The Refrigerant System contains flammable gas; every work on the system must be done by
authorized and qualified personnel
Never use naked flames near a Flammable Refrigerant
n the presence of a gas leak from the circuit, ventilate the room and switch off or remove any source
of heat
The Refrigerant R290 (Propane) is heavier of the air; in case of refrigerant leak, it moves to the floor
The room, where installed the machine, MUST be strictly a NON–smoking area
ATTENTION – The Propane used in the refrigerant systems is odorless

equipmentisdesignedtobeusedfor
householdandsimilarapplications,
like:
‐personnelcookingareainshops,
officesandotherworkplaces;
‐farms;also,usebycustomersin
hotels,motelsandotherresidential
environments;
‐bedandbreakfast;
‐cateringservicesandsimilar
applicationsotherthanretail.


providedbytheofficialdistributorfor
yourarea;incaseofpiece
replacement,alwaysrequestGENUINE
spareparts.

DISPOSAL
Toprotecttheenvironmentobserveall
currentregulations,wherepossiblere
usepackingmaterial.Whenthe
machinehasreacheditsendoflifethe
followingproceduremustbefollowed.
1.Allrefrigerantandoilsfromthe
coolingcircuitmustberemovedbyan
authorisedrefrigerationcontractor.
2.Dismantlemachineanddisposeof
individualcomponentsinappropriate
recyclingbanks.Allplasticcomponents
aremarkedwithasymboltofacilitate
futurerecycling.

Installation
TheDXNseriesdispensershavebeen
designedtobeinstalledontopofthe
counter.Wheninstallingthe
equipmentyouneedtoassessits
permanentlocation,takinginto
accountthatforproperoperationit
needstosuckairfromtherightside
panelandblowouthotairfromthe
rearandleftsidepanel.Neverinstall
themachineinlocationswhereproper
ventilationisnotassured;the
equipmentisnotsuitableforoutdoor
use.
InstallationMUSTalwaysbe
performedbyanauthorisedScotsman
ServiceCentre.
Operatinglimits
Theelectricalsupplyavailable
correspondstovoltageandampacity
ofthemachinespecificationsas
indicatedontheunitnameplate.

allowaccessduringmaintenance
operationsandthatthereisafree
spaceofatleast15cmonallsidesfor
properventilation;wherepossible,
avoidhotanddustylocations.Make
surethattheequipmentisproperly
levelledwiththecounterontowhichit
rests.
ThismachineisNOTsuitablefor
outdooruseandNOTsuitablefor
installationinanareawhereawater
jetcouldbeusedforcleaning.

