkarte (auf der linken Seite des
Helms befindet), um in zurückziehen und
verriegeln Sonnenblende an Ort und Stelle.
Ziehen Sie vorsichtig nach unten die interne
Sonnenblende auf der Registerkarte (auf der
linken Seite des Helms befindet), um die
Sonnenblende zu senken.
Gekerbten Knopf an der Seitenhalterung, die das Außenvisier hält, suchen. Den Knopf mit einer
Hand verschieben und mit der anderen Hand das externe Visier nach vorn ziehen. DAS AUF DER
LINKEN UND RECHTEN SEITE TUN.
Zum Anlegen des externen Visiers Knopf erneut nach hinten schieben und Verbindungsteile des
Außenvisiers wieder in den Schlitzen anbringen. Der Knopf verschiebt sich nach vorn und rastet
dort ein. TESTEN, OB DAS VISIER FEST SITZT.

der Sonnenblende
Reinigen ihres Helmsystems
LEGEN SIE SCHLIESSLICH IHREN KINNRIEMEN FEST UND
SICHER AN.
Prüfen Sie den Kinnriemen regelmäßig auf festen Sitz, da er durch
Vibrationen oder Wind gelockert werden kann.
Setzen Sie den Helm nicht einfach wie einen Hut auf den Kopf. Sie
sollten Ihren ScorpionExo™-Motorradhelm wie folgt tragen : Fassen
Sie mit beiden Händen an den unteren Helmrand und halten die
Kinnriemen mit den Daumen fest. Dann “rollen” Sie den Helm über den
Kopf, beginnend an der Stirn.
Sichern und
Tragen des Helms
Die Komponenten Ihres Motorradhelms ScorpionExo können durch Wasser
nicht beschädigt werden. Abnehmbaren futter ist maschinenwaschbar.
Waschen Sie sie mit einem milden Reinigungsmittel und warmem Wasser
und lassen sie an der Luft trocknen. Wir empfehlen eine Reinigung per Hand,
eine Reinigung mit der Maschine ist jedoch möglich (Alle Teile in Waschbeutel
legen um Beschädigungen zu vermeiden).
Benutzung des Kinnriemens
Während Sie Ihren Helm tragen ,
greifen Sie zum Kinnriemen mit der
rechten Hand, und der Verriegelung-
smechanismus mit der linken Hand.
Ziehen Sie die Nylon Lasche mit
Daumen und Zeigefinger, um den
Verriegelungs Klammer zu öffnen.
Legen Sie die Kerb Arm in den
Steckplatz. Lassen Sie den
Nylonknopf los, um den Verschluss
zu fixieren. Nach Bedarf anpassen.

Wählen Sie einen “sanften” Waschgang, damit das schweiß-
absorbierende Material des Futters nicht beschädigt wird.
Legen Sie Teile des Futters nicht in den in den Trockner :
Übermäßige Hitzeeinwirkung kann Schaum und Bezüge
beschädigen. Das Visier und die Sonnenblende kann mit
Kunstpolitur oder milder Seife und Wasser gereinigt werden.
Die Helmschale sollte ausschließlich mit einem milden
Reinigungsmittel und Wasser gereinigt werden.

Was Sie nicht tun sollten
Garantie
Für Ihre Sicherheit ist es wichtig, dass Sie Bedienungsanleitung
und alle Warnhinweise des Besitzers vollständig lesen.
Verändern Sie KEINE Bestandteilen Ihres Helmes (z.B.
Durchbohren der Schale, Zerschneiden und Quetschen des
stoßdämpfenden Futters).
Die Installation von Soundsystemen, Lautsprechern und
Mikrofonen vermindert die Schutzfähigkeit Ihres Helms und
wird nicht empfohlen.
Alle ScorpionExo™-Helme haben eine Garantie von 5 Jahren.
Auch wenn kein erkennbarer Schaden an Ihrem Helm zu sehen ist,
kann das regelmässige Tragen über einen längeren Zeitraum die
Sicherheitsfunktion Ihres Helmes beeinträchtigen und erhöht das
Risiko von Beschädigungen bei einem Unfall. Deshalb ist es ratsam,
Ihren Helm nicht später als alle 5 Jahre nach Ihrem Kauf zu ersetzen.

