1. SAFETY
1.1. GENERAL SAFETY.
WARNING: Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations and specications provided with this power tool. Failure to follow all
instructions listed below may result in electric shock, re and/or serious injury.
9 Save all warning and instructions for future reference.
9Maintain the Impact Wrench and battery in good condition. Check moving parts alignment on a regular basis.
9Replace or repair damaged parts. Use an authorised service agent and recommended parts only. Unauthorised parts may be
dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
9Ensure the Impact Wrench is switched off before installing the battery pack.
9Keep the Impact Wrench and charger clean for best and safest performance.
9Remove ill tting clothing. Remove ties, watches, rings and other loose jewellery and contain long hair.
9Evaluate your working area before using the Impact Wrench; e.g. ceilings, oors and enclosures may contain electrical items or
water piping
9 Ensure battery pack is correctly inserted into the Impact Wrench handle and latched in place before attempting to switch on Impact
Wrench.
9Secure loose work pieces with a clamp, vice or other adequate holding device.
9 Avoid unintentional starting.
9 Wear approved safety eye protection (standard spectacles are not adequate).
9 Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non-skid shoes.
9 Keep direction switch in the locked position until the Impact Wrench is required for use.
9 Keep children and bystanders away whilst operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control
9 Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark area invites accidents.
8DO NOT use the Impact Wrench where there are ammable liquids, solids or gases, such as paint solvents, etc.
8DO NOT allow children to operate the Impact Wrench.
8DO NOT operate the Impact Wrench if any parts are missing as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.
8DO NOT hold unsecured work piece in your hand.
8DO NOT leave the Impact Wrench operating unattended.
8DO NOT carry the Impact Wrench with your finger on the power switch. Keep direction switch in the locked position.
8DO NOT use the Impact Wrench for a task it is not designed to perform.
8DO NOT operate the Impact Wrench when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
8DO NOT get the Impact Wrench or battery charger wet or use in damp or wet locations. Water entering a power tool will increase the
risk of electric shock
8DO NOT operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of ammable liquids,gases or dust. Power tools
create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes
1.2. PERSONAL SAFETY
9 Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool whilst you are
tired or under the inuence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment inattention whilst operating power tools may result in serious
injury.
9 Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes,
hard hat or hearing protection use for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
9 Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the
tool. Carrying power tools with your ngers on the switch or energising power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
9 Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected
situations.
9 Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair and clothing away from moving parts. Loose clothes,
jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts and ignore tool safety principles. A careless action can cause severe injury
9 within a fraction of a second.
8DO NOT force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer
at the rate for which it was designed.
8DO NOT use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is
dangerous and must be repaired.

9 Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or remove the battery pack, if detachable, from the power tool before making any
adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool
accidentally.
9 Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with these power tools or these instructions to
operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
9 Maintain power tools and accessories. Check for misalignment or biding of the moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition
that may affect the power tool’s operation. If damages, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly
maintained power tools.
9 Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc, in accordance with these instructions,taking into account the working conditions and
the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could results in a hazardous situation.
9 Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and grease. Slippery
9 handles and grasping surfaces do not allow for safe handling and control of the tool in unexpected situations.
2. INTRODUCTION
Powerful, lightweight cordless impact wrench. Durable composite housing with soft grip for added comfort. Variable speed trigger
switch as well as three selectable speed settings for maximum control. All metal gear construction for ultimate durability and
performance. Built-in LED worklight. Forward, reverse and trigger-lock. Fitted with electronic brake. Supplied with belt hook for safer
storage whilst not in use. Requires compatible 20V battery and mains charger, sold separately.

4. OPERATION
4.1. Fit the socket to the wrench by snapping it onto the square drive.
NOTE: Use only impact grade sockets.
4.2. Fit the battery pack to the wrench by aligning the tongue on the battery with the groove in the housing and slide into place. Ensure
that the battery pack is rmly located, a click will be heard when it has locked into position.
4.3. Select the required direction of rotation. To change direction, turn the direction control (g.1) to the left or right. DO NOT attempt to
change the direction of rotation whilst trigger is depressed.
4.4. Speed can be controlled by varying the nger pressure on the trigger. Initial pressure will switch on the work light.

