1. DO NOT tuck in, pinch, flex or expose the wired heating area, fold or bunch this
bedding when in actual use; excessive heating may result.
2. DO NOT allow the cords to be pinched, trapped or crossed. It can cause damage
to the power cord.
3. DO NOT tuck the blanket or supply cord in a sofa or other furniture.
4. DO NOT use with damaged cords -They may result in an electrical short that
Ieads to a fire.
5. DO NOT cover the controller. Wrapping of cord around the controller may
damage the cord. All portions of this heated product should be visible at all times.
6. Never open up the controller case. Doing so could prove potentially hazardous
and will VOID YOUR WARRANTY!
7. Use this heated product ONLY with the provided controller.
8. Excessive heating may result from folding or bunching this heated product while
in use.

9. DO NOT use pins or other metallic means -They may damage the electric wiring.
10. DO NOT route electrical cords between the mattress and box spring.
11. DO NOT use if wet. If a spill occurs, turn heated product off, unplug, and dry
before re-using.
12. This heated product is for indoor use only.
13. DO NOT use with rocking chair, recliners, chairs with casters or wheels, or other
furniture subject to movement. This may cause the wire to be pinched and create
and electrical fault.
14. DO NOT use this heated product on a waterbed, bunk bed, pull-out or
fold-up bed, mechanically adjustable bed or a child's crib/bed.
15. DO NOT use this heated product with analgesic creams, liniments, salve or
ointment preparations. Skin burns could result.
16. BE SURE this bedding is ONLY used on an AC supply circuit of the proper voltage.
17. DO NOT use with generator power or inverter.
18. DO NOT turn on the product until it has been fully assembled.
19. DO NOT attempt to force the plug.
20. Keep the controller away from drafty areas that may become damp or wet such as
an open window.
21. DO NOT dry clean this heated product. Cleaning solvents may have
deteriorating effects on the insulation of the heating element. Improper laundry
may cause problems with the heating wire, which can lead to fire. Please consult
the Care and Cleaning Instructions section on how to clean this heated product.
22. Keep all animals away from this heated product. They could damage the wiring,
leading to a potentially harmful situation.
23. Loop loosely when storing and store in a cool, dark, dry place.
24. Turn off or unplug this heated product when not in use. Please turn off the controller
before unplugging it.
25. This appliance has a polarized plug. As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a
polarized outletonly one way. If the plug does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
DO NOT attempt to circumvent defeat this safety feature.
26. If improper operation of this bedding is observed, discontinue its use
immediately and consult the manufacturer or the dealer regarding its repair.

How to Use
USE ONLY WITH THE TYPE OF DETACHABLE CONTROLLER PROVIDED.

How to Use
Quick Set up Procedure
1. Place the blanket flat, connect the controller to the blanket first, and then connect
the plug properly (if the connection is not in a good condition, “P” is displayed);
Press the “ON/OFF” button. Before connecting or disconnecting the product to the
power supply, please shutoff electricity of power outlet first, unplug the product by
grabbing the plug to remove, never unplug by pulling the power cable.
2. Press the “Temp” button to set desired heating level. There are 10 heating levels
( L, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, H ). When the temperature is set at “ 5, 6, 7, 8, H” level, it will
automatically drop to level “4” after working for 1 hour.
3. Press the "Timer" button to set desired safety auto shutoff hours (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,
8, 9 - “1” for 1 hour, “2” for 2 hours..., and “9” for 9 hours ).
Intelligent Functions
Default mode
Press the “ON/OFF”button to turn on the product.
The blanket will work at "H" heating level for 3 hours, then drop to "4" heating level
for 2 hours and then switch off automatically. The total working time is 5 hours.
Normal mode
Press the “ON/OFF”button, then press the “Normal”button.
The blanket will work at "H" heating level for 1 hours, then drop to "4" heating level
for 7 hours and then switch off automatically. The total working time is 8 hours.
Comfort mode
Press the “ON/OFF”button, then press the “Comfort” button.
The blanket will work at "H" heating level for 1 hours, then drop to "4" heating level
for 2 hours and then switch off automatically. The total working time is 3 hours.

IMPORTANT:
UNPLUG THE CONTROLLER BEFORE WASHING.
NEVER PLUG IN YOUR HEATED PRODUCT WHILE DAMP.
DO NOT USE ON PULL-OUT BED OR FOLD-UP BED.
Care and Cleaning Instructions
Machine Wash
1. Unplug the controller first, put the product in the wash machine, fill with warm water
and add small amount of detergent, soak for 5 minutes.
2. Spin at normal speed for 2 minutes; After cleaning, rinse with clean water.
3. Stir for 1 minute and spin to dry; Clean and dry under gentle mode.
4. Remove damp product from the washer, spread to original size and line dry.
Hand Wash ( Recommended )
1. Unplug the controller first, and wash with small amount of mild laundry soap or
detergent.
2. Soak the product by hand in a tub filled with warm water for 5 minutes.
3. Gently rub the product up and down for 5 minutes. NEVER rub intensely to avoid
damaging heating elements; Rinse thoroughly in warm water till all traces of soap or
detergent are gone.
4. Squeeze out excessive water by hand. Line dry by simply draping the product over
two parallel clotheslines or a shower rod.
Warning
1. Do not iron.
2. Do not dry clean.
3. Do not bleach.
4. Do not wring.
Storage
1. If the product is not to be used for long, unplug it from the power supply and store
in a proper way.
2. Do not try to dry the product by connecting it to the power supply.This product and
its connection ports should be kept dry during use.
3. This product should be completely dry and be put in a cool and shady place for storing.
Do not put heavy objects on top of it.

Problem

Your Sealy heated products have a five year warranty from KATA USA INC. and will be
covered on defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser only, valid
from the initial date of retail purchase and not transferable.
At KATA’s discretion, they will either repair or replace this heated product or any
component of this product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement
will be made with either a new or remanufactured product or components. If the product
is no longer available, replacements may be made with a similar product of equal or greater
value. This is your exclusive warranty. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or
mechanical functions on this product. Doing so will void this warranty.
Keep the original sales receipt as proof of purchase shall be required to obtain warranty
support. KATA, or any retail stores selling this Sealy heated product, does not have the right
to alter, modify or any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any negligent
use or misuse of the product, use of improper voltage or current, use contrary to the
operating instructions, or the disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than KATA
or an authorized service center. Further, the warranty does not cover Acts of God, such as
fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes, or force majeure, such as damage from arson,
blackouts, riots or vandalism.
KATA should be reliable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the
breach of any express, implied or statutory warranty or condition. Except to the extent
prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty condition of merchantability or fitness
for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the above warranty.
Some provinces, states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of limitation of incidental
or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty last, so the
above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and
you may also have other rights that vary from province to province, state to state or
jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