VERWENDEN SIE zur Reinigung des Futters oder des Visiers Ihres
Helms KEINE LÖSUNGSMITTEL, REINIGUNGSMITTEL, KLEBSTOFFE
ODER CHEMIKALIEN AUF PETROLEUMBASIS.
Schale, Futter und Visier Ihres Helms können durch diese
Produkte ernsthaft beschädigt werden. Eine Schicht Autopolitur
auf der Außenseite der Schale sorgt für zusätzlichen Glanz und
schützt den Lack.
Fahren Sie NICHT mit losem Kinnriemen oder offener Schnalle.
Reinigen Sie Ihren Helm NICHT mit Lösungsmitteln, Benzol,
Verdünner, Reinigungsmitteln oder Produkten auf Petroleumbasis.
Überstreichen Sie die Lackschicht ihres Helms NICHT.
Lassen Sie Ihren Helm NICHT auf eine harte Oberfläche fallen.
Dadurch kann der Lack Ihres Helms beschädigt und/oder seine
Schutzfähigkeit beeinträchtigt werden.
Hängen Sie Ihren Helm NICHT an den Rückspiegel Ihres Motorrads:
Die scharfe Spiegelkante kann das stoßdämpfende Futter
des Helms zusammendrücken und beschädigen.
Legen Sie Ihren Helm NICHT auf den Sitz oder den Tank des
Motorrads. Er könnte auf den Boden fallen und beschädigt werden.
Am besten legen Sie den Helm auf den Boden, damit er nicht
fallen kann.
Fahren Sie NICHT mit zerkratztem Visier. Das kann Ihre Sicht
beeinträchtigen, insbesondere bei Nacht.
Setzen Sie den Helm NICHT mehr auf, wenn er gefallen ist oder in
einen Unfall verwickelt war. Ersetzen Sie ihn auch dann, wenn mit
bloßem Auge keine Beschädigung erkennbar ist.
Tragen Sie dunkle oder getönte Visiere NICHT bei Dunkelheit oder
schlechten Sichtverhältnissen.
Legen Sie Innenfutter und Wangenpolster nach dem Waschen NICHT
in den Trockner. Lassen Sie sie an der Luft trocknen.
Sie dürfen das Visier NICHT abnehmen, wechseln oder ersetzen
während Sie mit Ihrem Motorrad oder ATV fahren.
Während Sie die Sonnenblende mit
der anderen Hand halten, den Knopf
an der Seitenhalterung nach unten
drücken und Blende vom Haken lösen.
Sie können die Sonnenblende jetzt

Felicidades por su adquisición de un casco ScorpionExo™
de primera calidad. Este casco incorpora el diseño más
nuevo y la construcción y la tecnología más avanzadas
disponibles actualmente en el mercado, y es una inversión
excelente para su comodidad y su seguridad.
Recuerde que no hay casco que pueda protegerle de todos
los impactos posibles o previsibles, aún cuando esté
construido con los materiales y la tecnología más modernos
y de mejor calidad.
La siguiente información le ayudará a utilizar y mantener
adecuadamente su casco.
La principal función de un casco, es proteger la cabeza
de un golpe en caso de accidente. Para ello, el casco le rodea
la cabeza con una matriz de materiales diseñados para que
absorban y amortigüen la energía del impacto. El casco
también se diseña de manera que sea cómodo para usted
al conducir a bastante velocidad y en diferentes condiciones
meteorológicas.
Sin embargo, presenta una dificultad: Al proporcionarle
protección y comodidad, el casco también reduce hasta
cierto punto su percepción auditiva, visión periférica y
movimiento físico.
Para la máxima seguridad, es importante que al casco
ScorpionExo ™ se asiente en la cabeza ajustada y
cómodamente, con la correa de sujeción debidamente
abrochada. Si el casco oscila de una lado para otro o hacia
delante y hacia atrás sin tirar de la piel de la cara ni del cuero
cabelludo, entonces es demasiado grande. Si el casco le
aprieta o le causa dolor, entonces es demasiado pequeño.
La visera de sol replegable del casco ScorpionExo™ puede protegerle
contra las condiciones climáticas, el viento y los pequeños objetos
volantes. Las pantallas coloreadas están diseñadas para protegerle los
ojos de la luz excesiva del sol, pero pueden dificultar la visibilidad en
condiciones de oscuridad. El sistema de visera de sol de liberación rápida
"SpeedView™" permite bajar y levantar una visera de sol coloreada
incorporada. Por favor, lea las instrucciones de este manual.