NOTE: On critical xings always check the torque with a torque wrench
according to the product or vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines.
4.5. The base on the impact wrench has three selectable speed settings which are
indicated by LED lights to limit the impact wrenches speed.
5. MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Always disconnect the battery before carrying out any
inspection, maintenance or cleaning.
5.1. GENERAL INSPECTION
5.1.1. Regularly check that all the xing screws are tight. Repairs should be
carried out by an authorised service centre.
5.2. CLEANING
WARNING: Always wear protective equipment including eye protection and
gloves when cleaning this tool.
5.2.1. Keep your tool clean at all times. Dirt and dust will cause internal parts to
wear quickly, and shorten the device’s service life.
5.2.2. Clean the body of your machine with a soft brush, or dry cloth.
5.2.3. Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts. If dry cleaning is not
sufcient, a mild detergent on a damp cloth is recommended.
5.2.4. Water must never come into contact with the tool. Ensure the tool is
thoroughly dry before using it.
5.2.5. If available, use clean, dry, compressed air to blow through the ventilation holes (where applicable).
5.3. LUBRICATION
5.3.1. Slightly lubricate all moving parts at regular intervals with a suitable spray lubricant.
5.4. STORAGE
5.4.1. Store this tool carefully in a secure, dry place out of the reach of children.
5.5. BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE
5.5.1. Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of
fire when used with another battery pack.
Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips,coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal
objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
A health and safety assessment by the user (or employer) will need to be carried out to determine the suitable duration of use for
each tool.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted,
taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product
becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and
dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid
waste authority for recycling information.

Warranty: Guarantee is 36 months labour and two years parts warranty from purchase date, proof of which is required for any claim.

5.5.2. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid
contacts yes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
8DO NOT use a battery pack or tool that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behaviour
resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.”
8DO NOT expose a battery pack or tool to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 130°C may cause
explosion.
5.5.3. Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or tool outside the temperature range specified in the instructions.
Charging improperly or at temperatures outside the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
WARNING! – Risk of Hand Arm Vibration Injury.
This tool may cause Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome if its use is not managed adequately.
This tool is subject to the vibration testing section of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
This tool is to be operated in accordance with these instructions.

Uncertainty value (k): 1.5m/s²
Please note that the application of the tool to a sole specialist task may produce a different average vibration emission. We
recommend that a specific evaluation of the vibration emission is conducted prior to commencing with a specialist task.
NB: Stated Vibration Emission values are type-test values and are intended to be typical.
Whilst in use, the actual value will vary considerably from and depend on many factors.
Such factors include; the operator, the task and the inserted tool or consumable.
NB: ensure that the length of leader hoses is sufficient to allow unrestricted use, as this also helps to reduce vibration.
The state of maintenance of the tool itself is also an important factor, a poorly maintained tool will also increase the risk of Hand Arm
Vibration Syndrome.
Health surveillance.
We recommend a programme of health surveillance to detect early symptoms of vibration injury so that management procedures
can be modified accordingly.
Personal protective equipment.
We are not aware of any personal protective equipment (PPE) that provides protection against vibration injury that may result from the
uncontrolled use of this tool. We recommend a sufficient supply of clothing (including gloves) to enable the operator to remain warm and
dry and maintain good blood circulation in fingers etc. Please note that the most effective protection is prevention, please refer to the
Correct Use and Maintenance section in these instructions. Guidance relating to the management of hand arm vibration can be found
on the HSE website www.hse.gov.uk - Hand-Arm Vibration at Work.
The declared vibration total value and the declared noise emission value have been measured in accordance with a standard test
method and may be used for comparing one tool with another.The declared vibration total values and the declared noise emission
values may also be used in a preliminary assessment of exposure.
The vibration and noise emissions during actual use of the power tool can differ from the declared values depending on the ways in
which the tool is used, especially what kind of workpiece is processed. The need to identify safety measures to protect the operator
that are based on an estimation of exposure in the actual condition of use.
