Scotle IR360 PRO V3 Brief Introduction
Scotle IR360 PRO V3 is a 3 in 1 multi-functional BGA Rework Station
with hot air head, infrared head and an 80w soldering iron .

Scotle IR360 Pro Main Features:
Scotle IR360 PRO V3 functions and outstanding features as below:
1.It is with three independent temperature zones, top temperature zone
can use dark infrared or hot air heater for your preference, the lower is
hot air heater and bottom is large infrared pre-heater. It can be easily used
in leaded and lead free rework.

2.It is with infrared ceramic preheating system which can bake damp
PCB board and chips independently and its preheating area can be
adjusted according to PCB.
3.High-power cross-flow cooling system to accelerate the preheating
zone cooling, to ensure the success rate of continuous de-soldering.
4.Bottom hot air nozzles follow the high-tech rework station’s mature
design.
5.Using high-tech temperature control program.
6. Preheating control is with optimized design to ensure the preheating
temperature won’t overheat.
7.Dual LED light design, more convenient to observe the reworking
process.
8. 80W soldering iron is added and can be used independently when
needed.

9. Scotle IR360 PRO is with two thermocouple outlet one for hot air and
one for infrared. With higher efficiency for both.
Installation of Scotle IR360 Pro V3
1.Installation
Place Scotle IR360 on a stable and smooth rework bench which can avoid
bottom deformation and large noise.
Place the rework station in a room which the breeze flow is <2 m/s. This
can lessen affect caused by breeze flow and improve reworking
efficiency.
2.Scotle IR-360 Maximum power consumption is 3450W ， average power
consumption is 2000W ， please check your power socket .
3.Scotle IR360’s Maximum heating temperature is 400 degrees, please
make sure no flammable materials around it when use it.
4. Don’t use the BGA rework station in a dusty room which can
accelerate the heating element aging.
5. Please keep the room air ventilation when use solder flux in reworking
because the heated solder flux will disseminate some harmful gases.

Warning: Do not touch the infrared independent preheating switch in
the normal reworking process
1. Hot air rework thermocouple outlet(When you use hot air head, you
need to use this outlet for thermocouple)
2. Infrared rework thermocouple outlet(When you use infrared head, use
this outlet for thermocouple)
3. Switch for cross cooling fan(after finish running the profile, start the
cooling fun by hand)
4. Vacuum button( control the vacuum suction pen to pick up chips)
5. IR cool (control the top fan for top infrared head, cannot be used when
use hot air head )

6. IR-Preheating button(UP Press: the machine enter into preheating
status, only 12 bottom IR controller work, and now the damp main
board can be baked. Down Press: the machine enter into normal
working status, all the 12 bottom IR heater, 13 lower hot air controller,
14 top heater controller work, now you can select temperature profile
to run.)

the machine will begin to run the profile )
10. Stop button.(When you want the running temperature profile to stop or
stop for the time being, press STOP button, if want to continue the
profile, press START )
11. Soldering iron control panel(LCD shows soldering iron tip
temperature, the soldering iron can be used independently)
12. Bottom infrared controller.(Work independently when baking boards.
Work with 12, 13, 14 when in BGA soldering and de-soldering, Japan
RKC series REX-C10.)
13. Lower hot air controller(set, select and display lower temperature
profile. PC900 series-PC410, store 10 groups including 8 heating

temperature profiles + 8 constant temperature profiles.)
14. Top heater controller(set, select and display top temperature profile for
both infrared and hot air heads. PC900 series-PC410 with built-in
R232 ， and can be connected with computer to display temperature
profile. And it can store 10 groups temperature profiles including 8
heating temperature profiles + 8 constant temperature profiles
15. Top air adjust(spin button to adjust the top hot air volume)
Start ： Press START button for 3 seconds. Top infrared and lower hot air
and bottom infrared controller PTN window display and start to heat
according to current temperature profile.
Stop ： After Press stop button for 2sec,the heating stopped
Scotle IR360 pro V3 ’s main power switch is on the right side, up
close to “ON”, the machine is turned on, and the temperature
controller will be start after 2s,then you can start your working.

The size of preheating area(the last left and right long ceramic plates) can
be controlled by the two buttons on the right side of the machine as

Temperature Controller Commonly Used Button:
PTN :Temperature profile selection, each Temperature Control instrument
can stored 0-9, total 10 group temperature curves. Press PTN, the PTN
LCD window show the number of the current temperature profile and the
station begin to run the selected profile.