Las pantallas e la visera de sol interna ScorpionExo™ son tratados
con un revestimiento especial anti-arañazos exterior. Este tratamiento
puede perder su eficacia después de dos años de uso. Por lo tanto,
para su seguridad y la visibilidad, se recomienda la sustitución de su
máximo cada dos años.
Los sistemas de ventilación han sido diseñados y fabricados para
proporcionarle la máxima comodidad en todo un amplio abanico
de temperaturas. Familiarícese con los orificios de ventilación de
su casco.
Algunos orificios tienen palancas que permiten abrirlos y cerrarlos
parcialmente, lo que le permite controlar el flujo de aire de entrada

dañe el acabado del casco ni su integridad estructural.
Las patillas de la correa de sujeción deberían estar también fuera de
los arneses del acolchado para el cuello.
El acolchado de corona puede ser retirado del centro del casco.

Localice el pasador de la cremallera dentro del lado izquierdo del
casco (en el mismo lado que el mecanismo de bloqueo rojo de la
correa de sujeción) y desabróchelo completamente en la parte
posterior del casco.
Desabroche las tiras de velcro en el área de la sien del acolchado para
el cuello. Separe completamente de la cremallera el acolchado para el
cuello y póngalo aparte.
UTILIZACIÓN DE LA VISERA DE SOL SpeedView®
Para quitar la visera externa
Presione suavemente la visera de sol interna en la ficha
(que se encuentra en el lado izquierdo del casco) para
retraer y bloquear visera en su lugar.
Tire suavemente hacia abajo la visera de sol
interna en la ficha (que se encuentra en el
lado izquierdo del casco) para bajar la visera.
Encuentre el botón muescado en el soporte lateral que sostiene la visera externa en su lugar.
Deslice el botón con una mano y, con la otra, tire hacia delante la visera externa. HAGA ESTO
TANTO PARA EL LADO IZQUIERDO COMO DERECHO.
Para volver a poner la visera externa, vuelva a deslizar el botón y encaje
las partes de unión de la visera externa en las ranuras. El botón se deslizará hacia delante,
bloqueándolo en su lugar. COMPRUEBE SU SEGURIDAD ANTES DE CONDUCIR.

Compruebe de vez en cuando el ajuste de la correa de sujeción, las
vibraciones podrían aflojarla.
No se ponga simplemente el casco apretándolo en la cabeza como si
fuera un sombrero. El casco ScorpionExo™ debe colocarse en la
cabeza de la siguiente manera: con ambas manos, agarre el casco por
su borde inferior sujetando al mismo tiempo con los pulgares las
correas de sujeción, y luego "envuélvase" la cabeza con el casco
empezando por la frente. Siga deslizando el casco hacia la nuca hasta
que descanse plenamente en ella, de manera que el cráneo y los
pómulos estén totalmente en contacto con los acolchados interiores y
las almohadillas.

El agua no puede dañar ninguno de los componentes de su casco
ScorpionExo™. Los acolchados desmontable se pueden lavar en la lavadora.
Lávelos en agua caliente, con un detergente suave, y séquelos al aire.
Se recomienda lavarlos a mano, pero también se los puede lavar a máquina.
Utilice el ciclo "delicado" para evitar que el agitador dañe el material

casco, sujete la correa de sujeción
con la mano derecha, y el mecanismo
de bloqueo con la mano izquierda. Tire
de la lengüeta de nylon con el dedo
pulgar y el dedo índice para abrir la
llave de bloqueo. Inserte la correa en
la ranura. Liberar la pestaña nylon
para bloquear el brazo en su lugar.

acolchado en una secadora: el exceso de calor podría dañar la
espuma y los forros. La pantalla se puede limpiar con producto
de limpieza para plástico, o con agua y un jabón suave. La carcasa

y el paso del tiempo pueden afectar en su funcionamiento general
y en su protección y aumentar el riesgo de daños en caso de accidente.
Es recomendable reemplazar el casco cada 5 años desde la fecha
de compra.

NO UTILICE NUNCA PRODUCTOS QUÍMICOS, DISOLVENTES,
GASOLINA, PRODUCTOS DE LIMPIEZA NI ADHESIVOS A BASE DE
PETRÓLEO para limpiar la carcasa, los acolchados ni la pantalla
de su casco. El uso de dichos productos podría dañarlos
seriamente. Una capa de cera para automóvil sobre la carcasa
exterior (excepto en los acabados mate) proporcionará un brillo
añadido y una capa de protección para el acabado.
NO conduzca sin abrocharse la correa de sujeción.
NO limpie el casco con productos a base de petróleo, disolventes,
gasolina, diluyentes ni productos de limpieza.
NO pinte sobre el acabado del casco sin proteger y aislar totalmente
el acolchado amortiguador de impactos y las piezas de plástico.
En caso contrario, la garantía quedará invalidada.
NO deje caer el casco sobre superficies duras.
Podría ocasionar daños en el acabado del casco y/o reducir su
capacidad protectora.
NO ponga el casco en el espejo retrovisor de su motocicleta:
La presión cortante del borde del espejo comprimiría y dañaría
el acolchado amortiguador del casco.
NO ponga el casco en el asiento ni sobre el depósito de gasolina
de su motocicleta. El casco puede caerse fácilmente y chocar
contra el suelo, lo que podría dañarlo. Lo mejor es dejar el casco
en el suelo, para que pueda caerse.
NO conduzca con una pantalla rayada. Podría impedirle ver bien,
especialmente de noche.
NO modifique ningún componente del casco, por ejemplo perforando
NO vuelva a usar el casco si se ha caído o si ha sufrido un accidente.
Sustitúyalo aunque el daño no sea visible a simple vista.
NO lleve una pantalla oscura ni coloreada en la oscuridad o en
condiciones de mala visibilidad.
NO ponga los acolchados para la cabeza ni las almohadillas para los
pómulos en la secadora después de lavarlas. Deje que se sequen al aire.
NO intente quitarse la pantalla, moverla, ni cambiarla mientras esté
conduciendo su motocicleta o su ATV.
NO use pintura que requiera curado al calor.
Mientras sostiene la visera de sol con
una mano, apriete con la otra el botón
en el soporte lateral, liberando
la pantalla del broche.
Desenganche la visera de sol del broche
y sáquela del soporte lateral.
Haga lo mismo al lado opuesto de
la visera de sol y sepárela.
Ahora puede limpiar la visera
o cambiarla completamente.

La funzione principale di un casco è quella di proteggere la
testa dagli urti in caso di incidente. A questo scopo, il casco
protegge la testa con una combinazione di materiali progettati

studiato per fornirvi comfort durante la guida ad alta velocità
e in condizioni meteorologiche varie. Tuttavia, vi è un
compromesso. Il casco riduce in una certa misura la
sensibilità acustica, la visione periferica e il movimento
fisico, pur fornendo protezione e comfort.
Per assicurare la massima sicurezza e protezione, è importante
che il casco ScorpionExo™ possa essere calzato sulla testa
in modo perfetto e confortevole, stringendo adeguatamente
il cinturino di ritenzione (sottogola). Se il casco si muove di lato,
in avanti o all'indietro senza tirare la pelle del viso e il cuoio
capelluto, allora è troppo largo. Se il casco comprime troppo o
provoca dolore, è troppo stretto.
La visiera parasole retrattile sul vostro casco ScorpionExo™ può
contribuire a proteggervi dalle intemperie, da piccoli oggetti volanti e
dal vento. Le protezioni facciali colorate sono progettate per proteggere
i vostri occhi dalla luce solare in eccesso, ma potrebbero ostacolare
la visibilità in condizioni di guida notturna. Il sistema di visiere parasole
"SpeedView™" a sgancio rapido vi consente di abbassare e sollevare
una visiera parasole colorata incorporata. Rileggetevi le istruzioni
contenute nel presente manuale.
NON INDOSSARE MAI UNA PROTEZIONE FACCIALE SCURA O COLORATA
IN CONDIZIONI DI GUIDA NOTTURNA O DI SCARSA VISIBILITÀ. Tale
comportamento è non solo insicuro, ma illegale in molti paesi.
NON INDOSSARE MAI UNA VISIERA PARASOLE CHE SI È GRAFFIATA,
NÉ GUIDARE CON UNA PROTEZIONE FACCIALE APPANNATA DALLA
CONDENSA. Le visiere ed i visierini parasole interni ScorpionExo™sono
trattati con uno speciale rivestimento esterno anti-graffio. Questo
trattamento potrebbe perdere la sua efficacia dopo circa 2 anni di utilizzo.
Pertanto, per la vostra sicurezza e massima visibilità, vi consigliamo di
sostituire la vostra visiera ogni 2 anni.
I sistemi di ventilazione sono progettati e studiati per massimizzare
il vostro comfort con il variare delle temperature esterne.
Familiarizzate con le varie aperture per la ventilazione presenti
sul vostro casco.
Alcune aperture per la ventilazione consentono una apertura e
una chiusura parziale, permettendo così di regolare l’entrata e
l’uscita del flusso d’aria. I sistemi di ventilazione del vostro casco
devono sempre essere liberi da ostruzioni di qualsiasi tipo come
sporcizia, insetti o altri elementi che potrebbero ostacolare il corretto
flusso dell’aria. I sistemi di ventilazione rivestono un ruolo
importante, specialmente quando lo sforzo fisico si fa più intenso o
durante la guida in condizioni climatiche torride.

Rimozione dell'imbottitura
Per primo, il vostro casco dovrebbe essere in posizione capovolta con
la parte frontale rivolta nella direzione opposta alla vostra e collocato
su una superficie di supporto morbida che non danneggia la rifinitura o
l’integrità strutturale del vostro casco.
Gli attacchi del sottogola devono essere tolti dalla bardatura
dell'imbottitura del collo.
Allora l'imbottitura interna può essere estratta dal centro del casco.
Estrarre l’archetto di plastica dalla staffa integrata nella parte frontale
dell'imbottitura in polistirene espanso dell’interno del casco.

APRIRE LA CERNIERA LAMPO DELL'IMBOTTITURA DEL COLLO RIMOVIBILE

Trovare il tiretto all’interno della parte sinistra del casco (sulla stessa
parte del meccanismo di bloccaggio del sottogola rosso) e aprire la
cerniera lampo sull'intera parte posteriore del casco. Slacciare le
strisce velcro nella zona della tempia dell'imbottitura del collo.
Staccare completamente l'imbottitura del collo dalla cerniera e posarla
a lato.
Utilizzo della visiera parasole SpeedView®
Rimozione della visiera esterna
Spingere in su la visiera parasole interna sulla linguetta
(si trova sul lato sinistro del casco) per sollevare la
visiera parasole e bloccare in posizione.
Tirare la visiera parasole sulla linguetta (che
si trova sul lato sinistro del casco) per
abbassare la visiera.
Trovare il bottone dentellato sulla staffa laterale che tiene ferma la visiera esterna. Far scivolare
il bottone con una mano e, con l’altra, spingere in avanti la visiera esterna. EFFETTUARE
QUESTA OPERAZIONE SIA PER IL LATO SINISTRO CHE PER IL LATO DESTRO.
Per riapplicare la visiera esterna, spingere nuovamente indietro il bottone e rimontare le parti di
collegamento della visiera esterna nelle fessure. Il bottone scivola in avanti e scatta in
posizione. TESTARE PER ASSICURARE CHE SIA BEN FISSO PRIMA DI GUIDARE.

Rimozione della

Fissare ed indossare
il casco
Tenendo la visiera parasole con
una mano, premere il bottone sulla
staffa laterale e sfilare la protezione
facciale dal fermaglio.
Sganciare la visiera parasole
dal fermaglio e rimuoverla
dalla staffa laterale.
Staccare allo stesso modo
la parte opposta della visiera
parasole.
Ora la visiera parasole
può essere pulita o sostituita
completamente. Pulire il casco
STRINGERE CON SICUREZZA IL CINTURINO SOTTOGOLA
Controllare con sufficiente regolarità che il cinturino sia ben stretto
poiché le vibrazioni o il vento potrebbero allentarlo.
Il casco non deve essere semplicemente indossato come se fosse un
cappello. Il vostro casco ScorpionExo™ deve essere indossato come
segue: utilizzando entrambe le mani, afferrare il bordo inferiore del
casco tenendo i cinturini con i pollici, quindi ruotare il casco sulla testa
partendo dalla fronte. Continuare a ruotare il casco verso la parte
posteriore della testa finché non si fermerà e la vostra testa non sia
completamente in contatto con le imbottiture interne e i guanciali.
Nessun componente del casco Scorpion Exo può essere danneggiato con
l'acqua. Le imbottiture staccabili sono lavabili in lavatrice. Lavare con un
detergente delicato in acqua tiepida e fare asciugare all'aria aperta.
Si consiglia di lavare a mano, ma è possibile anche il lavaggio in lavatrice.
Utilizzare il ciclo "delicato" per impedire che la centriguga danneggi
il materiale antisudore che copre le imbottiture interne.
Mentre si indossa il casco, afferrare
il parte dentata del cinturino del
sottogola con la mano destra, e il
meccanismo di bloccaggio con la
mano sinistra. Tirare la linguetta in
nylon con il pollice e l'indice per
aprire la fibbia. Inserire la parte
dentata nello slot. Rilasciare la
linguetta in nylon per bloccare la
parte dentata in posizione. Regolare
se necessario.

Utilizzo del cinturino

Non inserire le imbottiture interne nell'asciugatrice : il calore
eccessivo potrebbe danneggiare il materiale espanso e i
rivestimenti. La visiera può essere pulita con un lucidante per
plastica o sapone delicato e acqua. La calotta esterna del casco
deve essere pulita utilizzando solo un detergente delicato e acqua.

Per la vostra sicurezza, è importante leggere il manuale ed
tutte le etichette di avvertimento.
NON modificare nessuna parte del casco, ad esempio
trapanandone la calotta oppure tagliando e/o premendo
l’imbottitura antishock. L'installazione di sistemi audio,
altoparlanti e microfoni riduce la capacità del casco di
proteggervi e non è consigliata.
Tutti i caschi Scorpion sono garantiti 5 anni.
Anche se non sono presenti danni visibili sul casco, l¹usura generale
nel tempo può compromettere la sicurezza dello stesso, aumentando
il rischio di lesioni durante un incidente. Si consiglia, pertanto, di
sostituire il casco 5 anni dall¹acquisto.
In caso di reclamo in garanzia, recarsi cortesemente
dal riveditore autorizzato con copia fattura o scontrino fiscale che è
assolutamente necessario per procedere al riconoscimento
della garanzia.

NON UTILIZZARE MAI SOSTANZE CHIMICHE A BASE DI PETROLIO,
SOLVENTI, BENZINA,AGENTI PULENTI O ABRASIVI per pulire la
calotta esterna, le imbottiture interne o la visiera del casco.
La calotta del casco, le imbottiture e la visiera potrebbero rimanere
gravemente danneggiate dall'utilizzo di tali prodotti. Uno strato
di cera per automobili applicato sulla calotta esterna aggiungerà
lucentezza e protezione.
NON guidare senza aver prima fissato con sicurezza il cinturino

NON pulire il casco con prodotti a base di petrolio, solventi,
benzina, agenti diluenti o pulenti.
NON dipingere sulla finitura del casco.
NON gettare il casco da qualsiasi altezza su di una superficie dura.
La finitura del casco potrebbe rimanere danneggiata e/o ridursi
la capacità del casco stesso di proteggervi.
NON posizionare il casco sullo specchietto posteriore della moto:
la pressione esercitata dai bordi potenzialmente affilati dello
specchio potrebbero comprimere e danneggiare l’imbottitura
interna antishock del vostro casco.
NON posizionare il casco sul sedile o sul serbatoio della moto.
Potrebbe facilmente scivolare e cadere a terra, danneggiandosi.
E’ preferibile poggiare il casco direttamente a terra così che non
possa cadere o scivolare in nessuna direzione.
NON guidare con una visiera graffiata. Potrebbe ridurre la visibilità,
specialmente di notte.
NON riutilizzare il casco se è caduto o è rimasto coinvolto in un
incidente. Sostituirlo anche se il danno non è visibile a occhio nudo.
NON indossare mai una visiera scura o colorata in condizioni di scarsa
visibilità o durante la guida notturna.
NON mettere ad asciugare le imbottiture interne e i kit guanciali
nell'asciugatrice dopo il lavaggio. Lasciare asciugare all'aria aperta.
NON tentare di rimuovere, sostituire o cambiare la visiera
durante la guida.
